The main character of the story was Xu Le. The content revolved around Xu Le, a young man who was proficient in mechanical repair. He was wanted because his master was being pursued and was implicated. He changed his identity and entered a famous university to work. In the course of the story, he formed a deep friendship with the warlord's young daughter Zhong Yanhua, the young agent Shi Qinghai, the descendant of the former emperor Tai Zhiyuan, and others. He also parted ways with his girlfriend Zhang Xiaomeng. He even risked his life to save his friend Tai Zhiyuan and idol star Jian Shui 'er. After Xu Le received the recognition of the Federation's God of War, he continued to advance in the army. During a military operation, he broke into the empire and discovered his background. The characters in the novel were rich, ranging from the top ten families of the federation to the minor characters of the low-class planets in Donglin. They were full of delicate emotions, plots of power struggles, and thoughts about society and human nature. Spike continued Joy of Life's worldview. It was set in the interstellar era many years after Joy of Life, where human society was supervised by the super-intelligent "old thing". The adaptation of the TV series faced many challenges, such as filming costs, technical difficulties, and a large number of political allusions in the book, but the script was currently being written.
