In One Piece with a Semi Aquatic Mammal

I woke up with a headache, and I started wondering why I was waking up on the ground. As I stood up, something felt really wrong. 'Well, I wasn't aware that I was a giant. Before my black out I was 1,70m pretty much below average height, but now I'm at least 3m tall.'

As I started looking around, I recognised where I was. It was almost impossible not to realise where I was because I only knew one place with waterways everywhere and dinosaur taxis.

'Awesome, I'm in water 7 in One Piece.'

Some people might wonder why I wasn't wondering if this was a dream or if I'm in a coma, well my thought process that even if this was a dream it's an amazing dream so I was going to live this life or dream to the fullest, if it's real life then I had an amazing life.

'Why can't I remember my name.' I can't remember anything personal, not my family, friends. I couldn't even remember if I had a family. It also blurred my memory of one piece as if I watched it years ago, even though I watched the latest episode.

I walked over to the water to see what I looked like. 'Yes!!! Esacnor, I looked like Escanor during the day and with his awesome mustache.' I was overjoyed, Escanor was awesome.

'Why am I only wearing pants and shoes? Well atleast I have a good upper body.

As I was remembering something, in the memory I was eating a devil fruit and my body started changing and knowledge entered my mind I had eaten the Cat-Cat fruit model: Appoplexian, As in Rath from Ben 10.

'I am loving life right now. It's about time that I investigate my surroundings.'

I was walking toward the sea, and I enjoyed every moment of the beautiful island.

"Yihaa!"

Following the voice, I spotted a straw hat turning the corner. 'Well, that was definitely Luffy, which means the straw hats have just arrived.' I couldn't remember exactly what happened, but I remembered Robin left the crew and that Usopp was attacked.

'Moving on.' I kept moving towards the docks. After walking a while I spotted a familiar ship, the Going Merry.

I heard shouts coming from the ship, because of my height I could easily see what was going on. Zoro was sitting down while people who I now recognized as being from the Franky family, a local criminal group. 'I seem to remember things that are not spoilers also, that's pretty useful.'

"Do you need any help?" I asked Zoro, but just as I asked, Zoro moved, defeating everyone.

"I guess you have it under control. You didn't kill them, did you?"

"Why, you don't like killing?" Zoro asked, staring me in the eyes.

"I don't like people who kill when it's not needed." I said, staring back at him.

*heh* "guess we agree on that, don't worry I couldn't call myself a swordmaster if I couldn't slash without cutting so don't worry they're fine."

I smiled at him. "Good, I wasn't wrong about you."

"huh?" Zoro looked at me strangely.

"Ah, it's nothing. So you want to have a friendly spar." I smiled at him with building excitement. I could see that he wanted to accept, but then he sighed.

"Can't I'm guarding the ship and waiting for a shipwright to check the ship."

" I understand, well I'll see you around, the name's Escanor, by the way."

"I'm Zoro. Next time we'll have that spar."

After that I started walking, but I turned around when I heard someone land in front of the ship, it was the shipwright. I waited for him to finish checking over the ship. I recognised him. His name was Kaku, I think. I remembered little about him other than that he was strong.

I stopped him before he could jump away. "Wait, you're a shipwright?" He nodded. "You look strong, how about you join my crew?" He looked at me, taken aback. "Haha. Sorry, but I already have a job I like, mister…" "My name's Escanor. Well, if you ever don't have a job you like, come find me." "I'm Kaku and thanks for the offer, but I doubt that will happen."

I turned around and waved at them. "See you around Kaku."

This time I left for real. As I was walking down the street, I saw the absolutely last person or semi aquatic egg-laying mammal of action I was expecting to see.

"Perry the platypus, is that you."

*PERRY POV*

My eye snapped open, and I immediately jumped to my feet, but instead of just landing, it launched me high into the air. 'I'm a lot stronger than I remember, I need to get used to fast if I'm somewhere dangerous.'

I jumped to the roof, getting more and more used to my newfound strength while also checking my surroundings.

'I'm not just stronger I feel like something else is different, I can feel something like electricity running through my body.' I started looking around.

'I have never seen a place like this anywhere on earth. The houses seemed to be built in an old style but they're new, people even dressed In clothes that seem to fit in the 1700s'

The only upside that I could see was that it didn't seem like I was in any danger. I jumped down on the ground. When I landed, I heard someone from behind me.

