3 3) Lunch and Talking.......

Rosalie looked up at him and paused for a moment before she got a little push from Alice who she turned to glare at, "Yes that would be fine." She said turning back to Cory giving him a blinding smile. Cory almost clutched his chest that smile was so beautiful it literally took his breath away, he had to take a moment turning away to calm down.

The three saw his reaction but didn't know what was wrong with him, Alice had a small smile like she knew a moment later but she needed to talk to Rosalie in private later. Cory turned back and nodded, "Okay cool, well we can do it two ways split it up and work on it independently. Or we can meet on weekends until we get this done, ladies choice." he said giving her a killer smile.

Though it was only a short time he felt his chest tight and his heart rate increase when he thought of being near her or doing anything with her. Rosalie looked at him for a moment thinking it over, "Let's do weekends, though it would be better to do it separately we might end up messing up what the other person will do, so it will be easier to work together."

Cory nodded, "Sure sounds good."

Alice and Jasper watched the two, when they finished speaking Alice spoke up, "Well great you can come by our house and work with her on it." she clapped excitedly, "Oh great idea, Cory do you want to be best friends?"

Cory looked at her with a raised eyebrow, he shook his head chuckling a little, "Why not you seem like someone who will bring energy to my life." Alice Squealed bouncing in her seat while Jasper nodded, Rosalie had her head down again so he couldn't see her expression.

The class soon ended after with Alice skipping next to him and Jasper, Rosalie was on his other side but her expression was cold as she walked down the hall. Alice followed him all the way to his class before pouting when he left, he promised to meet her at lunch though which made her smile. Rosalie gave him a smile and goodbye before he could go in though.

-----Rosalie POV*-----

Rosalie woke up this morning feeling something weird she couldn't tell what it was but she knew that something was just going to happen today. Like usual she got ready for school before walking downstairs and seeing her family already there in the living room.

Emmett the big lug was sitting with his mate Becky, Jasper was smiling and whispering something to Alice who kept smiling, and the brooder Edward was sitting alone. He shot her a glare most likely in her thoughts which she hated but he seemed to not care as he liked to intruded on peoples private life like some sort of creepy stalker.

The two had a glaring contest but she wouldn't take it back though they were family and she would be there for him always she didn't like that he could just read her mind. When it got close enough for school to start they all took off and arrived when everyone else was already inside the school, which she was thankful for she hated the staring.

When her, Alice, and Jasper made it to their history class they were only sitting for a moment before Rosalie felt a pang in her chest. Looking up she saw him walk in his messy black hair with black eyes that had a purple and blue hue to them, he was wearing a black trench coat that made him look more mysterious.

"....Sit next to Rosalie Hale." she heard their teacher say with him looking over at her and her siblings. When their eyes met she was sure her heart would skip a beat if she had a heartbeat, quickly she put her head down so she wouldn't stare like she wanted too.

When he sat next to her his scent was like other humans that was sickly sweet but more woodsy making him smell like fresh pine, she wanted to lean over and sniff him more. She shook those thoughts away and glared hearing Alice before talking to him, the rest of class was hell for her but also bliss.

After class when they dropped him off she had to stop herself from jumping on his back and clinging to him like a koala. She turned and looked at Alice who was giving her a knowing smile while Jasper was also grinning ever if he had a pained look on his face again, damn his abilities.

"At least out loud, I won't say I'm in looooove!" Alice sung as she began swing hers and Jaspers arm walking down the hall. Rosalie grumbled while walking in the other direction, at least she would see him at lunch.

Cory went through the next few classes bored, he had asked his parents to graduate early but they didn't allow him to and said he needed to make friends. When lunch came he walked down the halls attracting stares but he ignored them he also ignored the blushing girls who waved at him slightly.

When he made it to the cafeteria he brought his own lunch since almost every school had trash for school lunches, looking around he didn't see the Cullen's so he waited. While he was waiting he saw a girl with brown hair and eyes walk up to him and he could only sigh, it was Jessica she was blushing but came over.

"Hi I'm Jessica, you must be new.. well duh you are new, anyway do you want to sit with me and my friends?" She asked looking nervous.

