A very enjoyable read with a concept I really love. Only issue is that the novel has been super face paced and concise with you finishing a whole semester full of school, a midterm and a dungeon in 13 chapters. If you wish to continue writing the novel you should be aware that you are paid by the number of words that's why most writers have super long and very descriptive chapters with absolutely no substance.

the majority of the new novels coming out on the trails now are just Chinese novels being reskinned with American character but it rarely works out because of just how patriotic these novels are originally because writers don't want the police knocking on there door for saying something bad about china

Couldn't find the translation for this novel so it may be an original but the concept is so overdone on Chinese webnovel sites that you can find several of them with the same premise, execution, theme . For anyone who wants to, just put 年 (meaning year) on the faloo.com's search engine and you can find dozens of novels that have concepts of someone going to another world and staying absolutely lowkey till he's gotten so powerful that nothing in the world can stop them.

I'm pretty sure its going in the same direction as Epoch: A Berserker's Rise where the world used to be one full of cultivators till it got separated for whatever reason and the VR headset sends there spirits to this lower world and some God or whatever is creating the avatars for the players to resurrect from.
