Starts great. Then you decide to make Mc repair homes for 10 years so he does not get too strong for Strawhats. Then you just folow cannon. Making mc cart is just boring. All he does is exist and tell people what will happen in cannon just before it happens, and it still does not change anything because nobody believes him, even when all he says alweys happens. He helped fight Shiki when he was 7 years old(did nothing but he tried), he is 28 and only improvement is that he does not fall into coma for months when he uses the same amount of power as 7 years old. He can not lift a ship. Lazy writing, no imagination for noncanon route. I am disapointed.
Upbeat and entertaining, but not for me. The novel begins with an interesting premise, earning good karma to offset deeds of previous lives. It is a solid start and the follow up is fairly good. The world building is ok, including the basics for the current stat of the world, though you will probably be slightly lost if unfamiliar with the source material as in most fanfics. However, the mc seems to undergo a drastic character change which doesn’t mesh well with the beginning. He becomes childish and immature which doesn’t fit someone who has reincarnated more than once. His body may be a childs but his mind and soul are that of someone who has passed through death more than once. He was even married, but his maturity and experience are abandoned to fit the story. I get the idea, and for one piece, much of it works for the comedy. I smiled more than once, but I also cringed when he started calling Garp his Grandpa due to genuine emotions (especially considering Garp pretty much only beat him). It continues with him being excited for receiving Sengokus hat or his approach to various situations. It is clearly childlike which doesnt fit with his past. The other aspect that pushed me away was the mc’s temporary lack of intelligence to move the plot forward. i.e. forgetting the system which is his most important assest or charging into a group of pirates as a child only to nearly die. Combined with the mc stating he needs to remain weak to join the strawhats, clearly indicates the direction this story will take, which just is not for me. Despite this, the grammer is excellent and the character design(aside from the mc) is also pretty good. There are large sections of dialogue and the worldbuilding isn’t just info dumps but incorporated into the story. Cannot comment on the updates due to them all being a mass upload. Overall, it is entertaining, fairly well written and above avergae for fanfics. The choice of one peice fits the writing style and story direction well (aside from the mc’s past). However, the mc’s childlike character, even with and adult ego and the way/direction the plot progresses with the mc choosing to be weak and the authors use of temporary stupidity/Deus ex machina is clearly targeted to a different audience. If these do not matter to you it is an enjoyable read. But for those who want a bit more maturity and internal consistency, you should probably look elsewhere as like myself, you are not the target audience.

First 30 chapters are good in my opinion, the back story of the MC is good and all. Howevee I'm very disappointed with the fact that he was very complacent during his 10 years of hiding. There was no progress in his power or techniques, he has yet to resolve his non-haki body issue. He just trained his body normally, and that did not help him at all during the Alabasta arc, he fainted again like he was still a kid. Started very good, but is quite disappointing. Hopefully it improves.. Sigh.
This fanfic had everything to be one of the best of it's kind, which makes it even worse for me the direction that the MC took. The MC had everything with the marines, family, friends, possibly lovers, and he left everything behind because he refuse to accept that now that world is not a manga/anime anymore, that's real life, so it's pretty stupid to have this obssesion with making Luffy the pirate king and leave everything behind and join the strawhats. But that's MY opinion tho, but other than, the history is great, world building is really good, the MC creates actual relashionship with people, his characther growth is questionable tho, but that's because of my opinion about him and the straw hats
Really good story until you read it in depth with character of mc changing from mature to child real fast which I guess is acceptable if you use the whole he is in a childs body excuse. However the greatest let down is the over used trope of he is strong but normal pirates defeat him just to humble him into place so he wont seem op. Still overall a good story just not for me not looking for a child that's has reincarnated to much to fall prey to this trope.
Second review at chapter 66 (I just caught up) Our dear author has godly writing skills by we novel standards and know how to make a good story. But unfortunately the stupid ideas live long. The ratio so far is something like: - 1 stupid idea - 3 good ideas - 8 bad ideas. Anyway I would recommend it.
I readed dozens of one piece fanfictions over the last year, and i must confess, this is one the most creative work i have ever seen, shure he does acompany the straw hats, but he has a great past before entering the pirate life, and the love interests doenst fall all over our protagonist without reason, no, there is a construction to arrive it and its pretty fun to whatch it, the MC is funny, charismatic, smart, bit loving and cunning too( in a good way), overall, a nice fanfic to have good time, the only thing is that our protagonist doenst really posess a certain goal per see, but is just a observation, not really a bad point. Ps: listen to the one piece "funny" and "peaciful" ost while reading, really imerses your experience