Cory stared at her, he couldn't say he didn't like her or like her it was just she was just to jealous of others, he was sure if she found someone like the Cullen's it would pass. He went to reject since he was going to eat with Rosalie and the group but stopped seeing them walk in, Jessica followed his eyes.

"Oh the Cullen's huh? They are Mr. and Mrs. Cullen's adopted kids they are all together, like together together. You probably don't know them, the one in front is Emmett the girl walking with him is his girlfriend Becky," Cory was surprised and a smile took over his face he looked at Becky who was a girl no taller than five foot four she looked exactly like Kat Dennings, "The two behind them is Alice the girl is super weird and seems slightly crazy, her boyfriend is the one who looks like he is always in pain Jasper."

Cory looked down at Jessica and glared but since she was looking over at the Cullen's at the moment then she didn't notice but kept talking, "The blonde is Rosalie, Jaspers twin, she is actually single but a total bitch so I wouldn't even try if I was you," Rosalie who had a cold face frowned a little but her face went back to normal, "And lastly is Edward Cullen he is a total hunk, obviously but apparently no one here is good enough for him." she ended in a scoff rolling her eyes but he could tell she was hooked on him.

She turned back to him and smiled, "So what do you say want to eat with me and my friends?"

Cory looked down and gave her a blank stare before looking back up, "ALICE!" he called waving at the girl when she looked up at him, he gave her a smile and moved around Jessica before walking over. The whole place went quite as he walked to their table Alice had a wide smile and was almost bouncing again as he walked over to them.

When he made it over he noticed the only available seat was next to Rosalie, he took it willingly smiling at her, "Oh and how could I forget the beautiful Rosalie, good to see you again," He saw he give him a small smile back before he turned to Jasper, "Of course good to see you too Jasper."

Jasper actually chuckled while Alice giggled, "Hey Cory," She said her smile wide looking at him, "Let me introduce you to everyone else, the big guy here is Emmett and his girlfriend Becky."

"Hey man, how you doin'?" Emmett said while Becky looked between him and Rosalie with interest in her eyes.

"Nice to meet you both." Cory said giving them a small smile, though he was really smiling because of Rosalie who she didn't think that he noticed her moving closer to him in her seat.

"And this is our brother Edward." Alice said still with her happy expression.

Edward though was glaring at him, Cory wondered why but it was the same look he gave Bella so he was assuming that maybe his mind couldn't be read. Then again like he thought he wasn't fully human so it wasn't a surprise, he actually wondered how far it went for their abilities to not work on him.

Cory leaned over and whispered to Rosalie who went a little stiff, "Is it just me or do you think your brother over there has some sort of problem with me?" He asked not knowing what he was doing to her, though he felt that feeling again in his chest when he was close to her.

Rosalie laughed a little and leaned in to him whispering though she knew he could hear every word, "Yeah he might just be constipated and trying to hold it in though."

Cory laughed out loud while Emmett and Jasper were trying their best not to fall out their seats laughing, calming down he whispered back, "Maybe you are right, we should give him a laxative so he can go deal with the problem."

That did it making Emmett hit the table laughing the rest of them joining along, Cory followed but calmed down enough to give them strange look making them realize they shouldn't have laughed. He brushed it off though looking over at Rosalie who was laughing which was throaty and beautiful.

He was really caught up in her and shuddered when she touched his arm trying to hold herself up, though it wasn't from her cold skin but the shock that ran through him when she touched him. Rosalie moved her hand away feeling his shudder but seeing the look in her eyes she put her head down, if she could blush her entire face would be red.

After everyone calmed down after awhile Cory leaned back putting an arm around Rosalie's chair it just felt so natural, "So what do you guys like to do for fun?" he asked looking around the table.

"Shopping and dressing up!" Alice was the first to speak up looking at him with excitement, "Also painting and dancing.... do you like any of those?" she was so excited to have a BFF she didn't let anyone talk.

"All actually, with these good looks its a shame not to shop until I drop and try on as much as I can, and while I can't paint to well I'm good with graphic design that I do for my games. And I have always wanted to learn to dance." Cory said smiling right back at her.

