After a short journey, the two reached their destination within a mere ten minutes of walking.
Outside, Page halted and turned to face Sebastian.
"I want to fight you! I want to see how I measure up against you!" Page whispered, a determined gleam in his eyes.
Sebastian furrowed his brows, considering the request, then nodded. "Alright, let's do it. I'm curious about your combat abilities too."
With a primal roar, Page underwent a swift transformation, morphing into a towering Spinosaurus, standing approximately 20 meters. His crimson spines jutted from his back, and his massive tail lashed back and forth with incredible force.
The ground quivered under his colossal form. Page's strength had seen a substantial boost, and his capacity to withstand blows had increased significantly. Although his agility was compromised in this state, the destructive power he possessed was formidable.
Sebastian, concerned about waking Ulti, questioned Page, "Aren't you worried about waking her up?"
Page dismissed his concern. "Don't worry about it. She won't wake up. Let's just focus on our fight."
With a ferocious growl, Page opened his bloodstained maw and charged toward Sebastian like an oncoming mountain.
Sebastian remained unfazed. His leg muscles flexed, and with a burst of power, he lunged forward, extending his hand to press against Page's massive head. "Let's see how strong you've become!"
With a mighty shove, Sebastian pushed Page, forcing him to the ground with a resounding crash.
Despite the noise, Ulti continued to sleep soundly, merely shifting in her slumber and kicking off the blanket.
Sebastian playfully commented, "It seems a bit weak."
Page wasn't about to back down. He unleashed a surge of strength, lifting himself off the ground and launching Sebastian into the air. With a whistling sound, Page aimed to strike him with his colossal tail.
Sebastian blocked the attack with both arms, and upon contact, an immense force coursed through his limbs and struck his chest. He couldn't help but express his surprise, "What incredible power! In this form, your strength rivals mine!"
But Page wasn't done yet. He swung his head, attempting to send Sebastian soaring through the air.
In response, Sebastian extended a single finger, conjuring dark green Cero at its tip. Page was taken aback, wondering what trick Sebastian had up his sleeve.
Before he could react, the Cero was launched, striking Page's abdomen.
A loud sizzle resonated as Cero impacted, engulfing Page's colossal form in a cloud of smoke.
Impressed, Sebastian mused, "Not bad at all. The Cero I can produce is several times more powerful than a Marine's cannon. I doubt that was enough to finish you off. Your Spinosaurus form has exceptional defense."
As if confirming Sebastian's assessment, a figure emerged from the dissipating smoke—it was Page, now in his hybrid form.
In this state, Page's physical strength diminished, but his speed and recovery capabilities increased.
Page unleashed a flurry of leg sweeps, narrowly missing Sebastian on more than a dozen occasions. Each of his attacks was deftly dodged by Sebastian.
"Impressive! His combat experience exceeds mine," Page realized.
After evading Page's series of attacks, Sebastian swiftly counterattacked, landing a punch squarely in Page's abdomen. This blow forced Page to vomit blood, clearly feeling the impact.
Seizing the moment, Page gritted his teeth, enduring the pain, and landed a punch squarely on Sebastian's cheek.
Sebastian instinctively leaned back, attempting to evade the punch.!
A slight frown appeared on Sebastian as he found himself immobilized, his foot ensnared by something. Looking down, he discovered that Page's tail had coiled around his leg during the punch.
"Can you dodge it now! I've been waiting for this chance for so long!" Page's arm was cloaked in a dark aura, a manifestation of Armament Haki.
"I'm aware of your remarkable talent, capable of grasping advanced Armament Haki techniques in just a day, but I refuse to believe that your Haki strength surpasses mine!" Page asserted.
It had been a long time since Page had begun honing his Armament Haki, and his prowess had grown considerably since his initial training.
Sebastian's response was a grin as Armament Haki covered his face.
The clashing Armament Haki unleashed a storm of pitch-black energy, showering sparks in all directions.
Moments later, Page withdrew his hand, the shroud of Armament Haki fading to reveal scars etched upon his fist.
Page's face contorted in shock, "Why is your Armament Haki so powerful?"
Sebastian raised a finger, conjuring a dark green phantom. "Is there a possibility that you were too weak?"
"No! Impossible..." Page began, but he couldn't finish his sentence before the pseudo-bomb detonated.
Thick smoke enveloped them both, and the shockwave scattered gravel on the ground.
The leaves of nearby trees were blasted away, fluttering in the wind before settling on the ground.
Coughing, Page covered his mouth, emerging from the dark smoke.
"Hey, you got caught in the explosion too! Do you have a death wish?"
"You hit too hard. If I hadn't shielded my abdomen with Armament Haki, that strike would've killed me," Page protested.
Sebastian waved his hand, dispersing the white smoke. He appeared completely unscathed, his skin devoid of any marks, as if the explosion had never occurred.
Observing his intact form, Page's embarrassment deepened. "I forgot about your steel-like skin, you asshole."
"Still up for a fight?" Sebastian inquired, a playful smile on his lips.
Page shook his head vigorously. "No more, no more. I couldn't beat you even at my peak. My only goal was to trigger your transformation."
Page had known he would likely lose the fight, but his intention had been to provoke Sebastian's transformation. What he hadn't expected was that he couldn't even contend with Sebastian in his regular state. To make matters worse, Sebastian seemed entirely at ease, as if he hadn't exerted himself fully.
This left Page somewhat disappointed. "Can you fulfill your promise now?"
