107 Kill the demon

Ryan held the door open with his foot and entered the room holding two large paper bags in his hand. He deposited the bags on the side table and immediately went near his sister. 

Concern and worry were apparent on his face. Though he knew his sister could more than tackle a demon, still he couldn't seem to worry over her as if she was still a 4 year old little sister who would always turn up at the door with bruises and cuts.

"Are you hurt?" He took her hand in his and inspected her for cuts and bruises.

He looked around the room with a razor-sharp eye, scanning every nook and corner. When he was satisfied that there was no lingering demon left behind, he pulled the curtains over the windows.

Alice waved her hand dismissing his concern, "You think I will get hurt just by a puny khor demon?"

Ryan smiled at her affectionately and ruffled her hair, "Khor is it? Then it shouldn't have been a problem for you."
