Life is an illusion

We kept travelling from settlement to settlement for years, searching for any similar creature showing up. We didn't find any.

But on positive note, we finally got to taste human blood, well I drunk some of Lilly while transforming her ,but at that time I didn't pay attention to the taste ,and let me tell you animal blood can't even compete with human.

Things kind got away from us ,so we might have drained few humans. Then there was a lot of crying, someone thinks them self a monster ,Ahm Ahm Lilly , then someone calling someone monster for accepting it to easy.

But, after few years of helping human in this communities prosper, protecting them from animals and magical creatures alike. We came to understand that we might be monster to some extent, but that doesn't mean that we have to let our instincts rule us.

Through the years we spent in living with humans in this part of the world ,some of them had noticed our powers and as shifting, so they came to conclusion that we are some kind of spirits or gods ,and started to worship us. When that started happening we decided that it was time to move on, so we did. We started our path of following the shore.

But most impotent part of this leg of journey is my discovery of my affinity for illusion magic.

Illusion magic is something of a combination of mind magic, or telepathy which is how I discovered it.

Through use of domain and telepathy I managed to create illusions that stay imprinted in magic of the world for some time even if I don't constantly add mana to it.

For exemple if I where to go to desert spread my domain and create and illusions of an oasis. If I retract my domain and leave, if someone walks into it while there is still my magic mixed with world mana. World mana and my magic would work by them self to present that person with that picture, so if they jump into water they would feel wet even if they are rolling in sand.

There are many other things that can be done with illusions magic and it compliments my telepathy and telekinesis really well.

We discovered that mind defense don't even notice when you step into illusions compered to when I try to make someone see something with just my telepathy. Only way to defend against it is to already know you are inside of an illusions ,but that doesn't stop the illusions ,or you can be sensitive to magic and spread your own domain and break the illusions.

Lilly wasn't happy when she found out that she doesn't have aptitude for illusions. She can try to create them but it they never look right, it is really easy to see through them, and they get dispelled as soon as she retract her domain.

Through the years we lived with human we spent time hunting, fighting, celebrating, farming and many other things. This time helped us learn many skills following how humans did it. We learned how to live with nature, something we didn't really have to do all the years we lived thanks to our powers.

Few years after we left the area we were searching for that creature, we run into something interesting. We run into someone using magic.
