Missing her

The first day was tough. With all those media and sponsor calls I had a tiring day. I really didn't have time to call Little Moon since the time I last called her from the airport. Maybe I will call her after heading home.

"Geo, we are home." Lee wakes me up near my private home.

"Thanks, Lee. How was the response?"

"The news is still going on but we do have a positive vibe. So not to worry. You just go and have a good rest now."

"What do you have scheduled for tomorrow?"

"I left the day free. So you can unwind and relax."

I bid goodnight to Lee and went to the home. This is the home I bought for Little Moon. The view of the sea and a ten-minute walk to the beach were ideal for her. This was a new build home with modern features similar to her home. I refreshed up and made some dinner and went to the outdoor patio. She must be still awake.

"HI" I called her.

"Hi."

"How was your day?"

"Started on some sketches and cleaned out the home. What about you? Did you had dinner?"

"I just whipped myself something. Miss your cooking." I heard her laugh.

"Did Brother D call you?"

"Yes, he told me everything that happened. Aren't you exhausted?"

"Abit. But it's ok. I wanted to make sure you are safe."

"How is aunty?"

"She is pretty used to it. So she can handle it." She went silent for a while.

"Do I hear the sound of the waves?" Her voice was excited.

"Do you know where I am?"

"Where?"

"Do you want to see?"

"Hmm"

I switched to video call and showed her the beach view. There was some small celebration was going on and they were having a firework display to celebrate.

"WOW!! so where is this exactly?" I see her excited face.

"This will be one of your future homes. We'll spend the winter here."

"OH!!! " she was blushing.

"Yes, only the two of us. I have everything ready for you already."

We went on talking for about an hour more before she persuades me to go and sleep. I let the sea breeze come into the room which felt refreshing. I was able to have a good night's sleep with no dreams and got up with a clear mind.

I had to make a plan about the promotional material and as to what I should expose or not as a set of confidential set of rules. This took me all morning and when I checked my phone Ted has sent me photo of Little Moon, busy with some artwork. But when I looked closed only I saw she was actually staring at the ring.

"Don't you have anything to do rather than staring at the ring?" I called her.

"Aha!!"

"I got a photo of someone staring at it instead of working."

"TED!!! I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!!!" she went looking for him with the phone in hand.

"Brother Geo save me" He screamed.

The only thing I could do was laugh at their childish acts. These two kids. I hope they always keep that childish side of them forever. Life will never be dull with them.

I asked Lee to come by during dinner. I am glad he bought hot pot as I was missing it a lot. This is also the first time he is going to see this home.

"WOW, nice place man."

"Hi, Lee, I knew you would say that."

"But why did you get a place like this, it's a bit far from the city."

"This is the winter vacation home for Little Moon and me." I explained.

"Ohhh... so you have planned everything out."

"Yes, I have. Do you want a house tour?"

"Why not.."

I took him around the house and he was really impressed by the views. I also told him that he could stay here from time to time when I am not around. As if to take care of the home.

"Aren't you planning to settle here permanently?" Lee asked me.

"NO, I will live with her and we'll have to travel several times a year to Europe and here. SO I thought of keeping this as a vacation home."

"What about Europe?"

"Mr.D's home is there."

We settled on the open porch facing the beach to have our hot pot dinner. The upcoming work schedule has been discussed and confirmed that I shared it with Little Moon, so she knows where I will be at certain times.

"Oh, Goe, Mary had settled and now don't make any trouble for us."

"That's good. But one day when she sees her, he will make a huge fuss."

"We'll take care of it then. First, we'll finish off filming."

"I almost forgot, Little moon said she wants to check the filming from time to time. Is there a way we can do it?"

"I'll think about a way, and let you know tomorrow."

After we finished discussing and having dinner, Lee left and I called Little Moon. We talked about daily stuff and I said,

"I'll arrange a way for you to see the filming on time, so you can give your input to the scene."

"Ok. But I don't need to see all just a few important scenes only. THat only has expressions without words."

"Can you tell me the parts"

"I will send Lee the necessary scence. So everything is going on as planned?"

"Yes."

I heard Ted's voice asking her to have dinner, and it was almost near midnight in her time.

"Little Moon," I said angrily at her.

""ohhh... sorry I was so glued to this new 3d model I am doing. So I forgot."

"Ask Ted to bring the food."

I made her have the dinner in front of me, in exchange I told her a made-up story.