She went to speak again but Emmett spoke up first, "You make games?!" he almost shouted a heated look in his eyes.

"Yeah, there is Fortnight and Aincrad, some other are just random phone games. I'm focusing on those two first before I make more." Cory nodded at him, Alice was glaring at Emmett so Cory went back to her, "Maybe you can help me with painting so I can get better at it?"

She smiled widely at him nodding, "Sounds like a deal when you come over for the project we can set some time aside for us to work on that." Jasper pulled her back when she was moving over the table at her enthusiasm.

Cory chuckled and agreed before looking at Rosalie, "What about you?"

She looked up but it was hard for her to keep eye contact without jumping into his embrace, "Well I like to work on cars or anything mechanical in general, though I don have an eye for design and work on that some."

"Really?" Cory asked looking her over, though he had watched the movies and read the books it didn't mean that he knew everything about them he didn't research this series that much.

She actually looked a little shy, "Yeah... it is just something with working on something mechanical that makes me feel at peace it is why I do it so much. Why is there something weird about that?"

"No that's actually really cool, I know nothing about stuff like that, hell once in New York when I broke down on the side of the road I thought about torching the car just cause it broke down." He said smiling at the memory.

"What was wrong with it?" she asked with interest.

"Ahh," He actually looked embarrassed making her want to know even more, when he saw the smile she gave him he couldn't hold it in, "Flat tire." his face went hard as she laughed out loud along with everyone else but his eyes were soft when he looked over at her. "Har Har, very funny." He said rolling his eyes.

Since they started laughing he took out his food and started eating, when they settled down they watched as he ate which made him a little freaked out but he shrugged it off. Edward had went from glaring at him to Bella who looked at their table every now and then.

After a fun lunch Cory's last couple of classes were boring until his last on in physics, he saw Rosalie sitting in the back when she saw him she smiled a little. After talking to the teacher he went and sat right next to her, he had been antsy all day but the moment he sat next to her he clamed down.

Even if they didn't get to talk in class he still got to watch her a little the two of them trading glances until the bell rang letting them out for the day. After he told her bye and went to the office to turn in his signed sheet, he was in time to see Edward asking to be moved classes.

Cory walked up behind Bella tapping her shoulder, when she looked back he smiled at her, "Don't worry about him he glared at me today to just hang in there girly."

She smiled back, "Yeah but I think he thought I smell." she took a whiff of her hair.

Cory leaned in sniffing making her eyes go wide, "Nah you are fine smells like mint and strawberry though." he leaned back smiling at her and handed in his sheet, "Anyway I'm Cory Chase, you are?"

"Bella Swan, thanks for that I think." She said after handing hers in and followed him out.

"No trouble, I'm new here too as you saw we all need reliable friends so just come to me if you need something." Cory knowing that it was a world of vampires and that she would be one didn't mind being her friend plus Kristen Stewart was his celebrity crush.

"Thanks that sounds nice, most the guys here came off a little to intensely when they introduced themselves." She said as they came out the school she looked to the Cullen's who were watching them. Cory waved and smiled at them getting some in return, "So you spent lunch with them I saw, what are they like?" she asked seeing their interaction.

"Well Emmett is loud but just think of him as a giant teddy bear, Becky although we didn't talk much I can tell she is nice and a loyal person. Jasper though quiet is actually someone I can see myself having a beer with, while Alice though having enough energy to run someone into the ground is the funniest and most adorable person I have met." Cory said smiling wistfully.

"What about Rosalie and Edward?" She asked almost impatiently when she said Edward.

"Rosalie," He paused looking at her their eyes meeting before he looked away quickly, "She is amazing, fun to talk to, beautiful, plus she knows mechanical work how badass is that. Me and Edward didn't talk much though he just glared." Cory finished he had to calm himself not to say so much about Rosalie quickly moving on to Edward.

Bella though stopped listening and when he went to say bye that's when she snapped out of it waving at him before leaving herself. What Cory didn't see was all the Cullen's minus Edward smiling at him, they like the descriptions most of them though started teasing Rosalie.
