Freeman (BL)

Luke Freeman, the genius of the century, just got out of prison, after being falsely imprisoned there for two years for the murder of his guardian. When he got out, he was assigned a therapist by his best friend. He doesn't like his therapist, Tim. He always tries to get involved in his personal life, and there is no escaping their weekly session together. Unfortunately, for him though, a laboratory accident lands him and his therapist a thousand and five hundred years in the past, but the worst part is that they aren't in their sixteenth century, the sixteenth century of a different dimension. Fortunately, Luke's guardian who is supposed to be dead is here as well... But he is here ruling as an evil king, who is slowly turning this dimension into what is his definition of the perfect world. That's not good. Now, Luke, Tim, and a group of people from this world are on a mission to stop the evil ruler from his mission. However, this might be a fun adventure for Luke and Tim. "Ugh, I wish I had a full glass of ninety-eight percent alcohol in my system," Luke commented boredly. "But that would kill you," Time replies. Luke rolls his eyes. "That is the f**king point, roach." Or maybe not...

Chapter 19

"We've found the Angel of Darkness, he was traveling with the same human and the demoness with electric abilities," the girl said.

"We are sending soldiers to your location, Captain Zoey."

The girl looks at her communication crystal with a cold heart. "Yes sir," she replies and the communication line is cut off.

She remembers the looks on the face of the Angel of Darkness' companion. He's practically harmless.

'If I can just convince him to join His Majesty,' she thought. There's something that confuses her, during the trial of the Angel of Darkness, he said he knew His Majesty and His Majesty seemed to be afraid of him. His Majesty is the most powerful human being alive, so who exactly is this person?

"This place is beautiful," Tim said in awe.

Luke felt a bit weirded out. He felt the eyes of everyone on him. He was used to eyes on him, eyes of admiration, eyes of jealousy, curiosity, and other different emotions.

A particular one stood out. The stare of a stalker. "Where are you taking us?" Luke asks Ean.

"Our leader wants to see you," Ean replies.

Luke kept quiet. Iya was on guard. A few people are looking at them with greed. It is only a matter of time before they will want the bounty on her and Luke's heads.

They sat quietly in a tent on pillows made of fur and a table was set before them. A fragrant-smelling tea was served to them. But one of them touched it.

Luke didn't like tea, Iya didn't trust the tea that was served and Tim didn't want to drink tea alone.

The leader arrived. He was an elderly man with grey hair strands of orange hair packed neatly in a low ponytail, and his eyes were completely pale green, despite having wrinkles, he still had a bit of charm, he had pointy ears and dressed humbly in grey robes and shoes. "Welcome," he said, he sounded calming.

He sat opposite them. " Tea was served to him from the same teapot. "My name is Xaryn, and I am the leader of the underground camp," he said.

'Xaryn, not a human name,' Tim thought. This man, his eyes show he is blind, yet his movements are clean.

"I'm sure you are wondering why I asked Ean to bring you to me," Xaryn said. "Don't worry, I'm not willing to kill you," he said. "Gaia wouldn't be happy with me."

"You are an Angel of Mother Nature?" Luke asked.

"I am," he said, showing Luke his palm where there was a symbol of a large tree.

"You are a fire oracle as well," Iya said. "Which makes you more valuable," she said squinting her eyes at him.

"I am but a humble elf," he said. "I have come to deliver a message from Gaia to you, Angel of the God of Darkness."

Luke waits eagerly for him to say what the message is. "But first, we must have a feast, it isn't every day we get to have guests," Xaryn said to Luke and Tim's disappointment.

Tim was also looking forward to what the fire oracle had to say.

When they said feast, Luke wasn't expecting large platters of meat and carbs and jugs of wine and beer.

He was served a lot, but he barely made a dent in what he was served.

However, when they were pouring him wine, he downed it like an alcoholic.

Tim didn't drink much. Having a hangover isn't something he wants to deal with in the morning. He glances over to Luke who is drinking merrily. 'He's going to have a killer hangover in the morning,' he thought knowing that Luke was drinking on an empty stomach.

Iya was drinking quietly by the corner with a huge bird leg in her hands.

Their party ended with Luke fully drunk and barely conscious.

Tim carried him on his back. Xaryn told him the location of the tent he and Like would share for the night and he needed to get Luke there.

Luke, who was now fully awake and aware that he was being carried, put Tim in a chokehold. "Who are you?" he asked in a slurred voice.

Tim had a hard time breathing. "It's me, Tim, I can't breathe," he said.

Luke seemed to recognize his voice and released him from the choke hold.

"Why are you carrying me?" he said in a bit of a slur. "I can walk myself."

Tim laughed. "Are you sure?"

Luke was quiet and was resting on his back. "Timothy," he called him.

"It's Tim."

"Don't you know you might die on this little mission?" he asked. "You can't fight properly--"

"I said I know boxing," Tim said interrupting him.

"Then what?" Luke asked. "Left, right, center, death?"

"I won't die," Tim said with a frown. "We are practically the same, the only difference is that you have enhanced strength and speed," he said.

"I can heal myself as well," Luke said quietly.

"You just knew you could do that."

"You can't do any of that, you've nearly died too much."

"And it is mostly because you toss me across the forest," Tim replies sarcastically.

"I don't want you to die here, it is no different from killing you myself," Luke said.

'He's letting out too much, is he okay?' Tim thought.

"If you die, I'll kill myself."

Tim felt a bit weirded out by this. "Is that some sort of love confession or something?" he asked jokingly.

Luke didn't seem to find it amusing and put him in a chokehold again.

"Stop, stop," Tim begged desperately gasping for air as he laughed at his joke. "I'm going to die, please stop!"

Luke felt the stalking eyes again and he stopped looking around.

"Do you feel that?" he asked.

"What?" Tim said in confusion.

Luke looks around with a frown on his face. "It's nothing."

"What do you mean nothing? If you sensed something, then tell me!" Tim said in a bit of annoyance.

"It doesn't matter now because it is gone," Luke said, then he began to feel nauseous. "I think I'm going to throw up," he said.

"No, no, no, you're in my back, don't you dare!"

Blerg!

"No!"

Tim dropped Luke on the sleeping bag, his face scrunching up in disgust. He smelled like vomit. And both of them are covered in it.

He removed Luke's clothes because he was sleeping peacefully. He then removes the shirt he was wearing and sits next to him.

'We need water,' he thought.

The tent opened and Ean came in. "I saw what happened, so I came to give you some water," he said holding a rag and a bucket of water.

Tim looked relieved. "Thank you, Ean," he said in appreciation. He gets up and collects the bucket and rag from him.

"You're welcome," Ean said, before he left he delivered a message from the leader, "By the way, Xaryn wants to see you in his tent before you go to sleep, he says it's important."

"Okay, I'll make sure to see him," Tim replies. "Thank you."
