"Hmm, advance ability requires a higher amount of potential and utility points, although my utility points are high enough but potential points are still lacking, i might be able upgrade all abilities of mine to level Max but having the perfect buff is not possible at all, let's just upgrade the one i require the most for now." Sheyan spoke and clicked on advanced close range ability.
'I don't use close range attacks usually but now i have liquid metal which can deal true damage when used as a close range weapon if i ever met a tacky opponent this ability will surely come in handy.' Sheyan thought before clicking on upgrading the ability.

'A very rare bonus, i remember there were four grades for bonuses. Common, rare, very rare and a miracle. I want the miracle effect for all Abilities.' Sheyan thought and selected option c.
He then used 1000 utility points to decrease the level of his ability back to lvl 3 and selected to upgrade it once again.

Sheyan once again selected option c and degraded his ability before leveling it up.

"Now level 5." Sheyan spoke and clicked on upgrading once again.

Sheyan clicked on yes.

'except for lvl 4, 7 and 9 all levels will give a common bonus, doesn't matter how many times i degrade and upgrade them. 25% increase in attack speed is already very good. Let's keep going.' Sheyan thought and clicked on upgrading once again.

Sheyan clicked on yes once again.

Sheyan upgraded his ability once again, using 15000 utility points and 25 potential points.
He got two common and one very rare bonus, Sheyan randomly selected one and degraded his ability.
He repeated the action 2 more times and finally got what he desired.
[ 20% chance to inflict double amount of damage when doing a close range attack. (Miracle bonus, 0.1% chance to appear when upgrading the advanced ability to lvl 7.) ]
Sheyan selected it directly.
"Buff i got when i upgraded my ability to lvl 4 and this one i received just now can stack that means i have 30% chance to deal double amount of damage by close range attacks." Sheyan spoke in a voice full of excitement.
He upgraded his ability once again using 20000 utility points and 50 potential points.
The bonus he received this time was once again 25% increase in attack speed.
Sheyan upgraded his ability to lvl 9 this time and got all three common bonuses so he degraded the ability and Repeated the progress 3 more times and finally got a miracle bonus.

"Hahahaha again this effect, with this almost all my close range attacks will deal double amount of damage, and it's gonna be true damage at that." Sheyan laughed loudly and selected the option.
"Now the final level, let's see what I will get." Sheyan spoke after calming down and clicked on upgrading once again.
It required a fee of 50000 utility points and 100 potential points to upgrade the ability to lvl 10. An astounding number for any Contestant.
"Damn, i never expected it to cost this much, no wonder no one will upgrade his abilities like me, i will have to get more potential points somehow." Sheyan cursed after he saw how many potential points were required to level up his ability to lvl 10.
Potential points were way more harder to get compared to Utility points, normally a contestant earns only 3 to 10 potential points after experiencing one world. Having so many potential points at his disposal after just one world is possible only for Sheyan.

[ You get a miracle buff. All blunt close range attacks will stun the target for 3 to 5 seconds, All slicing/piercing close range attacks will inflict a bleeding state on the target. Target will lose 50HP/5sec for a total of 30 seconds. These effects take high precedence. ]
"Great, i like this bonus, with this my close range ability has been upgraded to max level. Although it took a total of 545 potential points to do it." Sheyan spoke.
"I can upgrade one more ability to max level with all miracle bonuses with my current potential points if my luck stays the same." Sheyan spoke after checking his remaining potential points.
He selected long range combat ability to upgrade this time.
After upgrading his ability to level Max, he got these bonuses.
Critical damage +50% on lvl 4, attack speed +20% on lvl 5, reload time -10% on lvl 6, armour piercing+50% on lvl 7, attack speed +30% on lvl 8, accuracy +70% on lvl 9 and 20% chance to turn long range damage into true damage on lvl 10.
After this, all his potential points were exhausted but his combat power once again reached an all time high.
'Okay let's go to the real world now, i got to deal with some troubles as Sheyan there.' Sheyan thought and asked his nightmare Imprint to send him back to the real world.

