It's been two days since Zavez's death.

Andrew could be seen standing near the lake with a girl in his arms.

"What is that?" the girl pointed her arms to a fruit on the tree to her right.

"That's mango," said Andrew to the girl.

"Taste good?" she asked as she saw the fruit had a yellow color as Andrew brought her close to it.

"It does," her red eyes shined hearing it.

Andrew had a small smile as he plucked the mango from the tree and gave it to the girl.

"You can eat it with the skin, the skin makes you healthier," he said and the girl took a bite and she smiled as the fruit went into her mouth.

"Tasty!!" she exclaimed and took another bite.

"Eat it slowly, don't want you to get choked again and Barton scolding me,"

She started to eat slowly but there was a smile on her face.

Andrew and Scarlet walked and talked more like Andrew talking and Scarlet listening for the next one hour.

They were interrupted when Barton called out to Andrew.

"Andrew!!"

Andrew turned to Barton and said, "Coming,"

As he came close to Barton, he said, "What happened?"

"I will be going on a mission and if you need anything let me know," as he said that he carried Scarlet in his arms and kissed her cheeks which in turn made Scarlet giggle.

In these days that Scarlet started to live them, she was gradually healing and the day after Zavez's death, was a breakthrough as she yelled out all her pain all of a sudden. She did not want anyone of us to go away and it seemed she saw us go through the jet when we left late at night. She thought it was because of her and cried all night and the next day when she saw us, she rushed into Andrew's arms as she cried and yelled out her pain.

It took them an hour to calm her down. Natasha took Lisa and Cooper out, and it was Andrew, Barton, and Laura who played the major role and gave the warmth that Scarlet always wanted.

Now today, she became lively and we all were happy for her and knew from now on her past will not make her stop doing things.

"I will be back in a few days, kiddo, and make sure your mother is not sad. If you are a good girl, I will buy you strawberry Ice Cream that you like when I come back,"

"Four Scoops," she said raising four fingers.

"Your becoming greedy aren't you, kiddo?" He laughed.

"How many days?" asked Andrew.

"I don't know, maximum of two weeks. Natasha will soon return and she can help you in figuring out about Trich," he said.

The next target that Andrew decided to go after was Trich. The only lady on his mission and he learned that she was forced to accept because her son was in their hands. He decided to help her out and get her in a safe place after rescuing her son. He has yet to contact her and he decided to do it after Natasha comes. Even though he has the phone to make untraceable calls he did not want to take any chances.

"When are you leaving?" asked Andrew.

"In an hour or two. I will be taking the jet back to the base and Natasha will come using that in a day or two." Barton said as they walked back home.

They entered the home and could see Lisa crying as Barton was leaving.

Cooper was close to breaking it out but was holding it back. Scarlet was sad as well but since she was promised 4 scoops of her favorite Strawberry Ice Cream, she was better than the other two.

Andrew remembered how Isabella would cry every time he leaves and how Emma calms her down.

Andrew came out of his memories and saw Barton and Laura calming the kids down.

He then went out again and this time to the base to practice his skills.

He was also in a dilemma of what to unlock in his Enhancements. He has 2-Runes in his hands and was thinking of either storing them to further unlock Abilities or unlock any one of the Enhancements right now.

"Agility will increase my speed, Shadow Walk will erase the ones who I kill without them knowing, Intelligence will help me further in improving the capabilities of the mind, Vitality increases my health, endurance, and stamina, Regeneration requires my Strength, Vitality, and Agility to be at the same level before I can spend my Runes to unlock it… I should unlock everything before upgrading them. So, I will put a hold on Strength, and Intelligence. I also have to have a backup of Runes for a rainy day, something tells me to have a backup from now on."

After contemplating for another few minutes, he decided to unlock Agility and made a promise to himself to have Runes in backup next time.

The moment he used the Runes and unlocked it, he felt the same sensation when he unlocked Strength. The pain came from the depths of his body and this time he was focused as he wanted to find out whether the energy of the void played a role in this. He remembered the feeling of using the void energy in his skills and wanted to see whether the void energy has a role in enhancing him.

He gritted his teeth as his body heated up. His bones, organs, and brain all started to heat up. But the degree varied for all of them with Brain feeling it the least.

'I feel it… The Energy from the Void does play a role in Enhancements…'

His bones, organs, and brain, he felt them being surrounded by the void energy. He felt the same sensation when he uses his abilities.

He did not understand what the energy was doing to enhance him but he can feel the results.

The sensation started to die down and soon stopped. His body returned to normal except for the pool of sweat under him.

'Is it different for every enhancement?'

He felt power rising in him when he unlocked Strength and this time, he felt a different kind of power. He felt his hands, legs, and brain becoming more connected. He felt his body was becoming agile as if he can react to any danger that stands in front of him. He felt if he wants his body to react in some way it will do it.

He decided to put his body to the test. He came out of the base and stood outside it.

He put force in his legs and dashed forward.

He did not expect to cross over 50 meters within 5 seconds.

'10m/s, it does what it was told. Can I increase it though by putting more force on my legs?'

He did as he thought and could feel a tinge of pain in his legs more as he ran for a few minutes.

A few minutes later, he felt the pain increase more and stopped.

'I can handle for a few more minutes but if I make myself run only in 10m/s which is 36km/hour then I can hold out as long as I don't lose Stamina. I can increase the force in my legs only in dire circumstances and maintain a speed of 10m/s when being safe. It will take time for me to do it naturally.'

He also understood why his brain was enhanced as well, it did not typically increase his thinking speed or comprehension ability it was more like improving the connection between his brain and the other parts of the body that allowed the commands to travel faster. In terms of combat, his reaction speed will also be high due to this.

'This is good. I have to see how high I can jump as well.'

Once he saw how high he could jump, he decided to learn parkour skills as well.

He started his training to naturally shift his speed and train on parkour skills. He wanted to master them both before he starts his next mission.
