From author to author, the best tip I can give you about creative block is to take a break. Rest, watch movies, read a book, go for a walk, usually the cause of creative block is mental fatigue, and most of the time the person is not even aware of their own fatigue. Other option would be to take a break from writing, and organize what you've already writed such as organizing the characters, places, and events that have occurred in the book so far. This will help you get a much better idea of the future narrative and what paths you'll be able to take from the point you left off. I haven't read the fan-fic yet, I just wanted to leave this suggestion of mine.
Zombie apocalypse. A smart MC. An MC in a relationship... This has already gone above and beyond the standards of the website. PLUS! The grammar is actually pretty good! I might be biased since I'm writing this at midnight, but overall this story is entertaining and fun to read, which is all that really matters. Right?
