Would they still be together now that they are on different sides? Would the threat of war and betrayal defeat their will? What would they give up for one another? -- A shot, a zipping aimed at her and she lifted her injured arm to block it. Another and she was forced to let go of the killer as she winced from another arrow pierced into her arm. Dropping her arm, she looked at the shooter and her heart dropped. Mouth opened slightly, as if to say something, she could not find any words. Crossbow held facing her, the angel holding it did not waver from the person he was aiming at. The Demon Eve

Eve stood amongst the rubble clutching the box in her hand. Humans were greedy, deceitful, and unworthy to be living. That was what they had told her, but she didn't listen.

[["My lord, my king," they would say, "... these people care not for you; they wish for your destruction."

She would shake her head and continued to make symbols on the dirt.

"Don't you see, my king," her worshippers would frown, "we have given you life amongst the living again. Please, do as you promised."

Promise? Eve did not know what she had promised them.]]

She still doesn't, but she had lived too many lives watching Adam…

Fisting her hand, she looked at the crowd.

Fear, worry, disbelief were soaked into their very bones.

Eve laughed and laughed and laughed.

'You wanted destruction?' she grinned, 'Then it shall be.'

Arm raised up high to the sky, the people could see marks glowing on the girl's body.

"Miss," a man in blue called out as he neared her, "I am an officer. Are you alright?"

Eve looked at the man and tilted her head. Nodding, she sent a sardonic smile. An officer? Where was this officer when that man shot Adam!

The officer stumbled to the ground grabbing his neck to feel blood dripping from his lips.

"Stop that!" his partner shouted and aimed a gun at her, "I will shoot you."

Eve grabbed the officer's face and he screamed almost as loud as she did. His partner shot the bullets.

One by one they enter her body, but she felt nothing. Nothing at all.

Throwing the officer to the one who shot her, she proceeded to walk toward the unexpecting crowd. Many ran off screaming, terrified of what Eve would do. She wasn't worried. Soon, they will all die.

An adult man backed out of the crowd slowly and when the sky started to turn as red as blood, he turned to run. The story was true. The demon Eve lived amongst them and will bring destruction to all.

Within ten minutes, the small town of Hillsdale had fallen.

In an hour, the state of Virginia felt the burning flames of rage.

The whole Eastern states were charred with the smell of flesh on the third day.

Where she walked, death followed.

They tried to stop her, this demon named Eve.

They sent tanks, bombs, missles, and anything they could think of but nothing seemed to work. She continued to survive, continued to kill everything in it's wake.

People prayed hard to their chosen Gods and Goddesses, but there was no savior. No one could stop Eve.

It took a total of five days for all of United States to perish. Even shorter for the rest of the countries.

Barren was the lands now. Barren was her heart.

Bodies littered the ground of where she walked; the screams and pleas did not reach her for she is Eve, she does as she pleased.

Home, she thought as she stood before the cathedral. Shingles were hanging, the lamp post was rusty, and the smell of rotting flesh.

Home.

Entering through the broken doors, the man on the cross stared at her and she stared back.

Walking closer to him, Eve narrowed her eyes at the figure. Majestic even in death.

"Do not get angry with me," she said lowly, "... for it is you who have taken him from me once again."

The space was quiet, save for the dusts that floated in the chapel.

"I have given them too many chances," she said and laughed, "You still blame me?"

She floated closer to the man on the cross. She could smell him inside the ceramic stone, and she wrapped her hand around the neck.

"Was it not you who killed the first borns of those who refused to believe you?" she sneered, "Was it not you who freely gave and take whenever you wish?" she tightened her hold to hear it crack.

"Was it not you who gave no forgiveness to the angel that loved you?" Eve's hold tightened and pieces of the man's face fell off.

"Do not lie," she said softly staring with a blank face, "He no longer loves you."

Closing her hand, the man shattered into pieces tumbling down.

The church, once housed many believers and worshippers for years, now fell. Eve watched as every piece of that cathedral powdered into dust as if the chapel was never there.

An empty plot before her.

"I no longer love you."

Desolation thwarted the land as He watched from above. Those who loved and worshipped him were no longer living. Those who did no longer believed he would save them.

Closing his eyes, he let out a deep breath. He would need to send an angel to combat this destruction, but who?
