This new twist made it a whole lot more interesting. A lot of these guys have Trauma; or psychological issues in their origin story. Though, some of them likely need an entirely new identity; instead of a good lawyer and good press.

THIS is Batman! I really think the author understands WHO the characters are in DC. They got Superman down perfectly too! The hopeful bastion of truth. And Batman, the cynic but realist who BELIEVES in the system and rehabilitation. It is also why he never kills. Because the true system is about giving second chances where it is deserved.
