That's true. Most villains were created from the heroes lack of awareness. Anything bad that can happened could be prevented if people were smart enough of their mistake and lackluster response. Batman is trapped in his own fantasy of justice that he forgot that he created more enemies for him due to his vigilante action. His deeds of punishing crime sometimes is a recipe for potential disaster to sprung up in the future. Superman is a naive idiot that don't know the dark side of humanity. His naivety had caused Lex Luthor to antagonized him even more when the two could be best friends. Luthor don't have a good childhood moments but he did grow up to be independent and mature later on and even help some. But like you said author, Clark just push him away.
Guys, does the sun empower Kryptonians? Yes, but if a Kryptonian who has never received radiation from the sun is thrown towards a yellow star, he will just die. Kryptonians are living beings, they are just a different race, they also have limitations. If you use an argument that superman became a god after absorbing energy from the sun. I tell you: This happened through several years of exposure to sunlight. If Kal-El was thrown into the sun when he was a child or an *****, he would die, he is not the sun god or something, he is just an alien who uses the sun's radiation to use his powers.
I dont understand why mc was crying and grieving for the guy. This was after the fact he and the whole race was betrayed by him. Also, he had just learned that the dude was going to kill him and everyone on board. I get he was his teacher, but its weird that someone specifically created to be an emperor for Krypton and who strives to Bring it back to its Former glory and so much more would cry for killing somebody who was going to kill the remaining rest of the race (including civilians). He sent a baby Kal or Clark with the codex to a planet where he could have been enslaved. Add this with his other crimes, why Would MC cry and grief (as stated in the chapter) for such a man????
man jor-el is stupid his son would be forced to save humanity for every small crime all over the world for his whole life, than he wanted to kill off his race and make sure to give the codex to someone who wont use it thats like a human killing all humans your race need to survive its just like war it happens between two countries for resources, land, etc its like an american helping the other side of the war and vice versa thats just traiterous he wasnt helping anyone he was just a delusional fool.
Well , nonetheless it's character development ,i guess. Wait,if the ship fall on the star why would they die? Wouldn't they all gain a power boost? Is this some Easter egg for our mc to try to go near the sun and he realizes it gives power? And he uses it to power up to universal level being? Well,im waiting!!!
