Big Yeeeaaar
The overall idea of the novel is good, it's the reason I gave this a novel a try but 2 major things have made it so I'm hesitant to continue... 1 - although not bad so far, the mc has shown foreshadowing of becoming another happy go lucky, plot armour, arrogant mc that this site is famous for, he hasn't done anything to fall into that category yet but the way it has been written and the way the mc thinks and reacts to the things happening to him are way to similar to those sort of novels this site is famous for (perhaps I'm being paranoid to be fair). 2 - (and honestly this is the main reason) the fact that it has become locked at chapter 5 is mindboggling, It is way to early to tell if this is a novel I want to commit and pay for. I'm already somewhat skeptical about how it will be progress for the reasons stated above, so with that kind of mindset how am I going to pay and continue such a novel. If there is anybody who has gone on ahead and read the chapters 5+ please tell me if it is worth paying for to read, the premise of the novel is really interesting to me and I'm just hoping it doesn't digress into those brain dead plot armour story's. But until I know I'm not willing to pay, I've been burned to much on this site
it is pretty good, though there isnt much basis for me to be saying this since there are only 4 chapters out right now. the system has a lot of potential, at least imo, and it seems like an interesting story. does it have romance or harem? idk. even so, if there is harem i hope its good at least. I already like the general vibe of the novel, so i hope this one is further translated.
First of all, this is stupid. Immortal cultivation run on some sort of energy from world. So, you are dead if you are in a void where there is no energy for you to stop. In that regard, martial arts are more reliable that they are breaking your limits not borrowing strength from the world to work around limits. Second, by cultivating, you are absorbing energy of the world, meaning, you are giving yourself to the world for longevity. So, you are just a glorified slave of the world. Sure, in your world, you will be pretty strong but what if you are in another world? You would just be some ordinary guy. Third, you are limiting yourself. You can only advance when heaven allow you to whereas martial artists can break through with enough hard work.
Damn Is it just me but i feel like the MC is very similar to the one in " Everybody is Kung Fu Fighting, While I Started a Farm".Even the world setting share many similarities at least till the first 30 ch till where i read. Like that same dumb op mc who interprets everything in retarded ways though tht's probably to add a comedic undertone to the usual cultivation stories.....
Good translation speed, world building, characterization, plot development...really, Everything is good except the MC. I don’t get why that is. Side characters are great, but the MC seems to not be tethered at all! He’s the type of MC that’s selfish, stupid, stubborn and arrogant but genuinely believes that he’s DOING GOOD despite causing world-wide (economic, politic, and social) disasters, misery, and destroying innocent lives all over the place. A bad sexist hypocrite at his finest. At this point, I honestly believe that it’s only plot armour that prevents the rest of humanity from banding together and eliminating him before he causes more harm.
