Another timeskip and incoming danger

During these 3 years, a lot happened. We became a lot stronger.

I can now use observation haki completely which I awakened 3 years ago. My haki is still not very strong nor is my haki quantity very high.

The basic observation haki gives powers that include sensing of presence, strength, intent, and emotion.

All of the above can be sensed accurately with the mastery of observation haki.

Even if a person has not mastered the basic observation haki, he can do all of them but with lesser accuracy. The amount of mastery required to sense presence, strength, intent, and emotion perfectly also varies in the given order.

For example, a person requires very less mastery of observation haki to sense the presence accurately, but he will need a very high mastery to even sense emotions. Like Usopp could sense presence easily for the first time, but he could not have sensed the intent that is attack prediction that easily.

Exceptions exist like Luffy sensed Mihawk's intent to cut his arms, even if he could not sense any presence. Just like Zoro using conqueror's coating before unlocking it the regular way.

However, there is a catch. The stronger your haki is, the lesser amount of haki is needed to perform all of the above and also increase the sensing range. The quantity of haki is nothing but a haki pool.

So even if a person has complete mastery of haki, that person can only keep up all his skills till a point in time where his haki is not exhausted. I and Hodur belong to that category, currently.

In the canon Oda did use the terms like 'strong haki' and 'haki running out' but after personally using haki I could tell precisely what it means, and how it works.

Both haki strength and haki pool also increase with the user's physique, training, and risky situations. Training gives the minimum result, while life and death situations give the maximum result.

There is also haki regeneration which depends on both haki strength and haki pool.

If a person is strong enough like the monster trio post time skip, they can passively use observation haki. That means haki regeneration is greater than haki consumption.

Increasing the sensing range also depends on haki strength and pool.

I also do not use haki in spars, since using it makes the spars very easy.

Regarding other developments, I can perform all of the rokushiki techniques other than rankyaku. Except for kami-e all of them put huge stress on my body. But I can still perform their incomplete versions easily.

My sword mastery increased a lot too. I can do a 1-meter flying slash. The slash loses most of its power after traveling 1 meter, but I am still progressing. I have not yet achieved the breath of all things, but I have a feeling that with my observation haki, I will achieve it soon.

My marksmanship and sniping skills increased a lot. If an object is too far and is in the range of my gun, I can hit it, even if I have to shoot the bullet at a 45° angle.

As for close combat marksmanship, I can reload the gun very fast in one second only. However, it is still nothing to be very proud of, since, after a point of time, 1 second will be a very long time. But my accuracy is very good in combat. I can precisely hit anything while fighting, even while moving my hands.

Speaking of moving my hand while shooting, once while I was shooting by moving my hand, I found that the bullet bent slightly changing the trajectory.

After a few trials and errors, I concluded that it was because the barrel brushed the bullet, resulting in a spin. The spin caused the bullet to bend, like footballs bending in the air during kicks. In my past world, it would be impossible to do something like this, but in this world, it is possible with its ridiculous logic.

I started working on bullet bending. I am also practicing hitting bullets on a different surface and changing the trajectories to aim. I got the inspiration from a certain red-eyed anime character, who did something similar with shurikens and kunais, but I am doing this with bullets.

With Wolf's help, I modified a flintlock, to reduce its bullet size, which increased the number of bullets that the gun can hold at the same time, also I can now carry more bullets. The damage done by each bullet decreases, but it can still do decent damage. Moreover, I can hit critical points as well.

Thor and Hodur improved a lot too. Thor has recently awakened observation haki following grandmas' methods. He has better talent in armament haki, but he does not know something like that exists.

He is still stronger than everyone other than me. I can defeat him without haki too since physically I am the strongest barring Drake's transformations. But Thor's combat sense is monstrous. His hammer arts are also next level.

Even Law and Drake cannot defeat him with their devil fruits. He overpowers Drake's strength and defense with technique but the fights with Law bring out his true capabilities.

If Law attacks him in long-range, he simply dodges it. In close range, he does not even let Law complete a slash. This is true even if Law teleports him.

