Investigation Report: College Students 'Extra-cursory Reading 1. Investigate the background The purpose of this survey is to understand the situation of college students 'extra-cursory reading, mainly from the reading type, reading frequency, reading content, reading experience and other aspects. Through the investigation and analysis of college students' reading, we can understand their reading interest and reading status, and provide reference for college students 'reading guidance and recommendation. 2 Investigation Methods A total of 1000 college students participated in the survey. The content of the survey included reading type, reading frequency, reading content, reading experience and other aspects. It used a combination of open and closed questions to understand the college students 'reading interest and reading status. 3 Investigation Results (1)reading type In this survey, the reading types of college students mainly include novels, essays, poems, biographies, etc. Among them, novels were the first choice for college students to read, accounting for 543%. In addition, 293% and 214% of college students liked to read prose and poetry respectively. (2)reading frequency In terms of reading frequency, 327% of college students read 1-2 articles per month, 243% read 3-4 articles per month, and 174% read 5 or more articles per month. (3)reading content In terms of reading content, college students read a wide range of literary works, such as novels, essays, poems and so on. Among them, 724% of college students were most interested in novels. In addition, university students also liked to read books in the fields of history, philosophy, and sociology. (4)reading experience In terms of reading experience, college students generally believe that reading is a beneficial way of learning, which can improve reading level and expand knowledge. In the process of reading, college students could often feel the joy of reading and could choose different types of books to read according to their preferences.
