14 Chapter 14 Close Like long-lost Sisters of Same Mother

As Rex and Lily entered the room, they were shocked, as Jin Wei's room design was quite different from their own.

"Make yourself comfortable," Jin Wei said.

Rex nodded and sat on the comfy round Japanese meditation cushions with Lily beside him.

Jin Wei and Victoria also sat on the opposite side of the tea table. On the tea table, an ancient-design teapot, four cups, and various tea ingredients like different types of tea leaves and sugar were arranged.

The teapot was an auto-made tea machine, and only by putting the ingredients inside, it would make tea automatically in just a few minutes. No need for fire or electricity to work.

So Victoria poured some water and ingredients inside the teapot and tapped on the on button.

"So let us introduce ourselves first. I am Jin Wei, and here is my little wife, Victoria," Jin Wei said with a confident smile as he introduced himself and Victoria.

Victoria was now both embarrassed and angry, so in frustration, she shouted, "I am not your wife."

Jin Wei thought for a moment, then he looked at Rex and Lily like he has realized something and said with a smile, "Oh, yeah, we haven't done our registration yet, but who cares about that shit."

"N-no... N-no, you..." Victoria wanted to complain but quickly stopped as she realized that the more she spoke, the more Jin Wei would tease her.

Lily just chuckled as she listened to their conversation.

"Alright, now that your introduction is over, it's our turn. I am Rex Voss, and she is my childhood friend, Lily. Both of us grew up in the same orphanage," Rex said with a smile.

But hearing the word "friend" disappointed Lily for a moment, but she quickly regained her composure, Rex was unable to notice, but Jin Wei noticed it.

"Haha, don't lie; both of you look more close than just friends. I can see both of you love each other," Jin Wei said in a joking manner, which made both Rex and Lily embarrassed. But hearing this, Lily's earlier disappointment had vanished.

Although she can't hear, she can do lip reading, which helps her understand what others are saying. However, if she doesn't concentrate, she doesn't understand anything.

"N-no... N-no, you got it wrong," Rex replied in an embarrassed tone.

"Haha, only time will tell," Jin Wei said. Then he began to pour tea into the cups, as the tea was already made. And since in the teapot, there was already a strainer inside which filtered the tea, no need for an extra strainer.

After Jin Wei poured tea into all four tea cups, he handed each a cup of tea.

Both Rex and Lily quickly took the cup and began to drink because of the awkwardness, not daring to look at each other.

As time passed, the atmosphere became more relaxed. Rex then told Victoria and Jin Wei about Lily's tragic background.

Which Jin Wei knew very well. But Victoria became very sad as she heard Lily's story. After that, Lilly and Victoria got very close like they were long-lost sisters of the same mother.

And after finishing up the dinner, Rex and Lily finally said their goodbyes and left.

"They were nice people, right?" Jin Wei asked Victoria casually. Victoria just nodded and began to clean the room and do the dishes.

Jin Wei just looked at Victoria and smiled; he liked her more than he thought he would. Before, in his eyes, Victoria was just his favorite character from the novel.

Although he felt a bit attached to her before. But that's all; there was no such thing as emotions involved. But now, as he spent more time with her, Jin Wei felt closer and closer to her. If this goes on, one day he might fall for her.

While Jin Wei was thinking this, Victoria finally finished her work and entered the room.

"Oh, you are done. Come sleep beside me," Jin Wei said as he showed her the bed.

"No, I will not sleep here; change the room back to how it was," Victoria shouted with an angry pout.

"I already told you I won't touch you, unless you're willing, so come, don't be too shy," Jin Wei said with a genuine look and slept on his bed, which was right next to Victoria.

"Humph!!! Who would believe you after what you did with me?" Victoria asked with an angry look.

"Well, your blood was just too tasty so I just got curious what your lips taste like. And I have to agree it was even better," Jin Wei replied with a teasing tone.

Victoria's face turned red as a tomato as she heard his answer. "Beast," Victoria muttered. But Jin Wei just chuckled.

After realizing that she won't be able to make him change the room back to normal, Victoria just pouted angrily and then got up from her bed and used her long bolster to create a border.

"Don't cross this line," Victoria said to Jin Wei and slept on the corner of her bed.

"This girl is really cute," Jin Wei thought and also slept as well after switching the light off.

After a whole night, Jin Wei was now using Victoria as his bolster and sleeping soundly. But instead of Jin Wei being on Victoria's side of the bed, Victoria was on Jin Wei's side, and both of them are sleeping well like a married couple who are already used to each other.

Then suddenly, both of their wristwatches vibrated, and an announcement was made through the wristwatches.

[ All Students get up. The class will start in 40 minutes. ]

As soon as Victoria heard the announcement, she got up, only to find Jin Wei using her as a bolster.

Veins popped up on her forehead as she angrily tried to punch Jin Wei in the head. But before she could, Jin Wei stopped her hand from reaching him.

"Yawn!!!" With a loud yawn, Jin Wei got up from the bed and began to rub his eyes.

"Y-you... Liar, you told me that you won't do anything," Victoria shouted angrily.

Jin Wei looked at her with confusion and replied in a sleepy voice, "What do you mean, I didn't do anything to you."

Victoria just wanted to curse him and beat him up. But she was unable to do it because of his strength.

"Then why were you using me as your bolster?" Victoria asked with anger and withdrew her hand from Jin Wei's grip.

Jin Wei just looked at her and let out a deep breath, "Look around you carefully."

Victoria then looked around and realized she was on his side of the bed, not he. Then embarrassment was all over her face.

But Victoria quickly shook her head and regained her composure then with a pout, she got up from the bed and entered the bathroom with her new uniform. Leaving a still-sleepy Jin Wei alone.
