There was a novel that had the same military synopsis in trial read and is very interesting just that it was an individual system but webnovel did not pick it. webnovel please 🙏😭 pick this even after the trial and voting section so that the author's won't stop posting immediately it's not picked. it's so frustrating reading an interesting novel and you see it stopped at 40, also knowing the reason why it was no longer being updated... please 🥺

Got too cringey and absurd to read and had to drop. Even when compared to the generic absurd stuff we see in Chinese mass produced imitation light novels in this platform (there are also original and generic professional/amateur Chinese novels that are awesome), it is more cringy and absurd. Oververly optimistic cliche plot, face-slapping, absurd OP system, China-first propaganda/patriotism/heroism, it has it all those stuff. It is even more absurd and cringing because author chose the world build as a parallel modern world, with modern firearms, vehicles and battle tactics, so the illogical things, plotholes and cartoonish stupidity stands out more.It definitely doesn't deserve the high rating of almost five star everyone gave it. I rated it a little low to balance the rating. It should be 3.5 best. Please people have a little standard while rating. Because best you can say about this novel is passable or good. There are excellent and unique works out there so how would you rate them if you rate this five star?!! Giving an average work full mark is not being kind and encouraging to the author. It is being dishonest, potentially wasting people's time/money/expectations and it also does harm to the author because an honest review and criticism can help them grow and keep their head in reality.

A classic underdog situation! The worst company! Made fun of and bullied by all the others! And yet, this new commander will gain the respect of the soldiers, and turn the worst unit into the best one! With enough pride, hard work, and bravery, even-- Oh. Or you could just have the system solve everything, I guess. ...Good job? Also, I'm getting the feel that this is a fanfic of something I don't know the source material of.

Everything is given by the system. If the system only guided him then maybe I could read but now for me it's unreadable. He got the system and immediately got his physique strenghtened, skills and other stuff. He can also strenghten his soldier physiques by buying potions with skill points.

im thinking of something special for this one, Third battle scene The battlefield was like nothing the world had ever seen before. The armies were not made up of men and women, but of machines. On one side stood the army of the United States, their machines towering over the battlefield like giants. They were the creators of the most advanced technology in the world, and they had come to defend their homeland. On the other side stood the army of the enemy, their machines just as fearsome and deadly. They had come to conquer, to take what was not theirs and destroy anything in their way. The machines clashed, their weapons firing with deafening roars. The ground shook beneath their feet as they charged forward, the air filled with the sound of grinding metal and the stench of burning oil. The leader of the enemy army, General Yuan, watched from a distance as the battle raged on. He knew that the odds were not in his favor, but he refused to give up. He had promised his people that he would conquer the United States, and he would not let them down. As he watched the battle, he noticed a machine unlike any other. It was piloted by a lone figure, a man known only as the Maverick. The machine moved with a grace and speed that General Yuan had never seen before, its weapons striking with deadly accuracy. General Yuan knew that he had to act fast. He ordered his own machine to attack the Maverick, hoping to take down the United States' greatest weapon. The two machines clashed, their weapons firing with blinding speed. The Maverick fought with all his might, dodging and weaving around enemy attacks, his own weapons striking with deadly precision. But General Yuan was not so easily defeated. He was a skilled pilot, his machine larger and more powerful than any other. He fought with a ferocity that matched the Maverick's, his own weapons striking with deadly accuracy. In the end, it was the Maverick who emerged victorious. With a final blow, he struck down General Yuan's machine, its destruction sending shockwaves across the battlefield. As the battle raged on around them, the Maverick and General Yuan faced each other. For a moment, there was silence. "I may have lost this battle," General Yuan said, his voice filled with defeat. "But the war is not over. We will return, and we will conquer." The Maverick looked at him, a look of sadness in his eyes. "I hope not," he said. "I hope that one day, we can live in a world without war. A world where machines are not used to destroy, but to create." The battle was won, but at a heavy cost. Both sides had lost many brave soldiers and machines in the fight, and the scars of the battle would remain for years to come. But perhaps, as the Maverick had hoped, there would come a day when machines could be used for good, and the horrors of war could be left behind.

