I'm mildly curious how she will react; once he accomplishes doing to Bal what he did to Meridia. Think the two will be petty enough; to team up against him? Not sure- Since the interlude after he stole Dawnbreaker; suggested Bal was busy taking the opportunity to torture/rape the weakened Meridia.
Eh, Ideally there'd be a healthy amount of respect; on top of the fear of consequences. Generally, rebellion is rooted in desperation; unless said person is totally incapable of thinking through his actions. In any case- Ravel was clearly just an excuse to act. The party was a setup from the beginning; with Asia being used as bait.
Hopefully, it will help him do a few tasks for her. Not even Gaunter O'Dimm; wanted to mess with Ciri's fate. That Goddess is likely- is expending far more than he thinks; helping out Yemnefer even this much. With Gaunter potentially being a near omnipotent Eldritch entity; with the Stephen King reference... She may very well be gambling everything on him.
If I had to guess... Asia is going to be an excuse to kill Diadora; without Riser sticking his neck out for Rias. Tbh, I'd prefer the marriage to go through; and find out about Diadoras habits via experience- So, she can reveal it to her brother; and get some needed character development.
Debatable, is this before the Djinn in canon? Their original love story was forced if I recall; and arguably they eventually naturally fell in love- Unless the player chooses the Triss or Nobody/Both route...
Fair... This one's personality makes him unlikable- But I did mention her sexuality at this point is "Anyone she finds interesting". The typical harem protagonist who wants to basically own his harem; wouldn't fit a free spirited fallen angel like Layla anyway. She'd need someone like Lucifer, or Wade; as those are people more likely to accept a reverse harem. Tbh I don't really care much. I just wanna see more chaos. The smut is basically just filler chapters anyways.
Killing Layla's not going to magically turn them into heterosexuals anyway. Not to mention Layla could easily solve his problem; with her orb of anywhere. Dude just got evidence of an entire multiverse full of potential wives... Tbh, I wouldn't put it past Layla herself; to have a bit of fun with him herself. Her sexuality is sort of an "Anyone that interests her"; with an appreciation leaning to the female form at this point.
Something about the clashes between the DC mentality; and the Warhammer warrior mentality is addicting. You just know it's going to be a rollercoaster for the league; and villains. So long as he plays the long game; and cosmic beings don't interfere early on- Everyone's just going to have to ride the waves he makes.
Uh, Technically didn't he do all of the above if you consider the original vampire plot; ever if in a less exaggerated manner? He killed multiple dragons picking up Thorum, confronted Nocturnal, technically came close to death via Daedric Princes, Gods and Scathach's driving(XD) - Finally, The Elder Scroll could consitute a prophecy he has fulfilled.
This chapter is a copy paste of the last chapter; and mislabelled. I think the actual preparations chapter got skipped somehow- and you posted the intended chapter sixteen for this arc twice. At this point I'd just upload 17; and Update the book to include the missed chapter later. The time gap wasn't really bad enough to interrupt flow.
Aren't Bloodborn God's literally Eldritch beings? Ishtar really has no idea what she's getting into- She essentially picked a fight; the Outer God version of Doom Slayer. Considering the average Outer God is essentially; just a monotheistic godlike entity scaled down to make room for a Hierarchy- she's absolutely utterly screwed. Idk if I would even spend the effort if I was Gaia; since Ishtar basically dug her own grave.
Also mildly curious how Clark's going to use a shotgun of all things; to threaten someone who's quite literally courting Death. It's like choosing a nerf gun- To shoot a tank... Especially since Clark could probably flick people harder.
I'm cool with that... Assuming he doesn't sparkle.
