2 Chapter 2: Surprise Champion
*ESCANOR POV*
As Perry and I were walking around, I asked Perry. "Do you have any idea why you can talk?"
"No, when I woke up, I was stronger and I felt something like electricity running through my body."
"That makes sense." I said
Perry looked at me confused. "It does?"
"Yeah, you're a Mink, they are humanoids with animal features and they can produce electric shocks known as Electro from their bodies.
"Do you know how they do it?" He asked.
"Not a clue, You'll have to find that out by yourself."
We continued walking in silence. After a while I got bored and decided to annoy Perry. I started singing at the top of my lungs.
"He's a semi aquatic
Egg-laying mammal of action

He's a furry little flatfoot
Who never flinched

People around us were staring at me, who could blame them. A 3.25 meter tall man singing at the top of his lungs must have been quite the sight. Perry looked as if he wanted to be anywhere but here.
"Why did you have to know that song?"
"How could I not know your theme song."
"Just please stop singing it."
"Perry, you shouldn't feel ashamed of your theme, it's an awesome theme song."
"Shut up."
"Fine, I promise I won't sing it anymore." I smiled mischievously. 'unless I want to embarrass you of course.'
Perry looked at me suspiciously.
When we turned the corner, we saw a group of people surrounding something. 'Shit, I totally forgot about Usopp.'
I rushed forward and moved people out of the way to get to the middle of the group. I saw Nami and a hurt Usopp. "What happened to him?"
"The Franky family attacked and robbed him." Nami bit out through clenched teeth.
"What's your name, I'm Escanor."
"I'm Nami, can you please watch Usopp? I need to tell the others what happened."
"Of course."
Later, Usopp stood up and started limping away. "Usopp, where are you going." I stood and started following him.
"I need to get the money back, we need it to fix the merry."
"let the others get the money back, you're already hurt."
"NO! I need to get the money back myself, I can't keep being a burden to I need to get stronger and stop being such a coward."
*sigh* "Fine, but at least let me help you."
"No. I need to do this alone to prove to them and me I'm more than a coward and a burden."
I stayed silent, I could understand that Usopp felt he needed to do this himself, but I still didn't like it.
Usopp was on his way into the Franky' house.
"Shouldn't we stop him."
"No. We won't interfere. He needs to do this himself, but I want you to get him before they hurt him to bad."
Later when the Straw hats came Perry, and I sat beside an unconscious Usopp, Perry knew some first aid and had bandaged Usopp.
"What happened here, Escanor?" Zoro asked. Gripping his sword, all of them looked ready to murder.
"Usopp said he needed to prove to you and himself that he wasn't just a burden and a coward."
"Why didn't you stop him!?" Chopper screamed.
"Because he was right. He needed to prove it to himself." I answered him.
"He could have died!"
"We stopped them before it could go that far."
The others weren't happy, but they understood.
The Straw Hats were walking towards the Franky house and Perry and I sat and watched as they attacked.
"Who dares attack the Franky family." I heard a familiar voice from behind me. When I turned around, I saw a woman with pink, spiky hair and a pair of massive gauntlets standing there looking at me.
'Vi? What is a League of Legends champion doing here, did she come here like Perry and me. I don't feel a connection like I did with Perry, has she lived in this world her whole life? If she has, does that mean that there are more champions like her around the world?' But those were questions for later.
"Are you with the Franky family?" I asked her.
"No, I'm friends with Franky and I will stop anyone trying to destroy his house while he is away."
"I can't let you do that, they need to pay for their actions."
"Eat this!" She used rockets in one of her gauntlets to charge at me and punched at me with the other gauntlet. I grabbed her gauntlet with my hand.
I smashed my fist into her face, holding on to her gauntlet. She flew back, after less than a second she stood back up and rushed back at me and her other gauntlet started steaming.
"Denting Blows"
I let her punch me, because I know my devil fruit gives me extremely high durability and I wanted to test her strength.
When her gauntlet hit me steam exploded out of her gauntlet and into my chest, knocking me back a few meters, but I was still on my feet.
'that was a powerful blow. If she had hit Perry, who focuses more on speed than durability and strength, with that attack she would have done some serious damage.
She looked shocked at me when I stood there unaffected by what was probably her strongest attack.
I charge her at full speed.
"LARITET"
I slam my arm across her throat. She slammed into the floor. As she tries to get up I grab her around her waist and jump into the air.
"SUPLEX"
In the air, I spin backwards and slam Vi into the ground. As I stand up, I look down at Vi.
"Well, she's down."
"No shit. So did you at least enjoy it."
"It was a good fight. She was stronger than I thought she would be."
When I finished my fight, the others were finished demolishing the Franky house.
"Perry, let's leave."
We were on our way to see Iceberg about the price of a ship.
On the way we did some more sightseeing, looking at clothes, I wanted to buy a hat for Perry but I didn't have any money, That's why I wanted to ask Iceberg about the price so I know what I'm working towards.