[ The equipment/items you have acquired in the nightmare realm have been forcibly retained and kept in your personal room. It will be returned upon your arrival back to the nightmare realm. ]

Sheyan smiled at the second paragraph, his equipment is stored in his personal system space and the nightmare realm can't retain them at all. No Contestant can take equipment to the real world but Sheyan is an exception.
'oh right i remember, there is a type of equipment which can be brought to the real world by any Contestant, it's called soul equipment, a soul equipment drops when a contestant dies in nightmare world. Each soul equipment is locked, it can be activated only after you complete a mission, which is usually the last wish of the contestant who dropped the equipment. Original Sheyan got a soul equipment in pirates of the carribbean world, Anyways it doesn't matter to me i can bring all equipment to the real world with my system.' Sheyan thought.
After the notification, a pitch black door appeared in front of Sheyan and opened itself.
Ahead of Sheyan was a corridor, and an endless pitch-black staircase. He smiled and gently started walking up. Not long later a ray of light flashed into his eyes, after climbing another few steps, Sheyan could breathe in cool air!
Dim and lofty lights, concrete and revised steps and an incomplete and messy construction railing! the floor was drenched with fresh blood, and Sheyan had distinct injuries on his body.
"This should be the place original Sheyan was being hunted by huashan fei's men before the nightmare realm took him in as a contestant." Sheyan spoke.
Sheyan remembered reading this in the novel.
Orginal Sheyan lived in a small town on a small island with his little brother Sanji and his uncle Dazi, Dazi is a honest man, he is single and never found a spouse because when he was young a fortune teller told him that he will be alone for his whole life, he didn't want to marry only to lose his wife so he never married. He adopted Sheyan and Sanji when they were babies and loved them just like a father but never let them call himself father, because of the words from the fortune teller. All three of them are fishermen, although Sheyan once got enlisted in navy and even managed to reach a pretty good rank but he came back to this small town to take care of his uncle Dazi. They were living happily till now but last night uncle Dazi, Sheyan, Sanji and 3 more fishermen managed to capture a sperm whale, because of excessive hunting, it has become a rare species in the China sea. One of the fishermen decided to secretly sell the whale to huashan fei the local big boss of this town but huashen fei wasn't an honest dude, he gave just one hundred dollars to the fisherman. Fisherman spoke out of line in dissatisfaction which resulted in thrashing, uncle Dazi got the news and went to persuade huashen fei with other fishermen to let the greedy fisherman go, but things happened and a very important guest of huashen fei got hurt.
Huashen fei had to relieve the anger of his guest so he cut the fingers of uncle Dazi's hand and decided to burn uncle Dazi with his boat fuyuan. The original Sheyan got the news and quickly thought of a plan to save his father figure uncle Dazi. He went to huashan fei's hideout and killed three people and accidentally killed the important guest. He brought the corpse of the important guest to the place where huashen fei, his uncle Dazi, his brother Sanji and other fishermen were. He portrayed that an important guest was still alive and blackmailed huashen fei to release everyone or he will kill the guest.
Huashen fei was fooled by Sheyan's shrewd schemes and acting, Sheyan asked everyone to board the fuyuan and leave the island while he decided to stay, since leaving together will only result in the death of everybody.
Although they didn't want to leave Sheyan but uncle Dazi somehow understood Sheyan's feelings without any words and followed his words and left with others.
Sheyan tried to think of a way to escape but a thug of huashen fei suddenly came from behind and knocked him away.
Sheyan ran away from the place and found a bike to escape as far as possible.
Huashen fei found out that the Sheyan fooled him with a corpse and put a bounty of 500000 dollars on Sheyan's head.
All of his thugs pursued Sheyan. Sheyan's bike stopped working in front of a half finished building, he quickly ran inside. Others followed him in. With his quick thinking he managed to kill two more thugs and almost escaped but in previous scruffles he already had many injuries and even a bullet wound on his chest, two thugs finally managed to tackle him. While they were falling from stairs suddenly a magical scene happened, everyone and everything stopped moving except Sheyan.
Sheyan looked around, everything was pitch black, two thugs which were holding him down suddenly started to age at a speed visible to the human eye and soon turned into bones, even their bones turned into dust and flew away with wind.
A mysterious door appeared in front of him and a deep and ancient voice sounded from the door.
[ This is the nightmare realm! A mystical and mysterious place! ]
[ This place can satisfy your heart's wishes, if you can pass the test given to you, its rewards will be unimaginable! ]
[ However if you are fearful, then leave! If you want to fulfill your heart's desire, then step forward! ]
Sheyan heard the voice and laughed out loudly before stepping inside, The nightmare realm sent him to Terminator world but somehow in the middle Seaman's (the current Sheyan) soul took over his body.
