On Arrival and the Sponsors

With thirty minutes left to board the flight, I called Little Moon. Hope she's awake by now.

"Good Morning, Little Moon"

"Good Morning" I heard her voice. "I am just reading your letter while having the tea you made."

"How was the tea?" I asked jokingly.

"Tastes good."

"Hmm.. So did you finish reading the letter?"

"Hmm...."

"What do you think about what I have said?"

"I think I like that idea."

"But you will have to be careful in the coming months, till I come back."

"Ok. I will."

"You will see a lot of news after the post I had yesterday." I was regretting not taking her with me. "Don't ponder on online news and gossips."

"You know I trust you." That's all she said. And my mother wanted to talk to her.

"Hi dear, Sorry for coming without saying goodbye to you. Geo didn't want to wake you up."

"That's ok aunty. You two have a safe flight."

"Stay safe dear. I will call you once I get back home."

I ended the call as we had to board the plane. Lee had asked me to be prepared as the media as gone crazy after the photo of my engagement with Little Moon. Many have been speculating many things but no one was able to find out who she is. Mr.D had told Kevin to be prepared as well to help us out in this situation. I am so grateful to Mr.D, he is a real friend and a good partner who cares about the people working with him.

We landed in about five hours. I was feeling a bit tired, but Lee messaged me to e prepared. Seems there is a lot of media and fans have come out.

"Mom, be prepared for a big mob of media and fans"

"Ok son, but why don't you call and let Litle Moon know.''

"I am about to call her".

Lee came at the same time as the security. I motioned him to take my mother out safely while I went with Lee and the team.

"Little Moon, we landed safely. How are you?"

"I am fine, How about you? is the media around?"

"Yes, they are already taking photos. but I will be ok."

"Ok then. You go home safe. And take care of Mom."

The media was asking question after question. All about my sudden engagement and details about who she is. I knew they have already photographed my ring and already making headline news about this. Lee had already noted to me that some of my sponsors were already requesting permission to use this news for their promotional purposes. I asked Lee to decline these offers, as for one she is not the ideal look they are thinking I might get engaged to and I wanted to protect her identity.

I know the media was going crazy without the proper information. I can imagine the damaging or inquiring headlines on entertainment posts and media. I only hope Little Moon will not be affected mentally. Maybe I should call Mr.D and ask him to check on her.

"George, check this out" Lee handed me an online post that was uploaded just thirty minutes ago. And I was still on my way home. The photos of me coming out of the airport and a zoomed photo of the ring captioned, "Mysterious lover with a ring to it".

"Lee, do you think I need to post something to clarify the matters?"

"Hmm... Let's ask what Mr.D for what he thinks. He is also the guardian of Little Moon."

"Ok, I agree. We'll do like that."

We called Mr.D and he agreed on doing a live stream through Instagram.

So with Lee's help, I wrote what I am about to say..

"Hi, everyone. We will be starting our new drama filming next week. The vacation I took helped me to understand my character and the people who represent in the drama, so this helps with conveying the proper feelings and emotions. We will be releasing the title song of the drama in Two weeks. Hope you will enjoy the song.

I know many of you know by now that I am engaged. To tell a bit about her, she is an ordinary person with extraordinary talent. You might have already come across the work she has done. But unfortunately, at the moment, I am unable to disclose her identity or any other detail about her. I hope you all will understand and respect our privacy.

I will tell you about her at the right time, the right date, and at the right place. I know all of you have visioned the person beside me should be a beautiful and popular person. But my girl has her own charm and beauty, she's a person with an inner beauty who is creative and full of charm to captivate my heart. I had known her since the time I have started my acting career.

Hope this clarifies everything to you all and I really hope you all be patiently wait till the day I introduce her to you. Remember to listen to the title song of our new drama in two weeks. Be Happy and Goodbye."

I live-streamed that evening and explained the situation. Luckily many understood and respected my decision. While some were calling I am faking it or just playing around. I didn't want to explain further but let them wait to find out the truth. I know many will be surprised when they see her.

Lee had arranged a meeting with the sponsors, as I had to clarify things. I also got Mr.D to join the meeting through an online video conference. This was the first time they saw Mr.D in person. He explained that the girl I have engaged is his sister but he also refrains from telling more about her. When the sponsors asked why Mr.D answered that she is an introvert and she doesn't like her peaceful mind to be disturbed.

To help the sponsors Mr.D suggested they use my personality as a lover to do promotional materials. But he made a point that they cannot use any detail about Little Moon.
