Chapter 10_ The flight

At a shop, a man in his late sixties was examining the wristwatch. He confirmed it was pure gold worth over 1000,000 won. He wondered where they could get such expensive wristwatch from but anyway it was a good business for him as he decided to use them. "100,000won"

"What? 100,000won? This cost over 500,000 won."

"500,00 won you said. Well, l only have 100,000 won, are you selling or not?"

"Let's live here." she said to Min-Jun and they made to leave but stop when the man voice came up.

"I assume you both are thieves."

"What?" Both Min-Jun and the strange girl exclaimed as they stopped.

"Tell me, who you stole it from? You've five minutes to do that or I called the cops on both of you."

"What? We didn't steal it, it was from him." She said pointing to Min-jun. "We are only selling it due to some situation."

He looks at Min-jun. He was facing the floor with the cap and nose mark on reliving only his eyes. "With the way he is looking one could tell he's a thief. Tell me boy, where did you get it from? Be honest with me and I can consider pardoning you both."

She stares at him waiting for his reply but was disappointed when he didn't utter a single word.

"You've two minutes remaining. I won't call the cops if you agreed to sell it me on that price. Due to my soft heart I can add 100,000 won in addition making it a total of 200,000 won."

"Let go." she angrily ordered. "Let just sell it." Min-Jun muttered.

"Pardon?"

Min-Jun collected the wrist watch from her and gave it to the man. He quickly gave them the money.

"Let go" Min Jun said but she stood in Surprise staring at him. He then grabs her hand and pulled her away with him. The man gives a selfish laughter as the left.

They only walked few miles away before she forcefully removed her hand from his while giving him a glared. "Tell me, did you steal the wrist watch?"

"You should forget about that..."

"Did you steal the wristwatch?" She roared crossly, looking up at his face.

"No! I've my reason for playing a victim. I just don't want to explain because I if I do, he won't believe me and you won't either. Trust me, I didn't steal the watch. It was given to me by someone special I wouldn't want to expose." He explained.

She was relieved as he explained. "Let go get something to eat, I'm famished." He added.

At the canteen, they sit outside feeding on burgers and chilled milkis mango juices. Min-Jun notices she doesn't like the juices. "What's wrong, you don't like it?"

She nodded her head. "It tastes like mango."

"It's mango. What, you don't like mango?"

She nodded her head again. "So, how will you contact your business partner?"

"What business part..... Oh, yeah, that true. I think I don't have any way to contact them. Even if I get a new phone I don't have their phone number neither have I see this people before."

"You're right. Maybe you should go back home."

"That right." Min-Jun murmured.

After eating, they spit the money into equal parts and she departed.

Min-Jun sat back and sighs. He looks at the money. It's barely enough to Lodge at an average hotel for just one week and to feed. How is he ever going to survive once the money is finished?

Ha-ri was ready to leave for the airport. Si-woon has promise to come pick her up to the airport. She stands outside her apartment with her luggage patiently waiting for Si-woon. The weather of the day was quite hot she decided to wait on Si-Woon. She just wanted to do just this last thing for him so as not to hurt his feelings. Actually, Si-woon was the last person she could want to see before her departure because she felt Si-woon was the cause of the devilish acts and crime she has committed that brought such fate upon Min-Jun but she decided to hide the hatred she has suddenly developed for him and make a fake smile cover it all. It's going to be the last time she will be seeing his demon two faces after all.

Si-woon soon arrived. "Sorry I'm late." He apologized as he gets down from the car. "It okay, I was just coming out either." Ha-ri replied putting on the best she could fake. Si woon help her with her luggage then they entered the car and drove straight to the airport.

"I have to go now." Ha-ri said as her flight was announced. "Take care of yourself and focus on your dreams. Never you give up or be a lazy leader, okay." Ha-ri advised in addition.

He nodded and opened his arms for a hug but Ha-ri ignored him as she said instead, "Fighting!" changing the atmosphere.

"Fighting." he dropped his hand and repeated a little embarrassed. Ha-ri walked away while he wave at her painfully, watching her leave.
