The pond's water was quite deep, a little too deep for Yue, who hung from Tomoya's neck, her fangs sunk into her neck. "Little Vamp, you seem to be trying to suck me dry." 

"Hehe." Yue pulled back and licked her lips. "Tomo's taste is amazing." 

Tomoya gulped, looking into these seductive eyes. She leaned in closer to Yue's face, who was staring expectantly back at her. When their lips touched, Yue automatically pushed her tongue inside Tomoya's mouth. The fox girl and the vampire sat stood in the pond, tongues intertwining. 

Tomoya never thought that her first kiss with the main heroine of Arifureta would come so soon. He thought it would take longer to win the Loli Vamp's heart, but just like Hajime, she fell for her easily. 

Tomoya grabbed Yue's butt and lifted her up higher so that Yue was now looking down at her. Their lips parted with a string of saliva that glittered in the dim lighting, connecting the two.

"Very sweet," Yue said softly as she lowered her head more to go in for another kiss, but just as things were starting to heat up, the water of the pond began to ripple violently. 

Tomoya did not hesitate to jump out and onto shore using her skills. She quickly put on her clothes while Yue did the same and readied her sword. She had to keep her senses on her surroundings. If she had lost herself anymore in the seduction of the Loli Vamp, she might have gotten a game over! 

"Yue, stay behind me and ready your magic just in case." Tomoya gave out orders, which was the norm between the two. Yue nodded and formed many balls of blue flames around her. This was something she came up with after seeing Tomoya slay monsters with her sword that could spread out like a spider web. She wanted something similar, so she took her azure blaze spell and broke it down into a spell she could multi-cast and still keep a tenth of its power per smaller version. It also took much less mana. 

The ripples in the water started to become more violent as the seconds ticked by, until finally…. "Roar!"

A large two-headed hydra appeared from under the surface of the pond. Each head had eyes that resembled the crystals that surrounded the pond. One with blue eyes, while the other had purple eyes. These eyes glowed and dimmed off and on, just like the crystals around them. 

"What the hell is that!?" Tomoya never heard of such a monster in the story! There was the hydra at the end, but not a two-headed one like this! 

"Tomo, should we run?" Yue asked as she stared at the monster ahead of them.

"I would like to say yes, but…." Tomoya could not let such a big bag of experience go!

"Tomo, you are smiling." Yue grinned as she saw the crazed smile on Tomoya's face.

"Am I?" Tomoya touched her face. She had not even noticed it. "Haha!" She let out a laugh as she calmed her emotions slightly. "It seems the abyss will make a person crazy. Then again, you would need to be nuts to be diving into the abyss in the first place!"

Tomoya had long noticed the change in her own personality. She was no longer the shut-in otaku who wanted nothing but to add more figurines to her collection and watch anime all day. While she still wished to do that, she now found it very thrilling to hunt monsters and kill them. While her stats allowed her to do these things easily, in the beginning, she almost died hundreds of times trying to learn how to fight. Now, months into her dive, she had really honed her skills.

"Crazy Tomo is sexy too!" Yue felt that this was Tomoya's true nature. She was a battle maniac. While she probably did not notice it until now, she always had a smile on her face every time she fought a monster. She would complain about almost dying here and there, but she never once not smiled as she fought. Even if she was hurt, her smile did not disappear but seemed to have deepened. 

"Oh? Finally decided to be forthright with your feelings?" Tomoya asked.

 "Mmm. We kissed, so we are now together." Yue replied. "Let's kill this and finish what we started."

"Little Vamp, we will need to wait until we reach the bottom floor. Danger lurks all around us. Even If I was to make a barrier around us, it might not be all that helpful." Sadly, she could not level up her skills like Hajime did. She could only gain her own skills that leveled up, and Hajime, who had just started out, was, well… still weak, so she kind of offed him at a bad time.

It was probably the only chance she would have been able to kill the MC on this world. Luckily, she did, or she would not have been able to woo the Loli Vamp.
