There's a different story with this entire premise. MC was given powers, but was super ungrateful and even arrogant towards God, something along the lines of "one day going to overthrow you with these powers".... So God wiped him from existence, and gave it to someone else who became the new MC!... The name of the story escapes me, it's been a while.

Survive the longest (usually), reach high business and government positions.... Greatest thing I remember reading was "honest men don't make good politicians in a field where deals are dealt in lies"

I am becoming increasingly convinced that the protagonist believes he's dreaming, or somehow in a virtual elden ring.

Fight as a mortal. An immortal... Mortal. Upgrade weapons, select the best armour you can wear. Repeat over, and over, and over, and over, until it is done.

Seeing people happy for a chapter and my writing makes me think "wow, I might actually be a pretty decent writer!", lol

Grots = Gretchin, for anyone who didn't know what "Grots" meant. The word 'grots' is used by larger orks instead of Gretchin, in their usual orkish ways.