"Perry the platypus, is that you.

I turned around, ready for a fight. In front of me stood an absolutely giant man, that seemed to be made of muscles, but I didn't feel any threat coming from him.

'Why do I trust him immediately.'

It felt as if he was a leader and that I could trust him and that I should follow him. I was still on guard, but I trusted my senses that he wasn't a threat.

"How do you know who I am?" my mind was racing. 'Why can I talk, it's one thing to wake up in a strange place, I'm a lot stronger and I can talk. I need to figure out where I am and who did this.'

"Perry! You need to calm down, I can help explain where you are and I have basic theories about how we got here."

'He can read my mind.'

The man knelt down in front of me. "Perry, take a breath. We seem to have some sort of connection, that's why I can understand what you're worried about."

When I took a breath and calmed down I could feel what he was talking about.

"I can feel your emotions, is that what you mean?"

"Yeah, I could feel your worry and guessed what it was about."

"At least that does make some sense. Now can you tell me where we are and how you know me?

"Okay, but first follow me." he jumped up to the nearest rooftop.

When we landed he sat down and I joined him.

"Well first, my name is Escanor, I came from an earth similar but also very different from Yours.

In my world there is a tv show called… Eh It was called… It's like my memory about that show is mostly gone, but in that show there was a platypus who fought against an evil scientist and his name was Perry." I stared at him for a few seconds.

"So you're saying that my entire world is just a tv show?"

"No. In my world there are a lot of theories about different worlds and worlds for story's, but I always thought that if those worlds exist, they inspired the story, not the other way around."

I felt relieved, I didn't like the idea of my life being just a story.

"So do you know where we are?"

"We are in the world of One Piece, It's a story about a pirate named Monkey D. Luffy and his friends and their adventures around the world."

"So you know the story that's useful."

"Ehem, well I can't really remember the storyline, only the basics of the arcs and some of the characters. I can't even remember most of my own life."

I could feel his happiness dim. "I don't remember a lot about my life as well." he smiled at me.

"Well moving on, in this world there are many things different from our worlds, the peak potential of everyone is many many times higher here."

That made sense. "I noticed that I'm stronger now than I could ever be in my world."

"There's so many different things in this world, I won't be able to explain everything, I will go over the basics and then you will have to find out about it yourself."

I nodding at him. "I'm grateful for your help."

"Okay, first of In this world there are 3 major powers, the first is the World Government and the Marines, most civilians think that they fight for justice and many of the marines do, but the thing is that the world government doesn't care about justice all they care about is that they stay in power, they even turn a blind eye to slavery.

The second power is the revolutionary army is pretty much what they sound like they are revolutionaries, I don't really remember much about them but they seem better than the World government.

And then there is the third power and the most chaotic group of the three, the pirates. There are two types of pirates in this world.

The first are Peace Mains is a pirate who would most likely have been called adventurers in our worlds.

That is not to say that they would not steal and fight other pirates at all, but their primary goal isn't power or money, and greed is not their motivation. More often than not, a peace main pirate sees his or her own crew as their most valuable treasure.

The other kind is Morganeers and Morganeers are what we would say pirates are. They fight for treasure and personal ambition. They are greedy, love to fight, and often enjoy causing other people pain and misery."

I thought over what Escanor said. "This world seems really violent and disturbing."

"You're not wrong, but there are also a lot of amazing people and things in this world. I want to experience and meet those amazing things and people."

"When there is a lot of darkness there is a lot of light as well."

He gave me a genuine smile. "You're right. So do you have any idea what you want to do?"

"No, why don't you tell me more about your plans."

"Alright, my plan is to become a pirate and find a crew to go on an adventure with."

"That would be nice."

"So why don't you join me and be my first mate?"

"what?"

"Yeah join my crew as my first mate and together we will have the most amazing adventure possible."

I looked at him for a second and then I looked away smiling. "You are a very strange person, Escanor."

"Haha, I will take that as a compliment. So will you join my crew?"

I sat thinking for a few minutes and Escanor sat there with me.

"So as your first mate, what are my responsibilities."

His smile grew. "As the first mate, you are second in command, if I'm away then you're in charge, if I'm doing a bad job as captain it's your job to set me straight."

"aye aye captain." I said saluting and smirking at him.

He rolled his eyes.

"Welcome to the crew Perry."
