Su Hui was from Fufeng during the Northern and Southern Dynasties. She was both talented and beautiful, and was the ancestor of palindromic poems. She married Dou Tao, the governor of Qinzhou, but later, Dou Tao fell in love with the singer Zhao Yangtai and the couple became estranged. Su Hui missed her husband and created the Xuanji Painting. The Xuanji Painting was composed of 840 words (later generations added the word "heart" in the middle to form an 841-word version). These words were cleverly woven into poems. No matter how you read it, you could read it horizontally or diagonally. You could interpret more than 7000 poems, including three, five, six, seven, and so on. Su Hui sent the Xuanji Painting to Dou Tao. Dou Tao was obsessed with deciphering the poems in it. In the end, he was moved by Su Hui's talent and deep affection. He sent away his concubine and took Su Hui to live with him. The couple loved each other until they grew old.
Su Hui was a female poet of the Qin Dynasty during the Sixteen Kingdoms period. Her husband, Dou Tao, was the governor of Qinzhou. Dou Tao had a favorite concubine, Zhao Yangtai. His wife and concubine were not on good terms. When Dou Tao went to Xiangyang to take office, Su Hui did not go with him. Su Hui, who stayed alone in the empty room, was deeply remorseful, so she created Xuanji Painting. "Xuanji Painting" has a total of 840 words (excluding the "heart" character added by later generations in the center of the original poem), with 29 words in both vertical and horizontal, which can form about 7958 poems. The poems have three, four, five, six, and seven words. Its square matrix vertical, horizontal, oblique, alternating, positive, reverse reading or backward one word, overlapping one word reading can become a poem. Su Hui embroidered the Xuanji Painting on the brocade and sent it to Dou Tao. After Dou Tao read it, he sent it back to Zhao balcony and solemnly received Su Hui back. The couple loved each other as before. Later generations also called the Xuanji Painting "Jinshu" or "Jinzi Shu". This was the allusion of Su Hui's palindromic poems.
Su Shi had a lot of famous palindromic poems, among which,"Inscription on the Jinshan Temple" was more famous. The poem described the scenery of Jinshan from evening to dawn: " The tide follows the dark waves and the snowy mountains, and the fishing boat fishes for the moon in the distance. The bridge faces the temple gate, and the pine path is small, and the stone waves at the mouth of the spring are clear. The green trees are far away, the river is bright, the sea is red and the sun is clear. Looking at the four sides of the clouds and the water, the green peaks are light." Reading backwards, it presented the beautiful scenery from dawn to evening: " The light gulls count thousands of peaks, and the water meets the clouds. On a sunny day, the sea is red and misty, and the trees on the river are green in the morning. Qingbo stone eye spring is the threshold, the path is Songmen Temple opposite the bridge. The fishing boat in the bright moon is far away, and the snow and waves are dark with the tide." In addition, his "Bodhisattva Man·Palindromic Spring's Regret" wrote: "The green curtain is slanted and the clouds hang down the ears, and the earlobe cloud curtain is slanted and green." Spring Festival Gala, late spring. Fine pear flowers fall from the snow, falling from the snow pear flowers are fine. Who do you think of?" The poem expressed the resentment of the spring boudoir. It was read in chapters and sentences, full of unique beauty.
Su Shi had many palindromic poems. The more famous one was "The Horse Flies Back to the Flower Appreciation". The original text was "The horse flies back to the flower appreciation, and when the wine is slightly awake, it is already late." The palindromic poem could be changed to "The horse flies back to the flower appreciation, and when the wine is slightly awake, it is already late. When the wine is slightly awake, it is already late to enjoy the flower appreciation." The text was beautiful and vivid, depicting the scenery of going out to enjoy the flowers and play. In addition, his "Bodhisattva Man·Palindromic Xia boudoir resentment"(Liu Ting Feng Jing people sleep during the day, daytime sleep people Jing Feng Ting Liu. Fragrant sweat thin clothes cool, cool clothes thin sweat fragrance. The lotus root was served in a bowl of ice with red hands, and the lotus root was served in a bowl of ice with red hands. Lang Xiao, Long Silk Lotus Root, Long Silk Lotus Root Xiao Lang) was also more famous. Through palindromic forms, it wrote about the lovesickness and resentment of summer women.
