Synopsis

Luke Freeman, the genius of the century, just got out of prison, after being falsely imprisoned there for two years for the murder of his guardian. When he got out, he was assigned a therapist by his best friend. He doesn't like his therapist, Tim. He always tries to get involved in his personal life, and there is no escaping their weekly session together. Unfortunately, for him though, a laboratory accident lands him and his therapist a thousand and five hundred years in the past, but the worst part is that they aren't in their sixteenth century, the sixteenth century of a different dimension. Fortunately, Luke's guardian who is supposed to be dead is here as well... But he is here ruling as an evil king, who is slowly turning this dimension into what is his definition of the perfect world. That's not good. Now, Luke, Tim, and a group of people from this world are on a mission to stop the evil ruler from his mission. However, this might be a fun adventure for Luke and Tim. "Ugh, I wish I had a full glass of ninety-eight percent alcohol in my system," Luke commented boredly. "But that would kill you," Time replies. Luke rolls his eyes. "That is the f**king point, roach." Or maybe not...

Chapter 1Chapter 1

The year 2520, December 12...

There was a court session, a scientist was suspected of murdering his guardian and teacher about two years ago and was convicted with life imprisonment. Now the truth has been uncovered and the man was facing his second trial.

A man in his early twenties, sat down patiently as he awaited his final judgment. He was a brown-haired man with slightly curly neck-length hair, he was slightly malnourished, and it showed on his face that he hadn't slept in a few days. His grey eyes showed no emotion as he waited for his final judgment.

While in prison, his best friend found out he was actually innocent and hired a detective to uncover what had happened. This is his second court session and his only chance to prove his innocence.

Not that Luke cares. His life in prison is far more peaceful than his life in the real world.

"Luke Freeman..." the judge said, making their final decision. "You are hereby declared not guilty."

Almost everyone was on the edge of their seat throughout the court session, and when they heard the final decision, they all cheered. Luke was a bit disappointed that he was let go. But there's nothing he can do right now.

He was escorted to change his clothes from his prison clothes to a more classy outfit. A black shirt, with navy blue trousers and a brown coat.

Immediately after he came out, his bodyguards were waiting for him. They handed him a cigar with a glass of bourbon. This was all caught on camera, and he looked straight at the camera. He knew what he looked like and he smirked. He put the cigar in his mouth and it was lit. He took a deep breath and let out a puff of smoke.

Six months later...

Once he got out of prison, he returned to his position as the CEO of Richmort. A very successful tech company. One of the finest there is.

He was working on an old project his late guardian was working on before disappearing completely. He was presumed to be dead too, but Like highly doubted that.

What his teacher was working on was a time machine, and before he was arrested, Luke found the timeline he was transported to.

The only problem for him was that he needed to rebuild the time machine from scratch to get him back.

He was working on the calculations throughout the time he was in prison. Writing a bunch of formulas and calculations on the walls of your cell is the easiest way to get a therapist assigned to you, it seems.

Speaking of therapists, Tim, the therapist assigned to him after he left prison by his best friend, should be calling soon.

"Mr. Idiot is calling," his virtual assistant said.

Luke groaned in frustration. "Send him a message. I'm not coming. Don't bring your brother into this, and if you try to force me, I'll cut my wrists in the bathtub again."

"Sent," his virtual assistant said.

Luke smiled happily, as he continued to work. "615, play some hardcore music, please," he said. "And ask Drake to buy me some coffee, the way I like it."

"Done," his virtual assistant said. "You have a message from, Mr. Idiot."

"I'm downstairs, you f**king pimp," the virtual assistant said. "Playing hardcore music from your playlist."

Luke's mood went down, as the music played. The moment was now gone. "Tell him I'm coming," he said.

He grabs his coat hanging on his chair. "Cancel the order for Drake getting me my coffee," he said blankly.

"Done," his virtual assistant said. He sets up an alarm for his core to be dunked in cold water in an hour.

He leaves his lab and walks to the receptionist, where Tim, a 5'11" man with brown hair, and forest green eyes, with a light dusting of freckles on his tanned skin, is busy flirting with the receptionist who is falling harder than a brick dropped from the top of a skyscraper.

"Timothy," Luke called him in a monotone voice.

Tim turned around smiling, while the woman being flirted with turned a bit pale in test and returned to her work.

'I should have replaced her with A.I.' Luke thought walking to Tim. "Being a pimp as well, I see," he said.

He watched as a vein in Tim's forehead twitched in annoyance, and he smirked. "Let's get this over with," Tim said, as they both walked out of the office building to a cafe opposite the building.

Luke carefully reads the menu on the holographic screen pretending like he wasn't going to order the same thing he always does.

He presses on the espresso icon and the screen changes to: Thanks for ordering!

