The Start of a Love Triangle

2 months before earth got connected to hell...

(Wh...why did this happen?) I am on top of two girls right now.

One who confessed her love to me and the other is her best friend, my crush.

Looking at the two's faces, they were flushed red with embarassment.

My crush spoke.

"Umm... S..sorry if we made you angry."

The other girl also apologized.

"Umm... M..me t..too, we were just teasing you..."

They shyly tried to avoid my eyes. But when the girls eyes met each other, they became even more embarrassed and looked away immediately.

"A..Althea is getting embarrassed."

"Wha!.. I...it's you who's embarrassed Athena!"

I gulped unconsciously. These two looks so cute right now.

Before that happened.

I Gray Jagger was reading a book in the girl's apartment. They both rented and lived together in this apartment since the start of highschool.

They both invited me because they want us to know each others more... Well, before even this happened.

A month ago, I was called out by two girls from my class... Athena Maya who is my crush and her best friend Althea Celestine.

Athena is a friendly, bright, and lovely girl. While Althea is a little bit of a shy type and has a soothing character.

They're both smart girls and they are like made for each other with how compatible they are. Even their names almost sounds exactly the same.

While I am just an awkward boy.

(I mean, who would want to be with someone as awkward as me?) Is what I always thought. But...

To my surprise, Althea actually just confessed to me. It seems like she came with her best friend because she was shy to talk to me alone.

At that point, my mind was in a panic. I didn't know how to answer.

(I mean, come on... My crush is here listening to the confession. I don't know what to do with my feelings here... I want to answer and accept her because this would be the only chance someone awkward as me could get a girlfriend... But then again, I don't want to betray her feelings especially when her best friend is my crush and that would make us converse with each other more.)

Staying silent for a while, my awkwardness suddenly came and...

I didn't answer her but instead confessed my feelings to my crush.. Athena.

A lot happened to us in that month. We spent a lot of time together but it was mostly awkward because of our relationship. Athena wanted to bring me and Althea together because her best friend loves me, while Althea wanted to bring me close with Athena because she was her best friend and I loved her.

It was a complicated relationship.

The girls talked to each other. I was just quietly listening to their conversation while reading a book and would sometimes answer them.

(I've been to their apartment a lot lately. But this time, they've invited me to know each other.)

Suddenly, silence came in...

(Seems like they finished their conversation.)

My mind was a mess. It was so awkward that no one was saying anything. I tried to think of ways to break the ice. But before I could...

"Hey, say something."

"Uwaah..?!"

My crush(Athena) poked her fingers to my side. I was caught off guard which caused me to raise a funny scream.

"Wahaha! What was that? You screamed like a little girl, haha..."

"I.. I was surprised okay? Why did you even poked me, huh?!"

The both of them laughed, which made me embarrassed.

"Come on, 'Thea. Let's attack him."

"Okay!"

Because of my awkwardness they would sometimes tease me. And this time they are tickling me because I was quietly reading a book.

"H..hey. Stop it! Hahaha!!"

"You got two beauties with you right now so stop wasting your time reading a book and talk to us."

"'Thena is right Gray, you should speak more."

"Whaha! O..okay!! Just stop, please!"

"Too late! Show no mercy, Best friend! Hahah..."

"No mercy, 'Thena. Hahah..."

The tickling continued for a while.

"That's it!! S...stop it right... now!!"

I grabbed both of their arms and pinned them down...

A while passed with us not moving...

"U...umm."

Althea suddenly spoke.

"G.. Gray who do you choose me or Athena?"

"T..that's right Gray. We want to know."

I went silent for a moment and...

"I...I don't want to answer. And I... I like you both."

We all went silent. I looked at their faces and kissed Althea. Athena looked at us jealously while still under my arms. After kissing 'Thea, I also kissed Athena and said to them.

"I want both of you..."

They both blushed even more under my arms. Even though I'm awkward, I'm still a man.
