What a hidden gem we got here 💕. I enjoy stories with well-executed female leads with strong personalities and this novel have this. Review Proper after reading the latest chapter release, chapter 13. Writing Quality. The narratives are simple and easy to read. The author knows how to use the right to make some scene pact more with emotions. Though there are a few g-errors and some tense mix-ups. You could use Grammarly to help you with polishing your story more. Stability of Updates. Though many would say to update immediately, I prefer quality over quantity. Take your time honing each of your chapters. Story Development. I love the start. We could see how the author emphasizes the ML as being a jerk to our FL. But as the story progresses we could see how the two are growing and developing. Though there is nothing yet that mentions why they divorced. I look forward to knowing that since that would depend if the Male Lead deserves Lucy's forgiveness. Character Design. Story-wise. The characters were greatly portrayed as well especially Lucy. I love her strong persona. And I hope her pain would be healed. She deserves to be happy whatever happened to her. The Male lead, well, my impression of him is still not that build up. He was sorry for the female lead. Yes. He changes. Yes. But I hope this would be more justified as the story progressed. As for the supporting characters, they were already great with distinct characters. Somewhat I am rooting for Lucy and Krish hahaha I don't know why is that 😅. World Background. Well explained. Even it is in a modern CEO set-up there are a lot of things to look out for and fleshed out. Overall after I read so many CEO-type stories, I got fed up with the generic trope with the usual set-up of the ml CEO always been the domineering one. But in this novel that is not the case. Our female lead Lucy is a strong one and I enjoy her attitude a lot. Recommendation? Definitely read this if you're looking for refreshing CEO stories. And I know you would enjoy this. Keep up the great work, author! Added this to my library.

Well Written!! The way the writer balanced the story with past and present is excellent. The environment and character's emotions are well described. The plot was well-paced and it does keeps you on hook to know more about the couple's past story.

This is a wonderful easy read. It's a nice plot where the MCs have role reversal this time. It's utterly cute to read a book where the sweet heroine had gone ice-cold while the cold arrogant CEO thawed his personality to win back the love of his life. Good writing. Some editing needed. Smooth flow. Well described characters. I'm enjoying this and can't wait to finish the book. I want to see how icy Lucy melts under Li Xuan's redemption attempt of owning love this time.

Hello there, So, I might be late for the review but let me tell you, I really enjoyed this story. It felt as if I was watching some Chinese Drama. The strong female lead is just my favourite and then comes our male lead who had great character development throughout the series. From a jerk to a gentleman.👏 Absolutely love it. And the secretary of the FL is so funny and relatable, as well as Krish ( I hope I am writing the right name)when he first appeared I thought he might be a jerk but turns out he is her Best friend. And the cute baby we have here is just so sweet and angel-like, that I just want to protect her!!🤧 As for the writing quality, It was great, I didn't have any problem thought the read. As for the update, I think looking at the quality of the book, updating in 2 days is a wise thing. The world background, was all in China so it was all easy to imagine. The story plot was a common one, an arrogant lead who turns soft for the FL, and the soft FL becomes cold. (I have read 100 of comics like this and I live in India so, the dramas here are mostly in this themes,) but still, your story stands out of all. And yeah I have this in my collection, so I will be waiting for more updates!!! So now the last but not least, Good work Author!! May you get success soon!

At first you have the must increasable synopses I have ever read in Webnovel, that kind that turn me on to read the whole story. I love the turning point of the main character and being "cold blood". it is a very different start for CEO novel. If your kind of stories (love- hate in relationship) that novel well be you masterpiece. I am looking for more chapters. great book Highly recommended.

The synopsis got me right away! I'm not a fan of arrogant ML but I really like how Li Xuan changed for the better😁 The story is so beautiful and I can't wait to see how it will progress! Though they have such a painful and shameful past, I wish them a happy ending as it seems like they still love each other truly😇 Will surely follow up this story!
