Snake that looked down on us

"What do we do with our home?" I asked

"Let's dig out a hole and hide it, we can come and pick it up. If we remember."

"Or if we can find it." I add.

Over the years our little improvised shelter had turned to something that looks closer to a castle than a house.

As we have been training our powers we used our home as a practice ,so more powerful we became our castel grow. I won't say it is beautiful we aren't architects ,we built whatever we wanted and we have different tastes so it is bit random.

Anyway I concentrated and engulfed the castle with my telekinesis and lifted it up "OK, I have it. Start digging."

As I say that I can feel Lilly push out her domain, and notice how earth underneath a floating castle starts to part ,and come out to surface.

By the time she is done there are two hills on each side of the castel and a big hole underneath.

"That is deep enough, you can slowly put it down." She says.

I nod as a start to slowly put the castle down. When I am done Lilly starts to fill up a hole where our home of 500 years now resigns.

"You know, I am going to miss that place." I say she looks at me with a smile " Yes me to, but we can always come and get it, once we find a nice place to put it."

I nod "You know I was thinking, what is your opinion on super secret underground cities?" I ask.

"Why, you planing to build one?" she asks.

I humm "Who knows, but we will need a place for our secret base."

She raises an eyebrow at me "Secret base, what are we in a spy movie?" I laugh"Well not right now but in two thousands we might as well be" remembering S.H.I.L.D .

"But now seriously we will need a place where we can rest, leave things we get during our travels ,and where we can do magical resource in piece."

"Yes ,yes I know" She nods "But first we need working runes so we can make words, if we want our sicret base to become sicret."

Agreeing with that statement I sent "Well it should be somewhere around 4800 BCE if my calculations are correct ,so first runes will show up in Mesopotamia and little bit later in Egypt in some thousand years. We should just start traveling, sun is about to come out. Meaning that is east, we should follow it until we gat to the ocean and then we follow the shore."

She nods ,and adds "Let's go in our full cat forms, flying there would be to easy we have a thousand years to kill, and we might run into someone to trade some clothing with"

I smile at that ,we always had an issue with clothing. Transfiguration doesn't last forever and neither of as is good at sewing ,so we had to get used on just some clean animal skin used to make improvisation of toga.

"Let's go!"

We transform and had East.

Few weeks of moving east later. We can smell the sea now.

"Finally, it looks so beautiful." we stand on a hill overlooking the sea ,we can see the waves hitting the beach underneath the hill.

While we were coming near here we noticed few human settlements, but we decided to just avoid them. They seem to have pretty peaceful life, well as peaceful as you can get at this time.

We kept following the shore for a while ,until we noticed some strange clouds gathering.

"Do you feel that?" I asked.

"Yes it feels like when you step in someones domain."

Domains are basically what happens when a magic user spread their mana through their surroundings and mix it with magical energy of the earth enabling them to guide the elements. When a wizard passes through another wizards domain thay can feel it. They can still create their own domain, but we have theorised that if two domains are created in the same area wizard with more powerful, better control an higher affinity for a elements will have the advantage.

Fact that we can feel a domain all the way here is terrifying, Lilly who had put so much time in her elemental magic is limited to a range of 50 metres.

"Do we check it out, or run?" I ask

Lilly gives me a deadpan look "run really?! We are going to take a look!"

"OK, ok. Shees woman I was kidding. Lets go." we have both gotten incredibly bored in this year ,but this was best change of getting strong, so we used it.

We fly towards were clouds are gathering. As we get closer we can see what looks like a small village, and a giant snake flying above it and sending wind and lightning sticks at it.

* So I never asked, but is there a chance that you can speak parseltongue like your son? *

* Yes , I am ,but I don't think that would help in this case, it is calling something they did blasphemy. I think they did something to it.*

* So what do we do with it? If village did something to it ,maybe we just get its. They might learn something. *

* Klaus , I am going to protect the village from lightning and wind attacks, while you chase off the snake. *

* OK I am going. Annoying woman .* * I heard that. *

I transform into my hybrid form and dorp down to earth.

(tired POV)

When Klaus dropped down on earth he started transfiguring dirt into metal spears and charming them to attract lightning.

After he was done with that he launched himself together with those spears towards the snake.

Lilly had already started redirecting attacks in front of the village.

Boom and a loud hiss could be hard as Klaus launched the snake back with his telekinesis and started launching stones towards it.

Snake noticed him and started launching lightning at him ,but he was prepared and used those spears to absorb it.

He kept hitting it with rocks and pushing it with his telekinetic attacks until it hissed for the last time and slithered away.

As I watch the snake slither away, I talk to Lilly
