Baby names

A month has past. Mar is really taking care of Ren. He doesn't even want her to lift a plate to clean.

"I want you to stay here in bed and rest, love."

"But I am always in bed, I am feeling a little bored. Make me help with something here at home."

"No, I want you to rest and take care of the baby in your tummy. I don't want anything to happen to both of you. "

"I don't think doing chores are bad for me."

"Yes, I know, but we can't be sure, can we? So please behave and just rest, okay?"

"All right, all right." Ren replied while rolling her eyes.

She became moody after being pregnant. It must be the hormones or whatever you call it.

Seeing how Ren reacted, Mar thinks she is cute and cuddles with her on the bed in front of the fireplace.

"Have you thought of a name for the baby?"

Ren smiled, she has been thinking about baby names since they found out that she is pregnant.

"I do have thought of some names, but I want your input about it."

"Okay, let me hear them."

"For a girl, I thought of Ava or Aria. And for a boy, Gael or Ezra."

"Those names are cute. Let's go for Aria and Ezra."

Ren can't stop smiling. Just thinking about the baby, she can't help but be happy.

Her tummy grumbles. This makes both of them laugh.

"Are you hungry again? Do you want me to make something for you to eat?"

"I would love to eat some bread and egg."

"What's a bread? I will make it if I can."

"Bread is prepared from a dough with flour and water. But I don't think we have flour. Flour is made from grinding raw grains or beans."

"Is that it? I think I can manage to make some for you. We have some bean in the cellar. Would chickpea beans be fine?"

"That is actually good for a flour. You just need to grind it and turn it into a flour. But it will take some time and I am hungry now."

"Okay, I will make you some egg first. Would you like some fried eggs or boiled eggs?"

"Boiled eggs, please."

Mar kiss her forehead and went to the kitchen.

He shakes the egg so that the egg yolk would mix with the egg white. This is how Ren would want her boiled egg. He then put it in the boiling water.

When the egg is fully cooked. He took the shell off and served it to Ren.

He then came back to the kitchen to make the flour.

He prepares the stone grinder and started grinding the chickpea.

It took some time, but he did it. He even sifts the flour to make it into a fine one. He went to Ren to show her what he made.

"Is this what a flour looks like?"

"Oh, this is it. You really are good at making things dear."

"It took me some time, but I made it. I really want to make you the food that you want to eat. Especially now that you are pregnant. They said that pregnant women are picky with what they eat."

"I don't know about being picky, coz this is my first time being pregnant." Ren replied shyly.

"It is fine if you became picky with food, as long as you and our baby is healthy."

A tear runs down on Ren's face.

"What happen love? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, maybe because of the pregnancy, I am being moody. I feel touched with how you take care of me."

"It's only natural for me to do so. You are my mate and you are pregnant. I am the luckiest man in this village."

Ren thinks it's silly, but he is cute when he says things like this.
