The great news

Ren is in front of the fireplace, while waiting for Mar to finish cooking for dinner.

She never leaves that place. They even put their bed near it so she will feel comfy when sleeping.

Few weeks have past since Mar builds it.

Mar enter the living room with the food and set it up in the table.

They ate and finished eating.

Ren remembered why hasn't her period coming.

Trying to count the weeks and days.

Mar noticed that she looks troubled.

"What is it, dear? You look troubled."

"I am just counting the weeks since my last period. I should have it last week. Why haven't I got my period now? It is late. This never happens before."

"What do you think would cause this?"

"Besides being just late. There is another reason for my period not to come. " Ren smiles. If she is right, it would make Mar happy.

"What is it?"

"I think I am pregnant. It is not sure yet, but it is the other reason for my period not to come."

Mar is so shocked to hear this. So shocked that he stops moving for a few minutes.

He then hugged Ren and lift her up.

"I am going to be a father Ren. I am so happy. " Kissing Ren on the lips.

Ren is glad seeing his reaction. He can't believe a man would be this happy hearing this kind of news.

"It is not sure yet. I don't know if how can we know for sure if I am pregnant."

Still hugging Ren, "I will bring the village doctor here. I'm sure he can tell us if you are pregnant or not."

His eyes are so bright, you can see how happy he really is.

"Let's do that tomorrow. It's already late."

"But I want to know now if you are really pregnant. I don't know if I will be able to sleep with this in mind."

Ren laughed, she thinks that Mar is really excited about this.

"Okay, it is up to you. But don't forget it's freezing cold outside."

"Don't worry, we males don't get cold. I will be leaving. " He kissed Ren on the cheek and transformed into his beast form.

Mar reached the village doctor's hut as fast as he could.

"Good evening doctor Amir. My mate thinks she is pregnant. Can you confirm it for us, please?"

The village doctor Amir is a lion beast man. He is in the green valley village of the tiger beast because he wants to hone his skills as a doctor.

He usually went from places to places of different beast village.

He is also as tall as Mar. Medium length brown hair. Big brown eyes. And light brown skin. He is pretty handsome for a doctor.

Amir is also interested in meeting the Chiefs mate. He hears a lot of things about her. They say she is small and pretty.

"Okay chief, I will get my stuff and come with you."

Mar immediately went back to their hut with the doctor.

Ren is really surprised that he really does bring the doctor this late at night. That's the village chief for you.

She got up from the bed in front of the fireplace to greet the doctor.

"Good evening, I am the village doctor. My name is Amir. The chief has told me that you think you are pregnant, so I am here to check it for you."

"Yes, please doctor. We are eager to find out if it is true. Thank you for coming."

"You may sit down comfortably so I can check for your pulse."

She sat down on the bed again. Then the doctor takes her pulse.

He then confirms that Ren really is pregnant.

He got up and shake the Chiefs hand.

"Congratulations chief, you're mate is pregnant. "

"That's a great news." He can't contain his happiness. He shouts and raise his two hands.

He then went to hug Ren.

"You are pregnant, love. I am going to be a father."

Ren is really happy. Tears falling down from her face.

"Thank you doctor for confirming my pregnancy. We owe you one."

"No need to worry. It is my job as a doctor. " He smiles. He thinks that this little female really is so pretty.

He also can't believe that the chief is like a kid in front of his mate. He has never seen him act like this before.

"Congrats again. I will take my leave now, so you can celebrate this good news."

"I will see you out doctor. Thank you again for coming."

Mar shake the doctor's hand and close the door after he leaves.

He went back to Ren to hug her again and kissed her on the forehead.

He touches her tummy. "Our family will grow like how we wanted, love."

"Yes and we will be happy for sure. I wonder if it's a boy or a girl. " Ren thought.

"No matter what it is, we will love it for sure."
