I'm sorry to say that, but the Japan arc ruined the novel. At first when he landed on the island it was a very interesting story even though mc was kind of dumb. But the moment mc met some people he suddenly became retarded. He put himself in needless danger and became the Emperor's errand boy despite the fact that he didn't need his help to go back to his country since he could simply FLY. And don't tell me that he could get lost since he could just find a map or a GPS simply by buying it or taking it by force since he is kind of overpowered. There are tons of small issues in the novel but i won't be listing all of them here since it's a waste of time. Please don't delete this review since i can just post it here again. And if you will keep deleting it i Will just post it as a comment on other reviews.

He did not feel himself in any danger at all. secondly, what he did , was to stop a war between two countries. lastly, he was worried that the kraken and sharks were not the only ones out and about. he was worried about the dragons and anyhitng stronger than the dragons too.
yup hhe was afraid of the dragons and the megalodon but during the journey from the island to japan he killed hundreds of megalodon in just one strike ! when everybody were having dificulty killing a single megalodon he could simply have flew the way back to america occasionally stopping to rest on some island but instead he knelt to pay respect to the king of japan (he is from america not japan) and then cleared 5 most dangerous dungeons of japan for free

I feel as if the story's narrative tension almost completely disappeared at around chapter 400.
well, even if few other parts seem a bit reasonable when i force myself to accept whatever bs reason i can think of.... the part where he actually knelt infront of the emperor even when he had the power to on shot the whole palace, i got so irritated that i almost stopped reading. then when he accepted to clear all the remaining dungeons (he didn't know there were only 5, what if there were 15 or more... didn't he simply do free labour. even if he got the loots, i still didn't like it) well anyways, after that i started Bing reading while skip a lot of contents... and then i didn't see any progress, so i stopped reading.... I am just venting my frustrations here about how a novel with such good potential became trash( according to my perspective, some might still like it 🤷🏼♂️)
