Bleach: Darwin’s Hollow(Revamping)

'I continue walking, searching, scavenging, killing, and eating with purpose. I can instinctively feel it. My stomach gnaws at the insatiable hunger I yearn. But rather than being a want, it's a need. The things I reap feels both foreign and yet familiar. Particles seeps inside me as it continues flowing throughout my body. Could it be life? With each being I consume, I can feel my power overflowing.'

Each step is a step forward in order to live. Living without stepping is a rather stagnant life, a life without purpose.

What type of life does the residents of Hueco Mundo live?

A slumped figure walks across the dull sand. Each step of the way had the sand tugging at its grotesque feet.

There lies an open ended hole, positioning itself on his left chest, big enough to fit a fist.

The eyes radiate a bright red; his the blinkless eye seeking prey as it scans the entire area. His claw-like hands flay to the serene breeze which envelops this barren land.

His wide, razor sharp mouth drool ceaselessly.

Above, there lies a cloudless sky and a crescent moon radiating its light upon his waking footprints.

Dashing into the distance, gradually coming closer to the slumped figure, a small, basketball sized creature rolls down a miniature sand hill bumping into him.

Uncurling its figure, the basketball sized creature reveals its undeniably adorable appearance. However adorable it is, it bares its sharp teeth, biting into the left leg of the stilled, slumped figure.

Green liquid started to ooze out of the small creature's mouth, corroding the leg it's chewing on. The look on the hollow's eyes is that of a baby yearning for milk, a look of hunger and desperation. A look the slumped figure has seen way too many times.

Grabbing the neck of the small creature, he crunches onto the head as if it was eating a delicious steak. The small creatures flays it arms and legs in a fit of struggle. But to its demise, the struggle was to no avail. It was pointless in the face of a predator.

With each bite, his left leg which had been bitten was slowly regenerating at a perceivable rate.

He eats till the small creature's body had vanished from his grip.

The slumped figure's body quietly transforms.

The transformation took place where no watchful eyes could see.

His arms and legs formed volcano-like pores, spewing a dense miasma of green.

The leftovers that fell towards the ground started to corrode when it came into contact with his green miasma, reminding of acid.

'What is this?…' A question formed inside the mind of the slumped figure. He felt clueless. There were no answers he could answer at this point of time.

'Hmmm… Weird hills… Where did it come from? How did it manifest?'

But to his dismay, he had neither the connections nor the knowledge. He was left in the dark, not knowing what he was or who he was.

As time passes by, more and more similar beings appear right before his eyes. However, this was the first time he came across a group of three.

They came in different shapes and sizes, and he could tell that these weren't his ordinary foes. Their eyes were just as bright red as his. They sneer, they hideously screech and they yearn for his body.

As they continue gauging his slumped figure's power, they could sniff a delicatable smell coming of his body.

Their mouths twitch, they bare their sharp teeth. Sharp teeth is quite the common occurrence when it comes to mouth structure of these creatures. He notices that and stores that information.

'One hundred and fifteen have sharp teeth…' He calculated, small but within the scope of his knowledge.

Without a signal to note, the group of vicious creatures dash towards him tugging their clawed hands upon the air.

He fends himself by spewing the green miasma around his body, forming a clouded barrier.

As the trio dive into the unknown, the green miasma. With a touch of the green, their bodies started to dissolve, their earsplitting screams intensify, and then, their bodies fell flat on the ground without resistance.

For many years, he had seen a fair share of how these beings who resemble himself die.

But this was the first time he had seen such a petrifying way to die.

'They are vanishing…'

However, a couple of seconds later after observing the dead corpses, their bodies started to twirl, twist and turn, spiral out of proportion, reducing its size and finally, forming a small white ball that would need about ten to fill his mouth completely.

'The smell, it's dangerously good.'

He inspected it with meticulous attention. Knowing that it was harmless, he licked it gauging how delicious it was.

His eyes widen up, his mouth drool ever more.

'This is food.'

He couldn't help it but ate them, gnawing at his hands till nothing was left.

Alarmed, he felt as if the restrictions within his body started to break down. A endless surge of power seeps into his veins, and into his soul.

His body started to increase in size, towering over the desert.

He grew to a height where he could oversee the land at about ten or eleven times his previous height.

It truly felt nice to be tall.

His body has no arms, two massive legs, a black cloak wrapped around his body. On his face, his white mask formed a cone shaped nose. On his black cloak, there were white spikes around the mid section.

But his evolution did not stop there. His arms which he had thought didn't exist revealed itself by opening his black cloak. They were extremely long and big, long enough that he could reach the sand without bending over, big enough that he could crush any creature he saw day to day with ease.

Then came the volcano-like pores forming on his arms and legs. It's size matches his body. The green miasma he could muster out was even denser, pure destructuon.

He could intuitively move the green miasma at his own will. Playing around the green miasma, he took notes on how far he could extend them and at what speeds.

'Fast… And at a usable distance…'

Testing out his new transformation, he traverse the endless desert searching for more creatures.

He passes by many, and many have fallen before they could touch him. The easiness he felt was quite foreign. Especially when killing foes and turning them into pills.

The pills come to me as if he was a magnet. He absorb these pills through his skin, feeling the weird sensation grow inside him.

Each hollow pill has a different shine to it. Some shine brighter than others, some had a hint of redness to it.

More time passes by. Time wasn't something he counts because he has other things to think about.

Feeling extremely powerful at the moment, he wonders across the land in searching for purpose and knowledge.

He had come across some who were at the same height as he was. Towering creatures he calls.

But just as he wants information, none had reciprocated his thoughts. They then perished at his green miasma and the destructive red beam that came outside his mouth.

Somewhere deep inside his mind, he felt a plateau. The sensations that grew inside him increases but the power he gains feels chained, restrictive in its capacity.

As he ventures into the nothingness, he came across oddly powerful beings. They were in pairs and one of them looked at him with disturb in their wrinkled eyes.

"Aye Ronny, come look at this weird Gillian," A muscular creature with a very distinct white mask pointed at the towering figure.

He circled around him, and even caresses the big hands.

'Their mouth can speak? Interesting…'

As Ronny turns his enormous and slender figure around, he was flabbergasted.

"What in the world?! This is the weirdest Gillian I've ever seen! He got the similar features of a Gillian but them arms." The non-aggressive Ronny started to also surround him and be curious at his evolution. With an intrigued expression, he said, "He got them acid forming like clouds coming outside his pores on his arms and legs. Looks peculiar."

As frustrating as it was, he couldn't vocalise his thoughts.

'Gillian? Am I called a Gillian?' Entranced by his new knowledge, he felt at eased being next to these two intellectual beings.

As they had approached him without malicious intent, so did he. They could sense that from him.

They greeted him and asked him if he wanted to join their endeavour to becoming a Vasto Lorde, the ultimate form of Menos Grande. All this information was still foreign to him, but slowly he integrated it into his mind.

The two approachable creatures were Adjuchas, intelligent beings who was a stage higher than he was.
