Timeskip and Plans

[Timeskip: 3 months]

It's been about three months since I arrived in this world, after the public found out I was the one to rescue the princes, my public image rose even more, but at the same time after finding out how I saved her they seem to be equally as terrified. Can't blame them though, what would you do if you found out someone can just raise his hand and the next moment you are minced meat, and what if that person was your neighbor? Needless to say you would be terrified.

Speaking of the princess, after I saved her, the second day a guard showed up telling me I have been invited to dine with the king and his daughter. Of course, I accepted and brought Miss. All Sunday with me.

There, they started by thanking me for rescuing Vivi after wich we had a lovely dinner. It's clear that the king owes me a big favor, and I'll make sure to make the most out of it.

Another thing, I started my training in Haki and with my abilities, one thing I didn't understand in the original work was why didn't Crocodile train more, it is stated that he reached the New World so he probably knew about haki and the chance one had to awaken his devil fruit. I won't make the same mistakes, after Nico Robin canceled my plans I suddenly had a lot of free time, I used almost all of it to train.

Of course I didn't forget to enjoy this country as much as I can, from the women to the incredible cuisine I wanted to experience all of it, I mean what good is a second life if you don't enjoy it.

As for my training I'd say it's going pretty well, in terms of haki I can willingly use observation haki I can cover the whole Alubarna with it. I haven't made much progress in armament Haki but I can use it on my sand and on weapons.

As for Conquerors Haki I can activate it at will but If someone has enough will they won't be affected.

For me, by far the most important is Observation Haki I put it as my goal to attain Katakuri's level. For a logia type this is the best Haki to concentrate on. Seeing as I don't have to worry about seawater and seastone if I manage to reach that level, there would be very little that could actually harm me. Even now the only people that present a danger to me are those who also know haki.

Apparently Crocodile was born on September 5th 1479, that makes me 42 years old. Currently it's the year 1522 which means in a few months Luffy at the young age of 17 will begin his journey to become the pirate king and find the legendary treasure one piece. Roughly about three months after that his crew will be separated by Bartholomew Kuma and Luffy will make his way to Marine Ford in order to save his brother, Ace.

[Marine Ford..., definitely one of the best arcs in One Piece, but seeing as I'm not trying to take over this country I will never be defeated by Luffy and in turn I will not end up in Impel Down, so most probably I'm gonna get called to help in this battle. Staying with the Marines is also not an option, after the events of Marineford the Schibukai system will be abolished and I'm going to be hunted.

I have to betray them and what better place than the battle between Marines and Whitebeards crew, Haaa they will never see it coming.]

[But until then I have to get even stronger, after all I'm gonna attempt to kill an Admiral.]

[Robin pov:]

It's been 3 months since Crocodile suddenly had a change of heart, at first it was just some small stuff but gradually he began to change his entire persona although still having that annoyed look all the time.

I was surprized when he didn't outright demand some form of compensation or even to be made a royal of this country from the king after he saved the princess. He also seems to be more cautious and at times, when he let's his guard down he has a sense of urgency like something big is about to happen. I suspect this is also the reason why he began to train again.

After a lot of pestering I found out what haki is, to think people are capable of such amazing feats even without devil fruits, I thought only giants and Garp which up until now I considered to be a isolated case, can obtain this strength. Needless to say after I found out about this I under Crocodiles watch began to learn haki, I haven't been successful in observation and Conquerors haki, but I seem to have a knack for armament haki.

In this time I also started to se Crocodile in a new light, if previously I thought him to be a impulsive man who tried to take over this country as consolation for being defeated by Whitebeard, now he seems to be much more cunning, and even somewhat.... attractive. Fufufufu what am I thinking.

[Crocodile pov:]

Another thing that I manage to do was expending my line of casinos, so far I have three in East Blue and one in North Blue. This, of course, was done under a different name, I have no doubt that if I used my real name they will all be shut down after the World Government will abolish the Warlords system.

At least now I have a steady source of income.

Now for the main topic, the suna suna no mi, so far I've been able to recreate all of Crocodiles original moves and taking inspiration from Gaara I began to work on my own version of [Grand Sand Mausoleum Seal], I can do it pretty easily the issue is to imbue it with haki so I can trap Logia type devil fruit users.

[Hmmm... if I want to set sail in New World I need a incredible navigator, sure Robin has some skill but it's not nearly enough for that place.

So far, besides myself my crew only has two other members, Miss. All Sunday (Robin) and Mr. 0 (Daz Bonez), I still need a cook, a musician, a shipwright, a doctor and a helmsman.]

[But first let's take care of the most pressing matter, the navigator]

Just as I finish my thought, I go over, pick up the Den Den Mushi and call Robin.

"Purururururu...." "Yes Boss?" I can hear Robin's voice.

"Call Mr. 1 and tell him to meet me as soon as possible..... I have a job for him."
