Preparations To Open The Veil

My head still felt like someone was hitting me in the head over and over again with a hammer, yet I dealt with pain and then grabbed the obvious grimoire given the three hounds on it, aswell as the eye in the center of the book. I eagerly opened the book and turned to the very first page and began to read the contents of the book.

To the surviving member of my ilk I leave my grimoire filled with various rituals, spells, curses and many other forms of magic that you will have a affinity for will be in this book to facilitate and hasten your growth to ascend to the position that you were predestined for you. I know how you had a fixation of what many to believe fantasies and talk tales, but soon as long as you read what's within this book you will have everything you ever wanted Mason.

[POV Mason's Room]

"H.how did whatever wrote this know my name... unless they could see the future like wheoever wrote this subtly implied."

Mason Pines mumbled to himself while he had a expression of pure disbelief,surprise, and even excitement mixed within.

"Then it should be possible for me to see the future!" The boy excitedly exclaimed, while he eagerly turned the page to read more of the contents the book held.

The boys eyes hungrily scanned and analyzed what the mysterious text that was in a language unfamiliar to the teen.

Piercing The Veil

This is the most important tool for any and all magic users; piercing the veil doesn't involve piercing anything unless that's how you'd wish to perceive how you trigger the ability to see mana. Mana is usually percieved in various particles, after this it's possible for the user to learn how to perceive souls due to all souls hold some sort of mana to be able to linger in the physical plane. But for now to be able to perceive mana you could perform a ritual for a greater mana sense allowing you to sense any being with a soul of some sort through its mana signature. There is the more traditional way through meditation and trying to detect the mana flow through magical beings as they launch various attacks, though this method is long arduous and tedious for those who have not opened their metaphorical third eye, but this method could further sharpen your ability to detect mynute changes in your immediate enviroment.

Both methods create fantastic results but using both methods are ideal, and you cannot cast any spells without first being able to perceive mana, once you are able to then you may move onto your very first spell, then maybe one day you could learn more about souls.

Chant the following incantation to begin the ritual, it will take the mana from your blood to activate and target whomever the mana originates from.

"Ανοίξτε τα μάτια μου για να δω το πέπλο που έχει τοποθετηθεί στα μάτια μου, σε αντάλλαγμα δίνω το αίμα μου για να αποδείξω την αφοσίωση."

Prick your finger and drop some blood onto a lit candle and then your eyes will be open.

After the text ended it showed the flame becoming a wall made up of pure fire slowly opening up before someone's eyes.

[POV Mason Pines]

I read the various text all in a stranger language that was not one I knew yet I understood the meaning of the various text.

'I wonder who am I proving my devotion to in the incantation , but if this is the only way provided to me to finally achieve what I always wanted since before everything turned for the worse, I will take it I want to live a life that isn't so empty.'

I walked over to my closet to grab one of my extra candle sticks and put it into one of my extra candle holders, I then walked to my desk to grab the lighter I snagged off the kitchen table two days ago. I then sat the candle down with the lighter right next to it. I had my opened book Infrot of my candle leaning against my bed as I ignited my lighter and brought the flame to the wick to light the candle.

I grabbed the very same knife from where the ritual circle once was I noticed the chalk markings and candles were gone, but I passed it off as an after effect of the ritual I performed before to get this knowledge.

'Wait, why does some random being have a grimoire that belonged possibly to my ancestor, and so happenly I am the one who uses this specific ritual.'

'There are far too many events that appear to be coincidental at face value, there maybe greater powers at work. Or maybe I'm just over thinking things again.'

"Yeah I'm just overthinking things again, I doubt there is some elaborate plot that's centering around me, I'm not narcissistic enough to believe that with little to no proof." I mumbled to myself as I pricked my finger and squeezed the tip of my finger to get the blood to surface and then got a drop of blood to fall from my finger into the flame.

[POV Nightmare Realm]

A triangular being looked into a mirror seeing a brown haired teen draw various symbols in what appears to be a ritual circle the expression the triangular horror had on its face was one of excitement as if it was getting what it wanted as the boy began to mumble something out.

The Triangular entity phased through the mirror as that happened and looking at the mirror now the triangular dream demon floated before the the young teen as he passes out. All the while every candle was burning a bright blue color as the triangular being summoned a blue inferno that after a few seconds faded away showing two floating books one with a transmutation circle and then other had one eye that seemed to move its pupil about scanning the room.

Then the triangular being seemed to pause for moment before turning back around and disappearing.

Well hope everyone enjoyed the chapter sorry for the late release I was just fairly busy lately. Anyways I'll try to release more but try to keep in mind I do work since I've got to earn money somehow.
