APOCALYPSE STORY NO TITLE YET

Some time before apocalypse...

In school.

I was going to buy some drinks for my soon-to-be girlfriend and her best friend... Though we still don't know who I will choose to be my girlfriend from the two of them.

Our relationship is too complicated... Both of them are great girls. They became friends and was always together since... like forever. I feel that both wants to support the other to end up being my girlfriend, while they themselves also want me for their selves.

They both love each other so much that it made their feelings for me become conflicted.

And me, the one who they both like. Is in a bind spot, where even choosing one of the two options available is hard for me. I love them both, but I can only choose one. I can only sigh at my predicament.

"Haa... I still can't believe that I took their first time."

I continued walking down the path to the cafeteria as I muttered that unconsciously. I panickedly looked at other people.

"Haa..."

Good thing no one was close enough to hear that. It would've caused a rumor about me. I know that I'm pretty much popular in this school- I mean, I am smart and my awkwardness makes everyone in the school to know me, i think... Oh and I saw that I've become one of the top 5 most handsome male student in our school's website... Yup, I really do stand out.

(But why didn't i have a girlfriend until Althea confessed to me? Must be because I'm even more awkward with girls... Yup that must be it... Then again, it's because the girls are always getting awkward first when they approach me, I think.)

Thats right, no one knows about the complicated relationship between me, My crush Athena, and her best friend Althea. People just think that I've become close friends with them. But the unspeakable truth was that I took both of their first time...

That's right! I took the first time of my soon-to-be girlfriend and her best friend- again, I still don't know who I will choose as my girlfriend. Awesome right?!! Well, you're wrong! It's because of that that I need to think over this deeply! There's also the responsibility that I need to take note of...

While deeply thinking that I need to take responsibility, in the classroom...

"Hey, don't you think that you've become a little bit too close with Gray?" -girl classmate 1

"Yeah, yeah! I want to hear about that too." -girl 2

"I...I think there's an misunderstanding here... We're not that close." -Althea

"Oh come on, you don't need to hide it. I mean let's face it, he doesn't get close to other girls except you guys." -girl 3

Almost everyone in the classroom also joined in on the conversation. Even the boys are curious if their handsome, awkward classmate finally moves to capture all the girls in school- this caused them to be wary of him.

"Yeah! That's right!" "She's right" "Is that walking demon king finally awakening huh?!" "No no no! He's not a demon king, he's more like a hero!" "Nope, that 'Demon King's helping everyone around' is just preparation for him to conquer everything! He's not a hero." "No! He's a hero! And he's more helpful than all boys here!"

Such conversations were heard.

"Umm... Actually, we can't really explain but it's a bit complicated between us. Right Best friend?" -Athena

"Ah..uhm... Yes, it's a bit complicated... And uhm.. I think he is a hero."

"Wha?... I think he becomes more like a demon king when we tease him though..."

"Eh? That's because we tease him too much... And I still think that he's more a hero..."

Althea answered Athena in her small voice. While they were talking, both of them were blushing.

Seeing the two's conversation, everyone looked at them with suspiciousness.

"See!! Aren't you a little... no, too much close?! I mean you can even tease him?!"

While Gray was out both girls were being questioned by their classmates.

After buying the drinks from the vending machine, just as I was turning around to get back to the classroom.

It happened.

A massive headache was occurring to the people all around the world. That's right, all around the world not just the Earth. Earthquakes or should I say spacequakes were happening all around the solar system, it felt like the whole world was vibrating.

Everyone tried their best to resist the pain from making them unconscious. Everyone could not keep up standing on the ground because of the intense pain and earthquake occurring at the same time, they all fell on the floor. It was a good thing that the earthquake they felt on Earth was not too strong as the buildings did not collapse.

But it did not change the fact that there were casualties occurring all around the world just like car crashes, falling from high places, even the air could not escape from the spacequake and shook causing planes and helicopters to crash.

While I was clutching my head from the pain I could hear screams of agony all around me, I took a look at the people around me. They were all on the floor. Some crying, some unconscious, and some are even driven mad.

(Th...this is crazy.. No, this is chaos.)

I didn't even know what I was doing right now. Was I screaming? Was I crying? Everything feels so distant, my conciousness must be fading... I want to die!- surely that was whats going on in my mind.

It did not stop even after awhile.

Some minutes passed, and I don't even know how much time but it finally stopped. I opened my eyes and saw something unbelievable, some people were unconscious and some not. And some were dead...

Blood was flowing around the ground and you could see people injured.

(Looks like they could not endure and started punching the grounds or something)

My mind was in a mess that I could think normally. Surely anyone would panic after seeing this, but strangely my mind was so calm.

The worst part was that some were banging their heads and lost their lives.

Just as I was about to move. I heard a loud voice ringing in my head.

"Embrace the darkness!! fuhaha!!"
