[Tamnrell POV]
Art disappeared. Without a message at that...
After informing us he was going to a hidden lake he found together with my brothers and sisters, we were finally able to close our eyes and rest for the first time in 3 days.
Well. Almost all of us...
I stayed as the watch for the night to warn the rest of the blasted Wyvern. If he did show himself, that is.
But, after 4 hours of not seeing Art's presence, I began to feel unease...
"Did he get lost?" I muttered.
That shouldn't be possible with all the skills we taught him.
In those 2 months that he stayed with us, we, children, instructed him on our survival skills which we passed down for millennia.
Even our most guarded secrets. In particular, the magical ones...
As he was a Champion, we didn't see a reason not to do it. And so, he absorbed all our teachings as if breathing air.
His pace was frightening.
The speed at which he learned everything we threw at him was something I had never witnessed in the 200 years since my first breath.
However, since our ally was in god's forces, we had no real reason to fear his power.
His wishes are our god's will.
Therefore, we had no trouble continuing to guide him in our ways...
Who knows. Perhaps in the future, he will make relationships between man and children happen again...
But then again. Men were always afraid of intelligent beings distinct from their own.
That's why my ancestors cut all ties with their people. The greed, hate, envy, fear, and multiple other negative emotions, made them unbearable to coexist peacefully with...
Art, however, is different... He is a human, or High Human as he said it. But not once did he look with contempt towards us.
On the contrary. His weird jokes and cheerful smiles are always present when among our kin.
It's....strange. To say the least.
He never met us before. And yet, he treats us as companions of equal height.
It was that fact, that made me want to befriend him...
" Where did you go, my friend?" I asked no one while inspecting his clothes, laying in the mentioned lake cave.
spread on the wet, polished rocky floor...
Was he captured by something...maybe the wyvern gave him a nightly visit while he was taking a bath?
...Of course, how can we have not noticed this. If these mountains belong to his lair, then he needs an easy water source to drink from...
" Come on, Mr. Fluffy. let's warn the others of your master's disappearance" I stated, picking the giant bunny in my embrace, along with Art's vestment.
"kyu..." A whimper came as a response.
My hand gripped his shirt, "I know. But we're going to find him. Don't worry, he's a tough one, that guy. He can handle himself for some time", I reassured him while going back to our provisional resting place.
I couldn't understand him like Art, but I could read his distressed expression a bit...
"Meanwhile, we'll be looking for clues as to where he could have gone" I firmly added.
Arriving at the camp, and waking up the others, we determined it would be better if we went separate ways, to cover a larger search area.
"Mutharh, you go up the mountains, see if you locate any clue from up there", I commanded him, he was the one with the best eyesight among us.
"Lirharr, look into the bigger caves close to this area, maybe the Wyvern took him and he's still around here somewhere. The rest, scatter, blow the horn if you find him." I reminded them, receiving confirmed nods in response.
"And remember," I stopped them from leaving for a moment, "Let the spirits of our ancestors guide you. I may be a small whisper. Even so, trust them with all your being. That's all. Now go!" I ended my speech, parting as well.
Normally, they wouldn't need such a reminder, but now that we are so far from our woods, the chances that our spirits would help us are very low...
I shook my head "He should be fine, the animals love him after all," I spoke uncertainly.
He mentioned to me before, how limited it was to make the giant apes, and wyverns recognize him at all.
"He's up for an earful for making me come all this way to the mountains. Just for him to disappear during the night. And to further make me look for his, and a legendary wyvern's ass" I sighed.
I ignored the fact that is physically impossible for me to reach his ear, due to my short...upcoming.
My shoulders slumped, "Whatever. I'll just make him own me one. Huhu and I even know already what to make-" I started to plan my revenge, but was cut short by a deafening bestial scream, followed by Mutharh shout.
"KRUWUOHH!!!!" By the g-!!
"Tamnrell!! The south sky!!!" he yelled at me, pointing up at the sky...
"Wha-?!" My eyes widened extensively, "Hide yourselves, quickly!!!" I loudly commanded them.