In case, Law is able to slash him once, he does not panic about getting his body cut in half. He instead uses the two halves efficiently and joins back.

He also has gained incomplete control of all the rokushiki techniques minus rankyaku. Incomplete being, 70% soru (7-step-soru), 50% geppo, 30% tekkai, 60% kami-e and 15% shigan.

He can also do flying blows with his hammer, which reaches 3 meters.

Hodur is the third strongest. He is very good with spearmanship. Also, his observation haki is on the same level as mine now. The only reason for the lack of improvement is the lack of life and death situations.

He too is stronger than everyone else in the group other than Thor and me. Thor, Hodur, and I are the only ones who have awakened haki by now.

We can also defeat Wolf in a complete 1v1. I can defeat him with ease without haki and Thor can defeat him with medium difficulty if he does not use his half ass haki. But Hodur needs to use haki anyway since he is blind and with haki, it is very easy for him to defeat Wolf.

It should be noted that in the canon, by this time Law, Bepo, Penguin and Sachi could not defeat Wolf even fighting in a 4vs1.

His progress in rokushiki is 60% soru (6-step-soru), 40% geppo, 20% tekkai, 90% kami-e and 45% shigan. Probably due to his spear mastery his shigan is stronger like Zoro has a no sword style with bare hands.

Law comes next. With his swordsmanship, and devil fruit he is very strong. He cannot maintain his room for a long time, and doing all his attacks reduces that time by a lot, but if hits, it is almost game over for anyone. 'Almost' because I can do the same thing Thor does even if I am cut in half.

His progress in rokushiki is 40% soru (4-step-soru), 30% geppo, 20% tekkai, 20% kami-e and 5% shigan.

He is also working in the clinic to enhance his medical knowledge.

Next comes Drake. He is taught to properly use his zoan transformation by grandmas. He has also learned swordsmanship and axemanship. He can defeat Law if Law does not use his devil fruit at all.

His progress in rokushiki is 60% soru (6-step-soru), 50% geppo, 90% tekkai, 40% kami-e and 70% shigan. In his hybrid form, his rokushiki is at my level. That is due to an increase in raw strength, while mine is due to technique mastery. But because he could actually use the complete rokushiki in his hybrid form, he could gain the essence of each small movement better, due to which he progressed very fast in them.

We dug up a pool with knee level depth so that Law and Drake can train in there. But, they are nowhere physically strong enough for that training. The moment they step in that pool they lose all their power, and are unable to even lift themselves up.

Bepo has learned unarmed combat from grandmas. He can also use electro. But even with electro, he cannot compete with the above. Others simply avoid his electro attacks. Only I, Thor, and Drake while using his devil fruit can tank his electro without many consequences. I and Thor slowly built up our resistance to electro.

His progress in rokushiki is 50% soru (5-step-soru), 30% geppo, 60% tekkai, 30% kami-e and 70% shigan. He has naturally long bear nails aiding his shigan by a lot.

This mission was from the [mission board]. The system is partially locked but I could still view and complete missions from the [mission board]. The reward will be withheld till I get the complete system.

The element in One Piece is interesting. I still don't know the details, but many characters can use many elements. Like Kinemon's fire, Vista's flowers, Ideo's explosion, McGuy's lightning, etc. Some races have elements with them like fisherman's water, mink's electricity, Lunarian's flames, etc but others are seen using them as well, while others might have limitations.

Sachi and Penguin are the weakest. Their rokushiki proficiency is around 20% each, having no progress in Rankyaku. But they can still defeat the jungle lord all alone. However, they are good at using their heads while fighting. Their fighting style is a lot tricky from what I have seen.

I plan to solve the problem with Devil Fruits. I just need to find them some paramecia or logia with tricky abilities and they should be able to do wonders with it. But I will hold it for now. Moreover, I do not want them to be Caesar clown or Mr 3 who were good with their own devil fruits, but physically very weak.

In these 3 years, all of us came to know that the grandmas were not some simple people who learned how to fight in some dojo.

Law pointed it out first because he had seen the world already. He knows that someone of this strength cannot be this simple.

