Bloody Village

After lending, I start walking towards Lilly.

When I get closer she asks "Are you OK?" I nod "Yes that was easier than I expected. Let's catch that village out."

"Yes, there is something strange about it. It is too quiet."

We keep walking towards the village, and as we get inside we can see many wooden huts next to each other. Something is strange there is no noise, no people outside, and smell... "It smells of blood!" Lilly adds.

We speed up ,and start opening huts. They are closed with what looks like animal pelts ,hung above the opening.

As I enter first hut, I see a body on the floor ,there is a lot of blood. I came close to it ,and I can see a wound on its neck, it looks like something took a bite out of it.

When I came out of the hut my senses flare up ,and I can feel a mind that I can only describe as crazed ,coming at me.

I react and put up a telekinetic shild. Something hits it and I turn around to see a human, well if something with glowing red eyes and protruding canines thet is hissing at me can still be called a human.

I use my telekinesis to hold and pick it up. As I hold it in front of me ,and observe it Lilly joins me on my side "So that was making that noise." She asks.

"Yes, it seems to be only one, I just spread my awareness ,and I can't feel any other minds close to us."

"Everyone in the village died a same way. Drained of their blood ,well for the most part there is a lot of it spilled all around." She adds.

"Yes it seems to ba a messy creature. What do you know about vampires from your time?" I ask

"You think this is a vampire." As I nod she continues "I don't think so , from what I read vampires are calm rational creatures for a most part. There is a lot we actually don't know about them, and there is still a debate ,can they use magic or not. Also nobody is sure what happens if they try to turn a non-magical."

"So we know that we don't know much about tham." I say, and continue "This might be something that came before the vampires you know about form you time ,or someone different mutation ,or even what happens to non-magical when they get turned."

She nods at that "You might be right, but we should check out did this happen to anywhere else."

"Well that means we are going on foot. Lets check as many human settlements as we can."

"What are you going to do with that one?" Lilly asks.

I answer her by telekineticly ripping its head off. "World you mind burning the bodies?"

She looks thoughtful for a minute and then says

"You know I just realised that I somehow grow numb to all the killing, and am only feeling pity for their bad luck" She says as she starts to burn the body.

I starts telekineticly gathering the bodies from other huts as I answer her "Well you lived in war most of your childhood, and you are not human anymore."

"You don't feel anything for this?" she looks at me.

"Well I feel bad for them ,but it is not like we could have done anything about it. They were dead long before we came here."

After I am done gathering the villages, Lilly burns the bodies , and after that we move on from the village.