They reunited immediately upon hearing the commotion, coming to a stop.
"Curses!!!," I swore. The night tyrant. The unknown creature in our teachings is falling on us!
And he's massive. You can probably put half our population present in the woods, in its back alone.
My hand shot towards the bow's wooden holder, "Where is Art when you need him the most?!" I cursed anxiously.
There's a reason as for why Dragons are sometimes more preferred when compared to them.
The latter is much more aggressive and will attack anything in his way on a whim...
But with Art's calming 'Aura', the beats tend to ignore us.
Hence, why the rest of the group, so happily, decided to accompany him. However, in his absence...
Maybe our sisters can use the water from the lake to fend him off, "Turiahrr!! Take our sisters an-" I started shouting instructions but was once again cute by a familiar, but annoying shout.
"HEEYY!! YOU GUYS MISSED ME?!" A head popped from behind the intimidating beast. Followed by a familiar arm-waving...
"..."
...I'm going to shoot an arrow in his knee.

[Art Mueller POV]
I flew around in Noctur(that's the name of my nocturnal wyvern if you haven't guessed yet...it sounds appropriate) for some time.
Sighting the jungles, grass planes, deserts, and mountains from up the sky...
I got to say, this place is like an animal resort.
All kinds of wild beasts and animals from my homeworld coexist south of this continent, such as lions, zebras, elephants, buffalos...
It's pretty much like Africa's savanna at this point.
There were some tribes of Brindled man hunting and roaming around as well:
{Brindled man:
-Anatomy and culture: Sothoryi, also known as the Brindled Men, are the native inhabitants of the continent of Sothoryo.
Maester Yandel describes the Sothoryi as massively muscled, big-boned creatures—not men—with long arms, sloped foreheads, huge square teeth, heavy jaws, coarse black hair, flat noses that suggest snouts, and thick skins brindled in patterns of brown and white, making them seem more hog-like than human.
Sothoryi women cannot breed with any save their own males; when mated with men from Essos or Westeros, they bring forth only stillbirths, many of which are hideously deformed.
The Sothoryi that dwell closest to the sea has learned the Trade Talk. The Ghiscari considered them too slow of wit to make good slaves, but they remain fierce fighters nonetheless.
Farther south the Brindled Men become ever more savage and barbaric. They worship dark gods and perform obscene rites. Many are cannibals and some are ghouls, devouring their own dead when they cannot feast on the flesh of foes or strangers...}
So not the best kind of people to be friends with...
I was curious to see their community working. And seems like, apart from their appearance, they looked like any other pre-historical tribe you would find in a savanna. Simple, disorganized, and brute.
Not much to look at, to be honest...
But, there are some tribes that pray to sculptures made of black oily stones.
Black stones are a mystery to me. They're all scattered all over the world, and few speculate about their origin.
I only know it's harder and older than any other know civilization's material currently existing...
Really an enigma.
Whatever. I can't do anything with it, at the moment. Not even carry it.
The bloody thing is heavy as a large house, and I can't take it apart and take it with me either. As I said before, too hard...
So, after my exhilarating trip. I finally returned to our camp in the mountains.
It's almost morning. With the sun's rays beginning to come out. Tamnrell and the others should be awakening by now.
And oh boy, they were awake all right.
More like panicking...
Huh, didn't know they're so attached to me.
"Hehehe, let's give them a big hello, shan't we bud?" I playfully asked my fellow companion.
"KRUWUOHH!!!!" Wow, that was a scary one, "Look how you scared them Noc. *Sigh* Anyway, let me do it correctly," I apprehend him, but he just huffed at me....whatever.
"HEEYY!! YOU GUYS MISSED ME?!" I yelled enthusiastically while plopping my head to the side of Noctur's neck, and waving my arm to the sides.
"..." Ehh...
"UoOh" Someone is not happy with my arrival.
Shit, Tamnrell's face is really not pretty right now...
Oh well. At least I arrived like a champ-"GAH!! MY KNEE!!" I clutched my shaved knee.
The bastard shot a real, fucking arrow in my knee!!
