What Now?

It took quite a while for the loud crashing and banging noises coupled with Caspian’s furious roars to come to a complete stop.

Nobody dared to do anything about the King’s outburst.

When everything became quiet, Vincent slowly looked away from the huge door. The slight glint of fear in his eyes turned into anger when he glared at Zenon in a condescending manner.

“You…” he sneered.

He looked at the bloodstains on Zenon’s cheek and his neck. Then he blared, “Now, tell me exactly what you did to anger Caspian to the point where he would physically hurt you?”

Before Zenon could answer, or even turn his head to face Vincent, Percy and a few other people ran to their aid.

They helped Zenon and Vincent to get back up on their feet. And then they looked at the two lords as if they also wanted answers regarding the King’s outbursts since yesterday. They wanted answers in order to avoid accidentally putting themselves in a difficult situation with the King.