Su Shi had many famous palindromic poems, and it was difficult to determine which one was the most famous. For example, the more famous "Inscription on the Jinshan Temple Hui Wen Style" read,"The tide follows the dark waves and the snow mountain tilts, and the fishing boat fishes for the moon in the distance." The bridge faces the temple gate, and the pine path is small, and the stone waves at the mouth of the spring are clear. The green trees are far away, the river is bright, the sea is red and the sun is clear. Looking at the four sides of the clouds and the water, the green peaks are light." Read "The light gulls count thousands of peaks, the water meets the clouds and looks far away." On a sunny day, the sea is red and misty, and the trees on the river are green in the morning. Qingbo stone eye spring is the threshold, the path is Songmen Temple opposite the bridge. The fishing boat in the bright moon is far away, and the snow and waves are dark with the tide." The poem described the scenery of Jinshan in the middle of the river from evening to dawn, and when read backwards, it described the beautiful scenery from dawn to evening. It was smooth and fluent, with novel diction, distinct layers, stable antithesis, harmonious tone, and no axe marks. Another example is "Bodhisattva Man·Hui Wen Chun's boudoir resentment":"The green curtain is inclined to the ear, and the earlobe cloud curtain is inclined to the green." Spring Festival Gala, late spring. Fine pear flowers fall from the snow, falling from the snow pear flowers are fine. Who do you think of?" It also had a unique artistic charm.
Here are some examples of palindromic poems with four sentences: "Empty flowers fall and wine is poured into the vat. The sun rises and the snow melts and the river rises. Red baked shallow pot new fire, dragon group small rolling clear window." [Reading backwards]" The window is clear and the small dragon is crushed. The new fire is slightly red. The river rises and the snow melts on the mountain. The wine in the jar is emptied and the flowers are empty." There was also the saying," The wind in the willow courtyard calms people to sleep during the day, and the wind in the willow courtyard calms people to sleep during the day." The fragrant sweat is thin and the clothes are cool. The cold clothes are thin and the sweat is fragrant." Wait. These palindromic poems were read into chapters and sentences, showing the unique artistic charm of palindromic poems.
Deciding which palindromic poem was the simplest and most subjective. Different people might have different opinions. However, judging from the structure and difficulty of understanding, Su Boyu's wife's "Pan Shi" may be relatively simple. It is considered to be an existing palindromic poem, presented in a special arrangement of the characters on the plate. It can be read forward and backward into a poem, and the emotion and content expressed are relatively straightforward. There were also some such as "Withered eyes looking at the distant mountains and rivers, how many times have you seen them?" The pot is empty, afraid to drink a glass of wine, it is difficult to write a rhyme poem. The road is blocked, people leave for a long time, no wild goose sent back late. The lonely night guard is lonely. The husband misses his wife, and the father misses his son." It read," Children miss their fathers, wives miss their husbands. Lonely night lights are lonely." Late return to send wild goose no news, long farewell people block the road. It is difficult to write poems and poems, and I am afraid that the wine cup will be empty. I've seen and seen my close friends, and I've seen and seen them. I've seen and seen them in the distance, and my eyes have dried up." This kind of palindromic poem was clear in meaning, and its structure was more orderly, making it relatively easy to understand.
