'Ahhh!! Huh! Huh!'
Ryou's eyes snapped open. Waking from an unknown nightmare, he's covered in a cold sweat, shaking and heart pounding.
He looked around the room, suspicious and paranoid. 'Where am I? Wait...Who am I?' Confusion clouded his eyes while unfamiliar memories surged into his mind causing him to scream in pain.
After a few seconds of gritting his teeth and enduring the pain, clarity returned to his eyes.
"I am Ryou, I have transmigrated into this world." It took him a few minutes to completely absorb the memory of his predecessor.
The memories become so vivid in his mind as if he had lived another life; more like two souls of a different world fused into one.
He didn't know how the previous owner of this body died as he had no memories regarding that. Just the same, he didn't remember how he died on earth.
[Congratulations, Host, on your successful transmigration! Infinite Anime System is at your service!]
'System?' Ryou called intuitively.
"Yes, Host." The mechanical voice sounded in his mind.
"Where am I?" With the memory, he had a vague guess. But, he needed someone to confirm it.
"As you guessed, you are currently in Demon Slayer world." The system responded, affirming his guess.
Ryou nodded his head and accepted the reality as he wasn't an ordinary person in his previous life.
"System, how did I die on earth?"
"I am sorry, Host. I can't answer your question as your current level and authority are insufficient. If you need to know the answer, complete two or more primary objectives of the system."
"Is there any chance I can return to Earth?" Ryou asked.
"Yes"
Though everything that happened to him is a mystery, that answer is everything he needed.
With a calm mind, he recollected the memories of the previous owner of this body.
His parents died a year back when a demon attacked their home. To protect him, they stayed back and fought bravely before losing their lives. Their sacrifice let the previous owner of the body escape.
Getting up to his feet, Ryou came out of the small wooden house. He was stunned by the breathtaking scenery and fresh air that rejuvenates one's mind.
It was morning, and the sky was clear without any clouds. His wooden house was situated along the hillside with a huge blue lake in the front.
"Ryou, why are you up so late today?" Just as he was enjoying the scenery, a kind voice came from his left.
"Uncle Daishi, Morning. I didn't sleep well last night, so I overslept." Ryou replied with a smile.
"Mn. If you are not feeling well, take a rest for the day." Saying this, Daishi went into his house carrying a bunch of stones.
Uncle Daishi is a kind person and a blacksmith. It was only thanks to him that the previous owner was able to live through today by collecting wood and ores.
Glancing at the thirty or so houses situated around, Ryou walked along the familiar path and hiked the mountain to reach his favorite spot where he usually hangs out.
When he reached it, he saw a cascade waterfall surrounded by rocks on three sides with a small pond below it. 'What a nice place!'
As he neared the pond, Ryou saw his reflection for the first time. He had a pale complexion and an average height of 5'6. He had unruly black hair reaching his shoulders while some bangs slipped above his eyes in an uneven fringe.
He had thin eyebrows with sharp bluish-black eyes that were moderately large. "If I had some muscles and height, it would be perfect!"
After walking around the area and making sure there was no one around, Ryou called the system in his mind. "System, tell me about the functions you have."
"Yes, Host!" The system replied and showed him a status panel.

"To activate the lucky draw, just say the word, 'Spin'." The system voice reminded.
"Spin," Ryou uttered, his tone filled with anticipation.
As the lucky wheel spun before him, his heart raced with excitement. With each rotation, he murmured his desired reward like a mantra, "Sun Breathing Style...Sun Breathing Style...Sun Breathing Style..."
But contrary to his expectation, the lucky wheel stopped at 'Nature Breathing Style' shattering his expectancies.
"Fuck...did I end up with the worst one?" Ryou cursed under his breath and asked the system, "Which reward is considered valuable in the Lucky Draw?"
"It's Armament Haki, as it increases your overall strength. If practiced to the highest level, you can kill Muzan with a single punch." The system responded.
"What's the next valuable one after Armament Haki?" Ryou asked, believing it would be Sun Breathing or Three-tomoe Sharingan.
"It's the Nature Breathing style that the host obtained," the system confirmed.
"What? Really?" Ryou exclaimed in surprise.
"Yes," the system replied. "Nature Breathing Style will help the host to remold your body and improve both your strength and skill. Do you want to obtain the reward?"
"Yes," Ryou replied eagerly. As soon as he gave his affirmation, a flood of information regarding 'Nature Breathing' was imprinted in his mind.
Glancing at the Nature Breathing, Ryou clenched his fist. He didn't expect the breathing style to be so powerful, it's even more powerful than the legendary Sun breathing style created by Yoriichi Tsugikuni himself.
"With this breathing style, I have the power to defeat Muzan!!"
