Get Back to You

NOTE: Get Back To you is an LGBT novel series. Synopsis: She is back? Giselle is back! And she didn’t want me to know! Lillian Grey’s life went pretty wild without Giselle. She dated people to her wish and broke up with them to her comfort until a young model called Lucy came close to capturing her heart. Anna waited as Lillian stumped upon hearing the familiar name she had desperately searched for several years. And it came with a stab. “If you want, I can deliver a message,” Anna proposed after hearing Lillian become speechless in their phone call. Knowing well how she had come out to spend time with Lucy, Lillian refused to respond when confessed to such shocking news. Nevertheless, later to her own dismay, she delivered her message to her good friend, Anna, hoping that it would reach Giselle somehow. ******************** “Giselle, I’m glad to hear that you’re back. I hope you’re in good health. Well, I heard about your party and that you have invited Anna and not me, which is surprising news to learn. It’s alright. Things are different now for you, I guess. But here’s my message in case you even care: Don’t ever show yourself in front of me. Ever again. Why? Because I know I cannot stop myself from choosing you if I ever see your face again. What you gave me is irreplaceable. I still have it in my heart. It didn’t let me live my life in peace. However, I’ve decided to take a chance without your memories this one time. So, let me be. And congratulations on your marriage and your kid. I pray for your happiness. You know, I do. Take care. Love you, evermore.” - Lillian Grey ******************* Follow the incredible story of Lillian Grey and Giselle: Two souls bonded by love yet, pulled apart by the external forces. The two women meet years later to find out the subtle fire still tingling inside, allowing them to reconcile. But the question is: Will they accept it or not? A Message from the Author: Hey guys, 'Get Back To You' is very special because it is my first novel and a bold choice, I would say. The once short story showed a lot of potential for a perfect novel, and the characters had a depth to them and an unheard voice, for which I wanted to bring justice by exploring and writing. I hope that my efforts reap when the readers enjoy the tale as they travel through this journey. UPDATE!! I am so proud to announce that I will be self-publishing ‘Get Back To You’ as series. I plan to do an eBook series first before paperback. And right now, Volume 1: A Message to Her is available on Amazon Kindle Store. After four years of writing this series, I finally chose to publish it. The published eBook/paperback is going to be even better version and professionally edited for enhanced reading experience. Can we be friends?

***

A few hours before meeting Giselle:

Mike had another class and so, got busy with school until lunch. As soon the bell rang, he rushed out to seek Bridgette's help in apologizing to Giselle. Not having a clue about the sly fox, Mike desperately searched for the blond girl all around the school. Someone had reported Mike on seeing Bridgette, and he sprinted to meet her.

He found Bridgette walking alone. Bridgette noticed Mike's presence and felt bothered.

"You said you would help me with Giselle," Mike grunted.

Bridgette shrugged.

Watching the guy, who's sweating from tracking her down, being in his most pathetic state he can be, Bridgette enjoyed the scene. She wanted Josh to behave like this for her, and it isn't happening to her. It made the blond furious.

Bridgette knew Giselle and still toyed with Mike's true feelings. She wanted everyone around her to feel the same way as she does, being ignored by the loved one.

"Alright, let's go find Giselle." Bridgette declared. Deep in her heart, she knew Mike is going to get hurt but, Bridgette wanted to humiliate Giselle and bring down Mike with her devious mind. Poor Mike has become a topping on her shrewd pizza.

"Wait-"

"What am I going to say to her?"

"She might think that I'm a creepy person. I don't want that. I want to impress her and make her mine without seeming creepy."

"I'll apologize first and then, confess my feeling for her."

Mike declared making Bridgette scowl. He spoke out from his heart.

"No, you are not going to ruin my fun-" Bridgette disapproved instantly.

"What?" Mike looked baffled.

'Crap, I got too emotional, he could have found out.' - Bridgette thought.

"Suspense, I mean you can't break out the suspense right away. Do you remember what happened here in the cafeteria? Giselle got into detention, and that made you meet her. Look, all I'm saying is that you can't abruptly confess to her. She'll freak out. Girls don't like it if you come out too strong."

Mike was pure at first in terms of his feelings for Giselle but started getting derailed from his purity with Bridgette's scheming ideas put inside his brain.

"What should I do?" Mike asked.

'Now, we're talking. Thank god, he's stupid.' - Bridgette smiled happily covering the hidden grin behind the mask she wore.

"Then you need to listen to me."

"If you confess to her right away she'll reject you on the spot."

"Tell her that you want to be friends and apologize for yesterday's event. We'll calm her down and then make our move."

Bridgette's idea appeared to be honest for Mike, and so he followed her plan to make Giselle his girlfriend.

"One more thing, be super friendly with her. That way, she'll start to like you gradually. I'll help you to be her bestie got it?"

Bridgette moved once getting confirmation from Mike. They both reached the cafeteria and found Giselle to be sitting alone. Bridgette hissed at Mike to assemble his friends to join Bridgette and her friends so that they can all approach Giselle together.

"I was assuming that I would meet her alone," Mike murmured.

"You would have gotten rejected by now. Remember, you have to be friends first and then make your move depending on her response.

Mike obeyed. He texted his friends to join him while Bridgette had already assembled her squad. As soon as Mike friends arrived, they all went to approach the lonely girl.

Mike exhaled. He wanted to do it and make Giselle as his own.

Retracing the memories, Mike erased the thought of confessing for now and switched on his 'friend-mode' to pursue Giselle. He took the lead Bridgette gave and spoke.

"G- Giselle, I'm sorry for what happened yesterday. I did not plan it. They just started playing around."

Giselle sensed Mike's genuine concern. She forgives him ignoring the girls, and they all went to eat lunch together. Bridgette notices it going smooth and nudged Mike to move onto the next thing.

"Giselle?" Mike called.

When Giselle looked up, Mike smile warmly and said,

"Can we be friends, if it's okay with you?"

Giselle's primary motive is to not make any acquaintance with the guy as she certainly noticed his flushed face when they all teased him. However, the situation had become dire as all kept staring at Giselle for her answer. Their eyes eagerly waited, and it was evident that everyone desired Giselle to reply 'yes' only.

Giselle became sentimental as the guy looked sincere in his words. Instantly, she agreed to be friends with him. They both shared a smile.

"Wow, let's celebrate it after school. Got it?" Ivy announced, and all agreed.

The table celebrated and roared, making noises catching glances from all around them.

Even Lillian noticed Giselle and the people sitting with her getting pumped up all of a sudden.

Recently, Giselle and the girl gang seemed to be causing an uproar everywhere they went. It disturbed the peace maintained inside the school.

"It looks like recently they have been partying every day," Anna commented.

Lillian silently nodded, continued eating her lunch.
