Honestly, the plot doesn't really make much sense to me. Neither the MC nor the side characters make any logical decisions considering the situation. To be clear, I don't expect a mc who always does the right thing, far from that, but the decision of this MC make no sense at all. He sometime acts like he's super powerful and can do what he wants, but then he obeys literally anyone.
I only read up to chapter 50ish because the plot became so outlandish I didn't feel like reading it anymore. So maybe the story become drastically better afterward.
The story is decent if you are bored, but don't expect a great read like Kingdom's Bloodline or Paragon of Destruction.
Otherwise, the story is well translated/written, which is partly why I picked up the novel.
If I had any comments for the author, it's that the story has a lot of potential, but I would try to deepens the MC in his beliefs and goals and I would try to the side characters more believable.