Tim too had ordered. However, he ordered a light chicken soup, a tuna tartare, with some juice.

Their orders came in at the same time and Tim pushed the chicken soup to Luke. "Why would order for what you aren't going to eat?" Luke said in annoyance.

Tim scowls at him. "I didn't order it for me," he said. "I don't want you almost dying again from the lack of proper nutrients in your body during our session."

Luke looks at the soup and drinks his coffee. "When was the last time you took something that wasn't coffee or a nutrition pack?" Tim asked, just as Luke was about to push it back to him.

He noted and didn't push the soup back. "Fair point," he said, he left the soup in front of him and didn't drink it.

Tim took out his notepad and pen, smiling professionally. "So how has your week been?" he asked.

"Good," Luke replies, uninterested in this therapy session.

"Really?" Tim said raising an eyebrow at him suspiciously. "Have you been taking your medications this time around?"

"No because I find no use in them," Luke replies folding his arm.

Tim sighed closing his notepad. "It's no wonder you look a lot more awful than usual," he said. This struck a nerve in Luke.

"Well, unlike you I have more important things to do," Luke said haughty. "And that is--"

"Building the time machine your guardian was building before he passed away," Tim said nonchalantly. "And I will keep telling you that you are delusional thinking that such a device would work," he said.

Luke was highly offended by this. "You know that is highly offensive, right?" he said. "Also, a simple-minded person like you simply can not understand the amount of genius goes into calculating and harnessing the space-time continuum," he said braggingly.

"You really need to start taking your medications," Tim said uninterested in what he is saying. However he did feel a bit awful for Luke. He is suffering from the same delusions as his mentor thinking that he can harness the power of time. It is also a shame that they are rich.

"I'll have you know that I am very close to making the time machine," Luke said, coldly. "When I'm done I'm going to show you," he said standing up and leaving.

Tim watched helplessly as he watched Luke leave the cafe. 'He forgot to pay,' he thought.

Luke listened to music angrily nodding his head to the rythym. The core had been dumped in cold water, it was from over heating.

Thank God it was dumped in cold water, or else six months of work would be wasted. "Meeting with business partners," his virtual assistant said.

Luke made a sound of frustration banging his head on his desk. "It's going to take a while before I end this project."

[Warning: Mature Content R18+] The taste of forbidden love is the sweetest agony!! They were fucking right. I, Frery Kane was whipped and captivated by a Lycan Shifter from the Bay Shifter pack in Paradise Bay. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, an irresistible pull I couldn’t deny. Alpha Tor Gale, a Lycan Shifter of unparalleled strength, only of his kind, his blood as intoxicating as ambrosia, his presence a temptation, I couldn’t escape. He made me crave more than I should or was allowed. In Paradise Bay, Vampires and Shifters are bound by ancient laws, their rivalry etched into the marrow of our existence. To meet him was to defy centuries of hatred; to love him was to risk everything. Each secret meeting was a dance with death, a betrayal of the Paradise Vampire Coven, and a rebellion against the laws that chained us. But Tor was my forbidden desire, my beautiful torment, and my greatest weakness. I knew the cost of this love, a love that could ignite war and destroy us both. But how could I resist the one thing that made my immortal heart beat once more? Excerpt from Alpha Tor's POV: “So you’ve been following me,” Tor’s deep growl echoed in the icy cavern. His golden eyes caught the flicker of torchlight. His breath misted in the freezing air, curling like smoke between them. “What gave me away?” I responded my voice as low, deep, and steady. Tor laughed a deep rumble that shook the cavern walls. “You reek of desperation. Do you think I didn’t notice your scent clinging to the trees? Are your footprints melting the frost? What is it, vampire? What do you want from me?” My jaw clenched and my gaze didn’t waver. “Your blood,” I taunted as my voice was laced with coldness to see if he could be threatened by my words. “Your kind is... intoxicating. Forbidden. I can’t stop myself.” I expected him to cover but he stepped forward and responded “If it’s my blood you want,” he murmured, his voice low and teasing, “then come closer and take what you need” The words struck me like lightning, and a fiery heat surged through my veins. My beast clawed at my control, drawn to him in a way that defied logic. His gaze held mine, and for the first time in my life, I didn’t know whether to run or to stay. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ In the end, they called me a betrayer. A traitor to the Paradise Vampire Coven. But how could I hold back when I had tasted something far sweeter than immortality? Alpha Tor was my forbidden fruit, the Lycan Shifter Alpha who defied everything I was taught to hate. But when I surged forward, ready to face anyone who dared stand between us, fate revealed the old prophecy hidden in Hanka Island. Alpha Tor wasn’t just my lover, he was my lifetime mate, our bond blessed by the ancient magic of Hanka Island itself. And our love was not meant to follow the rules, it was meant to break them.
