Coming of the Apocalypse Queen

In the year 2XXX, a blue meteor from outer space landed on Earth and signaled the dawn of the apocalypse. More than 60% of the population was wiped out by a mysterious disease. Plants and animals turned into mutants. People gained powers and abilities. The world and the government collapsed and turned into a world where only the strong is respected while the weak are doomed to die. Lilian Mo didn't have a good life during the apocalypse. She was reduced to being a possession of her fiancé and became his glorified bed warmer. He kept her locked up in his villa and rarely allowed her to go out, keeping her around as his pet that he took care of. Though it was considered a luxury to be able to eat three times a day and drink clean water in the apocalypse when all the water sources are contaminated, Lilian Mo sneered at this kind of life and escaped her confinement meeting people along the way and gaining an ability on her own. She found 'friends' during her journey and fought alongside them through life and death, only to be betrayed by them. Lilian Mo died tragically when she was pushed to a group of mutant animals by her so-called 'friend' whom she treated as a sister. When it seemed like everything was going to end for her, she opened her eyes and went back to her sixteen-year-old body, two months before the apocalypse. "The heavens have not forsaken me." Lilian Mo swore to grow stronger and take revenge on those that betrayed her trust. Lucky for her, she was reborn with the knowledge of the future and given her own special dimension. Her golden cheats allowed her to sail through the apocalypse without worrying about food or water. After waking up two months before the apocalypse, Lilian Mo decided to set her eyes on the people that wronged her. ▪▪▪ A story about a girl's journey to becoming stronger while trying to survive in the apocalyptic world and facing the man of her past. ▪▪▪ Reminding my readers that this book's rating is [No One 17 And Under Allowed] which means it contains mature content not suitable for young readers. Read at your own discretion. This also includes gore, violence, abuse, and explicit content because the setting is an apocalyptic world. There are no major misunderstandings between the characters. Face slapping is reduced to a minimum and there are no exaggerated or draggy arguments. I only write happy endings ;) This is pure fiction. Don't expect it to be realistic. My third language is English--hoping that the Grammar Nazis would be gentle with me Cover photo not mine. I only edited it.

Their Coordination Was Simply Amazing

Lilian Mo then decided to attack once she has observed the half-mutant's ability to fight. For the most part, it relied on its physical abilities and had not used its lightning ability again.

This meant that it probably had just awakened it and was not used to using this ability. It seemed that they were still lucky.

Mu Qingqing was also not impulsive as she had also watched the half-mutant fight so along with Lilian Mo, she also charged once the half-mutant was entrapped in a slew of vines.

She raised his fists, intending to punch it without holding her strength. The half-mutant roared, its red eyes blazed with anger as its muscles tightened, veins bulging before it tore through the vines like a raging madman.

Mu Qingqing's punch was blocked just in time by its palm. She felt that she had just punched a really tough metal, making her teeth and bones rattle and shake.

"Xiao Ji!" The half-mutant roared as it raised its leg, kicking Mu Qingqing away on the stomach. Mu Qingqing's eyes widened but she was fast enough to cross her arms in infront of her, shielding from that attack.

"Qingqing!" Mizuki Rei maneuvered a wall of wind to surround her but Lilian Mo's hands were faster as she brought down the searing hot knife she was holding when the half-mutant extended its leg.

Slicing through its tissues and muscles, the leg fell on the ground with a dull thud, followed by more screeching. The half-mutant became agitated and Lilian Mo moved even faster, not giving it time to recover as she charged, intending to behead it one go.

The half-mutant's sense of danger was warning it as it crossed its claws infront of him. The knife finally broke, it was too weak against the metallic claws of the half-mutant, and Lilian Mo had also forced it down on the half-mutant's leg. It could no longer stand being used against the armorlike skin.

It crumbled down to the ground along with its handle like shattered pieces of glass.

"Roar!" The half-mutant howled when it noticed that a dent was left on its claws. It bared its sharp teeth and jumped back as it knew that the opponent was dangerous and far stronger. It sent a stream of lightning towards Lilian Mo. She was prepared to dodge it but a wall of ice suddenly erected around her, protecting her from the attack.

Before she could even show her surprise, Lu Jingren had made his own move and ran ahead of her, ice enveloped his hands to his arms, the tips were sharp as if he was wielding a pair of swords. His footsteps were near soundless that even Lilian Mo's heightened senses nearly missed him.

Despite its leg being chopped by Lilian Mo, the half-mutant remained standing on its remaining leg and was screeching very angrily at its opponents. It tapped its thigh and in less than a second, a new leg sprouted from the stump, surprising them.

Its regenerative abilities were going to be a problem if they kept on prolonging this fight.

Lu Jingren's eyes flashed with recognition.

Gathering moisture from the air, dozens of water needles surrounded him. With one wave from his hand, those water needles sharpened, transforming into ice needles. All of those ice needles with only one command from him flew towards the half-mutant.

They were expecting it to break against the armorlike red skin but to their surprise, half of the ice needles went in on the half-mutant's arms. It was a sight to see. The red half-mutant was pierced with sharp blue needles like a cushion pin.

The others quickly took this opportunity as they went to send each of their attacks.

With Mizuki Rei's control, sharp air blades pierced through the air, heading for the half-mutant. The half-mutant's eyes flashed even redder as it opened its mouth once again. Lu Jingren was quick to respond and Lilian Mo had noticed that there was ice covering his ears.

She was surprised to see this but she quickly lunged for the half-mutant, wanting to kill it before it could produce another one of its ear-shattering sounds.

Bolts of lightning thundered and it struck her way but Lilian Mo flipped in the air, evading them. The half-mutant chose to delay her since it had already deemed her as a dangerous opponent. As for the ice-wielding human, its gaze was set on it with the urge to kill as if it was looking at prey.

Lu Jingren detected its raging roar that made the others cover their ears, it had also dispersed the Mizuki Rei's air blades as the vibrations its mouth produced were stronger.

"Boss Ren, be careful!" Mu Qianmo shouted while covering his own ears.

"That thing is tougher than it looks." Mizuki Rei cursed, not liking that his air blades had been obstructed.

He moved his hands and sent a torrent of wind towards the half-mutant. Fu Yangzhu also made his own move. Vines shot out from the ground and wrapped themselves around the half-mutant's limbs, straining to hinder its movements.

Mu Qianmo had already gathered a lot of metals again and had shaped them into a pole, intending to cage the half-mutant.

With their combined attacks, the half-mutant was obstructed in its path and Lu Jingren was free to take it on. Using his ice-covered hands that were as sharp as blades, he swung at the half-mutant, drawing first blood. His movements were sharp and swift like a murderous killing machine without emotion.

The half-mutant who was even redder than rubies bled dark blood. It was like a squid's ink, splashing all over the ground and on Lu Jingren's pristine white clothes.

His brows twitched slightly with displeasure. That minuscule movement indicated that he was not happy that he got himself dirty so he moved even faster as if wanting to kill the half-mutant as soon as possible.

Lilian Mo was stunned.

Their coordination was simply amazing.
