you can make MC same level at zoro no problem at that but he started training at 6 years then with garp so he should be stronger with only body at level of post timeskip luffy. at least his fruit power should be more advanced but no he was weak as he 10 years. and the devil fruit is wasted on him.

Of course the mc is an idiot, And that is a Fact. he was born at the time before the Death of Roger So he has so many time to become powerful but looK what the author did wasted ten years so that he can follow lUffy and make luffy a pirate king... He became a side character in the story and still so week... Are You saying that it was a smart move for the mc?? It was a Good story but The author made mc luffY’s dog so who would Not be angry of such a potential story being destroyed just because the MC is beta or fanboy who after so many years still act like a child...

Oh come on given that he was born from time before roger’s death yet you make mc waste his 10 years, you really just don’t have the capacity to Write a non canon route and made MC luffy’s dog whEre his only dream is to make luffy a pirate king.