The evaluation of palindromic poems was highly subjective. Different people might have different opinions because of their personal literary taste, cultural background, and other factors. For example, Su Shi's palindromic poems were highly praised. For example,"Bodhisattva Man·Xia's Boudoir Resentment":"The wind in the willow courtyard calms people to sleep during the day, and the wind in the willow courtyard calms people to sleep during the day." Fragrant sweat thin clothes cool, cool clothes thin sweat fragrance. The lotus root was served in a bowl of ice with red hands, and the lotus root was served in a bowl of ice with red hands. The long lotus root laughs at the man." His palindromic poems displayed superb ability to choose words and construct sentences. Whether it was read forward or backward, they were very smooth and full of artistic conception. There is also Li Yu's "Two Lovesickness", which is being read as "Missing Wife Poetry"."Withered eyes looking at the distant mountains across the water, how many hearts have you seen?" The pot is empty, afraid to drink a glass of wine, it is difficult to write a rhyme poem. The road is blocked, people leave for a long time, no wild goose sent back late. The lonely night guard is lonely. The husband misses his wife, and the father misses his son." The poem read in reverse as "Missing Husband Poetry":"Children miss their fathers, wives miss their husbands, lonely night lights are lonely." Late return to send wild goose no news, long farewell people block the road. It is difficult to write poems and poems, and I am afraid that the wine cup will be empty. I've seen and seen my close friends, and I've seen and seen them. I've seen and seen them in the distance, and my eyes have dried up." The emotions were sincere and moving. Different reading orders could express different angles of longing. Nalan Xingde's "Bodhisattva Man" said,"The fog window is cold against the distant sky, and the distant sky is facing the cold window fog." Flowers fall, crows cry, crows cry, flowers fall. The shadow of the sleeve is thin, and the shadow of the thin sleeve is thin. The wind cuts off a trace of red, and the red thread cuts off the wind." It was also loved by many people because of its unique artistic conception and ingenious construction of palindromic inscriptions. These palindromic poems all displayed the artistic characteristics of palindromic poems in their own unique ways. It was difficult to determine which palindromic poem was the " best ".
Su Shi's "Inscription on Jinshan Temple" was a classic palindromic poem, a seven-character poem. The original text was: " The tide follows the dark waves and the snowy mountains, and the fishing boat fishes for the moon in the distant lake. The bridge faces the temple gate, and the pine path is small, and the stone waves at the mouth of the spring are clear. The green trees are far away, the river is bright, the sea is red and the sun is clear. Looking at the four sides of the clouds and the water, the green peaks are thousands of points light." The magical thing about this poem was that it was a " full palindromic ". Reading from the end to the beginning of the word could form another poem: " The light Hong counts the thousands of peaks, the water meets the clouds and looks far away. On a sunny day, the sea is red and misty, and the trees on the river are green in the morning. Qingbo stone eye spring is the threshold, the path is Songmen Temple opposite the bridge. The fishing boat in the bright moon is far away, and the snow and waves are dark with the tide." Reading forward, it was a beautiful picture of "Dawn in the River", depicting the scenery of Jinshan Temple from midnight to early morning, showing the infinite vitality of light after darkness, turning from stillness; Reading backward, it became "Boating in the Moonlit Night", the scenery changed from day to night, with the couplet "Dawn in the River" and the couplet "Boating under the Moon". Reading forward, it was the scenery of the moon night to the dawn of the river, and reading backward, it was the dawn to the fishing boat singing late. Both poems were complete and of high quality, with different artistic conception, reflecting Su Shi's superb poetic talent.
"Inscription on Jinshan Temple" was a seven-character palindromic poem written by Su Shi. It depicted the scene from the moonlight to the dawn of the river, and the scene from dawn to the fishing boat singing late. Shun read: tide with the dark waves of snow mountain tilt, far Pu fishing boat fishing moon bright. The bridge faces the temple gate, and the pine path is small, and the stone waves at the mouth of the spring are clear. The green trees are far away, the river is bright, the sea is red and the sun is clear. Looking at the four sides of the clouds and water, green peaks thousands of points Hong light. Read backwards: light Hong several points of thousands of peaks green, water connected to the clouds around the distance. On a sunny day, the sea is red and misty, and the trees on the river are green in the morning. Qingbo stone eye spring is the threshold, the path is Songmen Temple opposite the bridge. The moon is bright, the fishing boat is far away, the mountains are steep, the snow is dark, and the waves follow the tide.
Su Shi's palindromic poems had excellent works involving tea rhyme. For example, in the second poem of "Dream Remembrance", tea is sung: "Empty flowers fall to the end of the wine pouring jar, the sun rises up the mountain to melt the snow and rise the river." Red baked shallow pot new fire, dragon group small grinding clear window." Reading it backwards, it read," The window is clear and the bucket is crushed into a small ball of dragon. The new fire is slightly baked red." The river rises and the snow melts on the mountain. The wine in the jar is emptied and the flowers are empty." This poem vividly wrote the scene of taking water to prepare tea, raising fire to boil, and slowly drinking tea. It was interesting to read it straight and backward, full of tea rhyme.
