The room fell into a curious silence as Kade's words hung in the air. Michael Davis, sensing the headliners for today, leaned forward with a hint of apprehension. "Something interesting, you say? Please, go ahead, Kade."
"Let me ask you this first, why or how do you think dungeons started appearing on our planet?"
The question wasn't hard to answer as everyone knows that no one knows anything about why or how the dungeon started appearing
"As far as I know, no ones know anything how or why the dungeons started appearing, would you happen to know the answer to that, Mr Kade?"
Kade's smile widened as he scanned the audience, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Would you believe me if I tell you that the recent dungeons were not natural occurrences. They are part of a larger scheme orchestrated by powerful entities you wouldn't think exist"
All the people watching and even all the National rankers were shocked by what Kade said, the host was stunned and couldn't help but ask Kade, "What do you mean by that Mr Kade?"
"These beings that created the dungeons are known as the Monarchs and the Rulers,
and do you want to know why they're doing what they're doing?"
A murmur of disbelief and confusion rippled through the audience. Journalists scribbled furiously, and the National Rankers exchanged concerned glances. Michael Davis, maintaining his composure, pressed on. "Monarchs and Rulers? Can you elaborate on who these entities are and what their goals entail?"
Kade continued, his tone was making it suspenseful for everyone that was listening. "The Monarchs are beings of immense power, driven by a desire to conquer and destroy, they're the beings people regard as the devils from hell, with the Monarchs being Satans. The Rulers, on the other hand, aim to preserve and protect and they're basically the angels created by the supreme being, who people think is jesus, but don't be fooled by their angelic appearance, their methods are equally ruthless if not more brutal. As for their goal…both factions view Earth as a strategic point in their eternal conflict. The dungeons are their way of preparing the battlefield, unleashing the mana to our world to strengthen it and make it ripe for their war."
The crowd's immediate reaction was that of fear, skepticism, and astonishment. Some people whispered among themselves, while others stared at Kade with wide eyes, trying to process the information. A few even shook their heads, thinking Kade might be delusional.
If any other hunter said what Kade said, people would think they were crazy, but Kade is no normal hunter, he took Korea under his control singlehandedly, not to mention he was debatably the strongest hunter, which he is.
"Is this some kind of joke?" someone from the audience shouted.
Kade's expression remained calm, his eyes never leaving the audience. "I understand it sounds unbelievable. But seeing is believing, isn't it?" He turned to the backstage, his voice carrying a commanding tone. "Legia, come out."
A collective gasp echoed through the hall as the massive form of Legia, the Monarch of Giants, emerged from the shadows. His towering figure and the power radiating from him were enough to silence any remaining whispers. As Legia stepped forward, he released an aura that was the essence of dungeon monsters but amplified a hundredfold. The oppressive force suffocated the entire room, making it hard for everyone to breathe.
The intense pressure made people clutch their chests, and some even fell to their knees and fainting, unable to withstand the overwhelming power.
Journalists struggled to keep their cameras steady, and the National Rankers tensed as they all stood up and brought out all their weapons, ready to fight this monster that gave them a dreadful feeling.
"Everyone calm down, this is Legia, the Monarch of the giants, but my associate here Gunhee, subdued him while clearing the S ranks dungeon in Japan. So no need to be tense, he's harmless and basically my pet" Kade said to calm everyone down
Michael Davis, momentarily at a loss for words, finally found his voice. "This… this is extraordinary. Legia, you say? A Monarch?"
Legia's deep, resonant voice filled the hall. "Yes, I am Legia, the Monarch of Giants. I once sought to bring destruction upon this world. But now, I serve the master for greater good."
The room erupted into chaos. Some members of the audience stood up, pointing and shouting, while others backed away in terror. Journalists clambered over each other to get better shots and closer views of the giant. The National Rankers on stage exchanged looks of shock and disbelief.
Michael Davis raised his hands, trying to restore order. "Everyone, please! Let's remain calm. This is indeed a shocking revelation, but we need to hear more from Kade."
Kade, unfazed by the pandemonium, waited for the crowd to quiet down. "The Monarchs and Rulers are real, and their conflict is what drives the appearance of these dungeons, and once our world is ready, they will all descend here and I'm not sure if our earth would survive the fight between them and Rulers"
Thomas Andre, his earlier arrogance now replaced with a serious expression, spoke up. "If what you say is true, then what proof do you have apart from that giant of a man?"
Thomas was right, Legia could just be an unknown strong hunter with a gigantification skill, he did not look the monster part at all.
Kade hearing this just smiled, he waited for a few seconds before answering Thomas's question.
"Hmm, I guess you'll just have to wait, wait for them to appear here and destroy everything that we've built, then maybe you will all believe me then."
The host, barely containing himself asked Kade, "let's say what you've said is true, how do we prevent it? Because it sounds like you know a solution?
"It's simple really, instead of us waiting for them to appear here…we go and invade their world first."
