Get Back to You

NOTE: Get Back To you is an LGBT novel series. Synopsis: She is back? Giselle is back! And she didn’t want me to know! Lillian Grey’s life went pretty wild without Giselle. She dated people to her wish and broke up with them to her comfort until a young model called Lucy came close to capturing her heart. Anna waited as Lillian stumped upon hearing the familiar name she had desperately searched for several years. And it came with a stab. “If you want, I can deliver a message,” Anna proposed after hearing Lillian become speechless in their phone call. Knowing well how she had come out to spend time with Lucy, Lillian refused to respond when confessed to such shocking news. Nevertheless, later to her own dismay, she delivered her message to her good friend, Anna, hoping that it would reach Giselle somehow. ******************** “Giselle, I’m glad to hear that you’re back. I hope you’re in good health. Well, I heard about your party and that you have invited Anna and not me, which is surprising news to learn. It’s alright. Things are different now for you, I guess. But here’s my message in case you even care: Don’t ever show yourself in front of me. Ever again. Why? Because I know I cannot stop myself from choosing you if I ever see your face again. What you gave me is irreplaceable. I still have it in my heart. It didn’t let me live my life in peace. However, I’ve decided to take a chance without your memories this one time. So, let me be. And congratulations on your marriage and your kid. I pray for your happiness. You know, I do. Take care. Love you, evermore.” - Lillian Grey ******************* Follow the incredible story of Lillian Grey and Giselle: Two souls bonded by love yet, pulled apart by the external forces. The two women meet years later to find out the subtle fire still tingling inside, allowing them to reconcile. But the question is: Will they accept it or not? A Message from the Author: Hey guys, 'Get Back To You' is very special because it is my first novel and a bold choice, I would say. The once short story showed a lot of potential for a perfect novel, and the characters had a depth to them and an unheard voice, for which I wanted to bring justice by exploring and writing. I hope that my efforts reap when the readers enjoy the tale as they travel through this journey. UPDATE!! I am so proud to announce that I will be self-publishing ‘Get Back To You’ as series. I plan to do an eBook series first before paperback. And right now, Volume 1: A Message to Her is available on Amazon Kindle Store. After four years of writing this series, I finally chose to publish it. The published eBook/paperback is going to be even better version and professionally edited for enhanced reading experience. Mike?

Giselle attended the detention after school. She used the time to write her written statement feeling vandalized as her days ahead getting darker and rougher.

Rest of the time, she studied and completed her homework.

...

After the detention got over, Giselle planned to leave initially but got stopped by Sara who dragged her to the basketball court.

There, the school's basketball team was practicing. Giselle noticed Ivy, Bridgette, and Carmel already presented. She felt unease with the situation and tried to evade.

"Hey Yo, Giselle" Ivy called out.

"How did your detention go?" she asked.

Giselle replied with a standard answer. All she could wish for is to leave the place as soon as possible.

But luck is not on her side.

Bridgette took a glance at Giselle and grinned. She enjoyed this very much to her amusement. It even made her think a lot of possible scenarios to use Giselle.

As soon as Giselle joined in with the girls and a few guys who were previously chatting with Bridgette and her friends, it became silent. One of the chatterboxes, a guy from the basketball team who's a substitute had been secretly crushing on Giselle.

Bridgette noticed this change and whispered to the guy to confirm. When he blushed hard while looking at Giselle, Bridgette couldn't help but burst out in a laugh.

She sugarcoated the guy to get close with Giselle purposely.

Mike, the guy who'd been secretly admiring Giselle, approached and stood near her. Bridgette alone enjoyed this show all by herself. Soon, everyone noticed the awkwardness between Mike who tried talking to Giselle only to get simple answers and Giselle who's desperate to leave the place.

"Oh my god, Mike are you flirting with Giselle?" Ivy snapped.

Giselle's eyes flinched from the statement. She looked over at Mike to confirm that it is false but saw the poor guy turning into a red tomato.

Giselle got horrified.

Everyone nearby started murmuring while Bridgette whispered to Ivy about the guy's secret crush.

The next minute, everybody starting cheering up for Mike by repeating the word 'CONFESS' again and again.

Both Mike and Giselle felt uncomfortable from the situation. Giselle's heart raced in fear as she deliberately screamed at everyone.

"ENOUGH"

"THIS ISN'T FUNNY"

Giselle ran away from the place. Nobody dared try to stop her as they were all dumbstruck from her response. The guys playing were too shocked at the startling roar.

Mike felt displeased. He never intended for this to happen and felt the need to apologize.

Mike wanted to catch up with Giselle and apologize. Bridgette stopped him outside the ground. By now, Giselle vanished out from their sight. Mike couldn't catch up.

"Slow down, Mike," Bridgette said while panting from the pursuit.

"No, I made her feel bad. I have to apologize," Mike cried.

"Listen to me."

"She felt embarrassed from the sudden outbreak. Meet her tomorrow and then talk to her. I'll help you." Bridgette comforted.

Mike agreed and believed in her words.

...

Next day:

The classes went on usual. But, Giselle still felt uncomfortable at her seat. Somehow it seemed that somebody was staring at her steadily. However, when searched, she found nobody to be looking at her direction.

The first half of the school went on like this.

Lunch arrived, and Giselle was found sitting by herself in another table different from the one used before. She ate in peace at last.

But, soon, she found herself bring surrounded by a group of people.

Bridgette, Ivy, Sara, and Carmel sat along with Mike and his friends.

Giselle worried from the crowded situation.

She tried to leave but, Ivy pulled her down whispering to keep still. It sounded more like ordering rather than a whisper. Giselle feared as she sat down quietly.

"So, Giselle?" Bridgette called.

"Mike, here, wants to talk to you. He was afraid if you'd blast like yesterday. So, I bought him here. You guys should clear the misunderstandings."

"Come on, Mike, speak up."

Bridgette signaled Mike to speak out. Mike hesitated.
