Are arch wizards so common that a simple count can have 2? And multiple diamond knights on top of that? I feel like the power scaling is getting a bit off atm. Arc wizard is the same rank as the headmaster isn't it? one rank below grand wizard...
Question for the translator... does this go like an actual dc fic? As in the characters act like the original selves or do they act and speak like a Chinese story? (You know, "can't see Mount tai" "bowing your head" "typical young master type personalities" "slapping/saving face" and so on?) I don't see anything wrong with it as it's made for a different type of people and culture so it would be a good choice to alter it for the intended audience but I typically avoid western based fics when they are like that as I'm not the intended audience and am looking for ones that are made with western customs in mind (I.e., true to the original stories I know).
Can't wait, I'm also looking forward to the mc no longer holding back. Deathstoke most likely won't except that and where batman taught him tactics, techniques and control, he will most likely teach the mc ruthless efficiency. Mc is going to be a beast as this will also probably take months even years being undercover and his powers are still growing... I imagine it would be a omni man type situation, raw domination and seemingly invincible. Also Can't wait when he finally fly's. Dunno why but flying has always appealed to me, if I could fly I would rarely ever walk again just float everywhere looking down on everyone :p ... yes that's a bit edgy
Honestly I personally don't want raven to go with him, idw I just want it to be his thing yaknow? I always pictured raven as the protective shield the mc left behind to pick up the pieces of the shattered feelings his family will be in. His sister is gonna take this hard... really hard, Oliver will too and so will the team to an extent (especially robbin). Raven who is in the mission and is already close with all of them, plus her closeness with the mc would be a perfect person to look after them and stop them when they indanger his mission. Like this it would be a perfect team, one on both sides to keep everything in check while batman keeps the league in check. Plus when the mc eventually fights the team and even the league her telepathic powers would be a very good way to pass information without being caught (during a fight no one will notice).
If the mc does eventually go under cover I think it would be good to lay the ground work before the time comes. Little things like how frustrated he is for always holding back and being under control, distancing himself from his sister and Oliver because of their codling and meddling and even how he feels annoyed at having to babysit the justice leagues kids for them instead of joining the league as he should. Of course all of this isn't true and it shouldn't be obvious, only if someone is like deathstoke who is constantly watching and observing would notice. This would make it alot more easier for the light and deathstoke to believe they were the ones who turned him "into the light" so to speak. (Just a suggestion, don't have to mind it as you seem to be doing great job already)
How high is David's physical strength atm? I feel like it's definitely high up and combined with his insane training and martial arts, sports master must have at least several broken bones and internal bleeding no? No matter how wonky yj is with power levels, sportsmaster doesn't have superhuman powers. He's way above even trained athletes and he most likely knows how to take as little damage as possible when he does get hit which explains how he goes toe to toe with superhumans but the mc's own training would definitely make up for that. What I'm saying is it would make more sense that he retreated because of the solid hits the mc got on him (which caused injuries like broken bones, internal damage and so on) he was forced to flee like he did. He's just too tough to show it and put up a front and is trained enough to power through them while he escapes. ...that or the mc was pulling his punches like superman does, but I liked the first option better
he could not help but think of the love of his life*
I hate it when I read mc's who actually give up their weapon in that situation. Its literally the stupidest move to make, you've given any leverage you had away the moment to chose to surrender. What's to stop him from killing the girl and then the mc now that the mc has lost most of his power and threat? (I get he probably has a hidden weapon that the smithy made but still think its very risky) While it might seem dangerous and scary, he should have kept the sword and shown absolute strength and confidence, thereby making the enemy wary of making any real moves to harm the hostage. After all, if they tried to hurt or kill the hostage what is stopping you from going crazy and attacking?
I don't understand how someone who's strength is measured in tons and can more at super sonic speed would benefit in any way from training with a swordsman of all people. Nor do I understand how it's possible for him to lose... his speed and reflexes would make the guy look like he is barely moving no?
I wonder if the mc will se some of the eternal? Though whether he meets them will be up in the air... it would make sense to just see them from a far as I'm guessing only those with high status or talent would interact with them in some way (like the party we see them at in the movie, those people were definitely higher class than others)