Dorothea simply said "You are right. We will reveal our past when we think you are ready to know about it"

Doflamingo too became a shichibukai. Law was very upset after getting this news.

Law had also told his entire backstory to the grandmas after that.

Grandmas decided not to tell anything to Tsuru since that would reveal that he has the ope-ope-no-mi. If by any chance this gets leaked to the government they will do anything to get Law.

They trusted Tsuru, but that does not mean that the information could be hidden with a 100% guarantee. Anything from some weird mind-reading devil fruit, to government spies, can compromise this information. Also, Doflamingo is already a shichibukai and they too know he had something against the Celestial Dragons.

I also distributed 200 million worth of treasure to both the orphanage and Wolf. I said I found it on the seafloor while swimming. If I revealed that I had stolen this treasure from right under Doflamingo's nose, I would not be left unpunished, and this punishment would be much more intense.

Today, Tsuru-san came to pick up grandmas, in some regular caravel, in civilian clothes.

She had a talk with grandmas privately and they were ready to go. Might be some secret mission.

They bid us farewell.

It didn't look like they wanted to go, but who knows what Tsuru-san told them.

"We will be gone for a few weeks, for some work. Everyone take care"

"In our absence do not cause any trouble. Got it, boys. Emma, keep an eye out on them for us."

"Yes, grandma Catherine. They will not be able to cause any trouble"

"Right boys" She said that with a smile, but we all know what that smile means.

Thor: "Yes yes. Do not worry about us"

Jai: "When have we ever caused you any trouble?"

Hearing us say that, Emma, Catherine, and Dorothea had a very angry look on their face. If it was Drake or Bepo saying that, they would not have given that reaction. But both of us caused far more trouble than anyone else.

Soon they gave us a hug and departed.

But there was another thing going on in my mind. Another canon event that was yet to occur. And it is supposed to happen this year.

It is an attack by Artur Bacca. He is Wolf's son. According to the canon, he is supposed to attack the town and enslave people with his devil fruit, to find some legendary treasure. He was the major antagonist in Law's novel and gave 5 of them a very serious fight.

After coming to this world I always wondered, how could Artur cause havoc in the town, with the grandmas present?

Artur and his crew can be a challenge to the current Law, but for grandmas, who fought the likes of Roger pirates and Rocks pirates, the entire crew was cannon fodder. This is true even if some tricky or overpowered fruit is included.

Law's fruit is both tricky and overpowered, but the grandmas can fight him with ease.

They could even solve the situation while staying hidden or moving too fast.

But what if they were not present on the island at that time? It perfectly makes sense. And seeing that they are not present now, makes me more cautious.

I went up to Wolf and said "Wolf-san, can I borrow one of your flintlock rifles with regular bullets?"

"You can, but why do you need that?"

"Grandmas are not here and I have a bad feeling. If pirates attack I will snipe them from somewhere hidden to not expose ourselves"

"That is a good idea, you can reduce casualties by a lot like that. Ok, you can have it."

"Thank you"

Like this, I got a flintlock rifle from Wolf's collection which has the highest range and damage. Much like traditional rifles, it is not automatic or even semi-automatic, making it purely bolt-action based. The loading is done manually to increase the firepower and range.

But that is not a problem for me since I can both load and reload it very fast.

a. He will lose a part of his skull bone, or hair, or both in human form.

b. His human form will not have any change, but next time he transforms, he will have a horn missing permanently

c. The next time he transforms, or after some time, he will regrow his horn

2. If any mammal zoan user (like Lucci) shaves/waxes their body in zoan transformation, what will happen?

a. They will lose all body hair in human form, and the regrowth of hair in human form will return their fur in zoan form.

b. There will be no change in human form but in zoan form, they will be hair/fur less. If you choose b then

b1. The fur will never grow back

b2. The fur will start growing only if the person transforms (For example, if their transformation is [on] for 1 month { or any other timespan} fur will grow back and if they never transform even for a year their fur will not grow back even an inch)

b3. The fur will grow back after a certain timespan even if the user does not transform at all