There's quite a bit of mistakes in even remembering the amount of numbers that you may as well take it with a grain of salt and ignore the numbers for the sake of your sanity. Just take it as 'you don't have enough' and 'you have enough' because that's all it amounts to. As best as I can see it, this story is a somewhat cleaned up MTL translation without a good editor so far as of chapter 21: Names aren't changing and nobody got mistaken as a different gender yet. Any references that indicate an 'I', 'he/she' or 'they' are sometimes incorrect. As I have only read a bit so far, other than rating the writing quality as below average, everything else is considered as 'fine, I guess...' or 'I've read worse.' level.

let's get the bad thing out of the way: the translation was, very likely, made by a translation program, it's not totally bad but it could be a lot better soooo... yeah... that will put off alot of people. The story itself is good, not great but pretty solid (i'm on chapter 187, as of writting), the system is actually kinda of interesting tbh, you can say it's a symbiote system, the better he trains the soldiers under is the command, and the more they develop, the more points the MC get to use in the store and the more he develops himself. The MC can be called OP, but that is so far, in his parte of the country, the system goes from power lvl 1 to 100( 100 being apex special forces) and it tells him there are people at 100 in the world, of course the system gives him the uper hand with the skills he can unlock, where special forces op need 20 years to get the skills he as in the chapter i am, 187, he was given the ones he as as a system gift and he then invested point to make the better, but to do that he had to train alot of soldiers so it isn't easy for him to get the skills, and if he does a bad job at it and doesn't get anything. The characters are interesting and the "why" of things being the way they are are explain as the story goes forward. To sum it up: decent story but not for every one.

Skelatron
SkelatronLv15Skelatron

first chapter is he gets the system. second chapter is he gets unearned Op skills. a whole list of then. then a arbitrary number for skilk points with no idea for valuation. if you got a system today. and you saw your first misson say 10,000 skill points would you think thats high? probably is if your refrence point is 1 skill point raises your stats by 1 each. but there is no other information given that tells us that its high other than our MC just saying "oh, thats a high reward" how does he know? is there a universal power scale? if you want a brain dead novel read. this is for you

read over 500 ch+ **spoliers** and a rant. so I like military novels which probably honestly what kept me on the this book for so long because it has a lot of cons. still don't understand the premise that mc transmigrates into different world, and he had been in the body for 5 yrs before the start, and then there is a mention of a movie that has the members of battle wolf which is suppse to help with some foreshadowing. and when mc meets the characters he slips up by recognizes their face , he c9vers it up but after that and normal interaction there is no need for this back story. because mc has an op system. now the system was at the for front at the first few arcs building his strength and spoilers but at some point it was at the back, and mc is honestly to op. the system help him gain his strength and useful items and his cheats like his radar but if I the situations it makes no sense. for example the meteorite and he uses system to get glue protector and mc doesn't really have a back story of being smart or research but still explain he created it. when he return the military he to hand it over he leave and comes back with a bucket of the "glue" he made . FROM WHERE his base has moved ,logically it has holes. his cheats has holes, his items has holes. the other con is this is too patriotic with a heavy stance of others. now I get the patriotism but if you read some novels you get the undertones but when a book is to heavy on it ,....it's harder read. another con is repetitive lines like in 3 chps you would of had the mc in a conversation with a side character and scene is the same but he repeats the same thing. it's hard to explain but once you read the book you may understand what I getting at [hospital scene with brother family]"we will complete the mission " "if you say that again you don't take me as family" " brothers this brother's that"(and I get the context of brothers mean but in dialogue it's a repetitive dialogue) another con is side characters lack substance his love intrest childhood friend , relationship progression is weird, he goes from turning her down since he never felt love on both lives, she stops him with a kiss, she runs to her house, they don't have words but next day suddenly they confirm their relationship. they get married but honestly no fluff, and there is a hidden tone that his female captain other person from the "movie about battle wolf long ...] supose to like another member of battle wolf but it has connotations she lowkey developed feelings the way she worries about him is annoying after not liking him in the beginning, and since mc mentions her supposed love interest there is no information about that in his present timeline since he took over and we are 500chps in. after all the chps I read the arc are becoming relative aroun d battle wolf, the soliders rely too heavy of mc, female captain doesn't fight,mc doesn't all the planning and training. long rant but I'm getting bored and you can't say I didn't give it a try a binge until 500ch+.
